Chapter One

-Heliopolis-
[All systems check] There was a nervous undertone to the message heard in all their helmets.
[Final coordinates inserted] The 12 ZAFT soldiers in green pilot suits were ready.
[Remember Junius 7] They all yelled out loud "For Lacus! Vengeance!"
The entry pod was filled with soldiers, and suggestion enhancing gas. It also containd equipment to tie the colony's information network to the pods, where Lacus had put audio, visual, and audio-visual content designed to alter the thought processes of gassed masses.
This pod was one of 12 on each Nazca class Battleship, 12 for each side of the colony.
Kill all soldiers that were not under suggestive state, taze and tag all civilians that were not under suggestive state. The mission was simple, elegant and something only a Coordinator would think about. Or at least that is what the soldiers in the pod thought.
Pod 12 detached from the Marie Curie, and gently moved using only directional jets towards the ORB colony of Heliopolis.
-Inside Heliopolis-
The ORB engineers worked hard on the Astrays "Are you sure we will get to use these?" asked one of them. "They are not meant for OMNI, that's for sure" their Chief Engineer replied. There were 5 of them, each were the same but with different packs reserved for testing.
The Aile Pack was the easiest to make. The Buster Pack needed another power battery, Duel pack lacked the Assault Shroud that was being developped. The Blitz on the other hand would work, but needed another power battery.
Pod 0 had detached itself from the Vesalius, it had 12 red pilot suited ZAFT elites. Lacus had to choose the best 12 Red Uniforms from what she had, not all were to her liking. But they would get the job done.
3 teams: Heine Westenfluss led team 1, Athrun Zala led team 2 and Miguel Aiman led team3. Team 1 was on a mission to take the Astrays, Team 2 had the G Weapons and Team 3 the Ship.
Kira was watching the news on his laptop, when Birdie perched on his left shoulder.
Flay walked across the street while chatting with her two friends about the latest PLANTs fashion.
Tolle and Kuzzey were talking about the letter Sai had sent to Flay while walking to where Kira watched the News.
Natarle walked towards the same place as it was one of the car stops, she had two ensigns with her.
Who would have guessed that this meeting would change everything in the know universe?
Pod 12's three teams moved to set up their gas canisters, securing the perimeter and hacking into the visual and sound network. [The game is set] said their commander, The Nazca crews recived the message. The same message was received from 23 other Pod teams, the game was indeed set.
Pods 1-11 had a simple mission: secure the three other G Project ship hulls, well actually it was only pods 1-9. Pod 10 teams had to take over the Mistral launch port, while pod 11 teams had to take the Marseilles III one way or the other.
-Outside Heliopolis-
All 3 Nazcas had 12 CGUEs, 2 CGUE Assault and 2 CGUE Heavyarms. Lacus knew she had all her pieces on the board, all that was left was the order to execute her plan.
The pilots were ready to launch from their Nazca's, and the gunners were ready to shoot their pre-determined targets from the three ships.
Little did they know that the Serpent's Tail mercenary company was fighting ZAFT forces on their way to Heliopolis. Lacus had occypying forces ready to move in after her first stage was done, but now that same reserve force was being occupied by mercenaries.
A Junk Guild Marseilles III was en route to Heliopolis, how will this affect Lacus's plans?
The Izumo, namesake of the Izumo class ORB Battleship was also en route to Heliopolis. maybe Lacus chew more than she could bite?
