Hi, I'm Luke (after Luke Castellan) I'm a child of Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, and ever since I became of age (which happened to be two years earlier than my dad) things have started to go sideways. First, we moved to Alaska, the land beyond the gods; second, I discovered that my grandma on my mom's side is a goddess, Athena, and that my granddad on my dad's side is a god, Poseidon; third, monsters have started attacking me and my family because demigods apparently have a certain smell that only monsters can sense; fourth, my parents are some of the most powerful demigods ever. I'm going to assume you want a description of me, I have my mom's hair, and my dad's eyes, and a small scar from my aunt, a Daughter of Zeus and a huntress. They say that I have a sense of humor like a friend of theirs, I think Leo was his name, but I seriously doubt it. I inherited my mom's ability to analyze things, and I have an above-average IQ, along with ADHD. I can't breathe underwater, but can control most liquids with extreme precision, but only in small amounts; because of this, I'm excellent with all projectile weapons, but they don't give the satisfaction that a sword does, so I don't use them all too often. I also have a sword with poison built into it, gorgon's blood, so that I can control it. The sword looks extremely similar to my dad's but it turns into a bracelet that looks like one of my parents' bead necklaces.

My day started off like it normally would, but it was a Saturday, so no school. School is the most boring thing ever, my mom wants me to get perfect A's but I procrastinate, a lot.

I go downstairs and put some waffles in the toaster, while I'm waiting, I go into the backyard and practice to be able to control larger amounts of water. When I go back inside, I eat my perfectly done waffles, and go into my room to read, and no I don't have dyslexia.

(Time skip, provided by the nice side of Kronos)

I heard the sound of glass breaking outside my door, that was normal, because we were living in the land beyond the gods, there were extra monsters; I didn't pay any attention to it. But, it happened again, I ignored it still, I finally came out to a not so beautiful sight, my dad was lying on the floor, in a pretty big puddle of blood, my mom then came flying from the next room into the wall, then she saw me, pale and frozen, scared because, this, monster or abomination or whatever it is, just took out the two most powerful demigods ever.

"Go," my mom croaked, from pain, I handed her the packet of ambrosia that I had in my room. An arrow came whistling in from the room that mom had gotten flung out of. I didn't notice, until it hit me in the arm, breaking it. I howled in pain. Luckily, it was blunt-tipped, built to cause the most damage to bones and internal organs, because of this, it didn't pierce my skin, keeping me from dying of blood loss (which would've happened if it was not blunt, it would've pierced my radial artery). I was so lost in thought and pain, I didn't notice my mom was still talking, "...to the camp." she finished before pouring water all over my dad's face to try to get him to wake up. He didn't.

"How am I supposed to get there?" I asked quickly.

"Take Mrs. O' Leary," she shouted, wanting me to leave. Mrs. O' Leary came. She whispered something in her ear and the large hellhound whimpered.

Another arrow came at my other arm, this time, however, I was ready for it, I took out my sword and sliced the arrow in half, one half of the arrow went spiraling off, the other half went into my gut. I screamed in pain. I stumbled back to my room to get my bow and hunter's quiver (given to me by Aunt Thalia). I heard sounds of metal on metal outside my room. I got out (no I didn't run, I couldn't, I had a fractured arm and an arrow in my stomach) and saw the worst thing that would ever happen to me. A bright red blade was sticking through mom's stomach. The red blade slowly got pulled out and the assailant stepped back as mom collapsed.

He had a golden mask similar to medusa's face and curly golden snake hair. He was dressed in full greek combat armor with a greek sword made of imperial gold.

"Payback," he snarled, "for what happened in the Ancient Lands." He turned to me, "You're the next part of why I came here." He started approaching me. He was radiating so much hate that the air started to get colder.

"Why'd you come here?"

"I'm not gonna start monologuing, that just hurts me and gives you time." He lunged at my stomach, but when I went to parry, he moved his sword from above mine, to below it. He grabbed my hand and yanked it towards him while pushing my sword up with his sword. He pushed my hand down and twisted it forcing me to let go of my sword. In about thirty seconds my sword would reappear on my wrist, but until then, I had to fight him unarmed.

I know what you're going to say. It's probably something along the lines of, 'why don't you control the water vapor in the air?' A few reasons: one, this is Alaska, it's drier than a desert during the summer; two, I can only control small amounts, the amount that I'd get from the air would be so useless, I'd have to import some water; three, I didn't have the time to gather the water even if there was enough.

For the next thirty seconds, I was like a leaf on the wind, untouchable by physical objects. During this time, however, he fought like a demon. He was dual-wielding my sword, which made it impossible for it to return to my pocket. It won't disappear while anyone is holding it because that causes lots of problems, such as someone thinking it got stolen (and other reasons, but that doesn't matter).

Mrs. O' Leary realized what was happening, bit my shirt, and jumped into the nearest shadow, but I had just witnessed something else, a tip of a trident and a weighted net.

I appeared in the woods along with Mrs. O' Leary, she let me go.

"WHY," I screamed, "Why didn't you let me stay there! You stupid hellhound." Mrs. O' Leary whimpered, "Go back to them! Help them, make sure they're okay." I stumbled towards the camp, clutching my fractured arm and trying my best to stay standing. By the time I actually found the camp, I'd lost a large amount of blood, and it was midday, I collapsed behind one of the cabins.
