Hello all. It's been a while, hasn't it? 8 years since the original Tails' Hockey Adventure was created. And my god have I improved in 8 years in terms of spelling and grammar.

So, as a way of saying "I'm back!", why don't we revisit the story that started it all and give it a proper remastering and give the story I was meaning to tell in 2013 a proper storytelling, shall we?

Prologue

Station Square. A bustling metropolis filled with many people, many different types of buildings, and many different attractions to pull in tourists and locals alike.

One such attraction was getting close to opening. A new Arena nestled in the heart of the town, dedicated to Hockey, a sport that has captivated the minds of all of Station Square's citizens and tourists.

Hundreds of people huddled around the arena's entrance, coated in red ribbon as the mayor of the town walked up with the obligatory security team to the ribbon in question. One security guard was holding a small box with the ceremonial scissors to cut the ribbon with.

"It is a fine day for Station Square." The mayor began to speak as the hundreds of spectators quieted down and listened to what the mayor had to say.

"We are pleased to unveil this new arena to the fine citizens of Station Square as this has been a project I've been proud of. From the infrastructure to the amenities, we have poured a lot of time, money, and passion into this arena." As the mayor said this, the citizens began to clap for a short while, just as excited as the mayor was themselves to see the new arena be opened to the public.

"I hereby decree that the Station Square Arena is now…" The mayor paused briefly for the unveiling as the security guard handed the mayor the ceremonial scissors before the mayor finally said… "OPEN!"

The mayor cut the ribbon seamlessly as the citizens cheer in delight, their new arena being opened for all to see.

However… the celebrations would be cut short by a certain someone's arrival.

"HAHAHAHAHA! Perfect timing, my subjects! I was just about to open this arena for myself!"

The people in the crowd then screamed as they saw an encapsulated machine flying down to the arena, with a face all too familiar to everyone in attendance. It was none other than Dr. Ivo Robotnik, or as he's more commonly known as, Dr. Eggman.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS." The mayor yelled, all while Eggman laughed at them.

"Why so alarmed? I wanted this arena to open for so long, because now I can finally host my own tournament!" Dr. Eggman said with fake genuine, wanting to not make himself look bad in front of hundreds and not wanting to attract Sonic's attention.

All the while, the attendees just stood there, frozen to the spot at the sight of Eggman's Eggmobile hovering above them.

"You see, this arena opening is the perfect venue to go on my apology tour for all my wrongdoings over the years, and I want to provide you all with top-end hockey entertainment." Eggman continued to explain, trying his best to appear genuine in front of everyone while lying right in front of their face.

"This isn't like when you tried to open an amusement park in space, right?" The mayor asked, still skeptical of Eggman's intentions.

Eggman merely just laughed as he boiled internally from being reminded of one of his plans going awry thanks to Sonic… again.

"Not at all, because this time I really do mean it. Just give me a chance to prove it." Eggman said with fake remorse as he was starting to get annoyed at the mayor's stubbornness.

Eventually, the mayor relented. "Very well, you may host your tournament." The mayor signaled for the security to stand down as everyone relaxed.

'Hook, line and sinker!' Eggman thought to himself as he just fooled the entirety of Station Square in one fell swoop.

Little did anyone know at the ceremony was that this was all a hoax.

Eggman has already kidnapped Sonic. He kidnapped a few of Sonic's friends as well. And he "re-educated" them into going along with his devilish plan to take over the world once again, this time, through the guise of the game of Hockey.

However, he did not account for Tails still being a free fox. And now, Tails must join forces with some of his friends and even a Pokemon itself in order to stop Eggman's plot and save the world from his grasp once again.

This is the beginning of a journey… on the Hockey rink.
