Prologue: Sealing the Bijuu.
Yellow chains would wrap around the rampaging fox. It would struggle to move around as it's forced to look at it's captors. The woman who created the chains had red hair and blood trickling out of her mouth. The chains came from outside of her back as she looked down at her children.
"Naruto.. Menma.." The woman would say, her voice weak and shaky as she smiled down at the two children.
"Kushina.." A blonde man who was holding the two children would say as he looks at his wife with worry.
"I'm going to bring the Nine Tails with me to my death." The woman would say as she smiles at her husband. She didn't have any worry in her eyes, only happiness.
"I'll be able to save all of you... with what little chakra I have left.." Kushina continued. The giant fox would growl at its captor, trying to break free of the chains.
The children would continue to cry in the mans arms as he looked at his wife.
"Kushina.." The man said again. His voice sounded as though he was contemplating what he should do.
"It's because of you that I'm the Fourth Hokage.. And you made me these children's father.." The man would grit his teeth, not liking the idea of his wife sacrificing herself.
Kushina would smile at her blonde husband softly, her eyes having bags under them.
"It's going to be fine.. Minato." She would say.
"If I were to imagine me alive, and our future together, I imagine us spending it happily with both Menma and Naruto." Kushina would smile as a tear fell from her eye.
She would look up at her husband, continuing to speak.
"If I were to have just one regret, it would be not being able to spend more time with my beautiful children." Kushina said. Her voice started to tremble with sadness as she looked back down at her two boys. One had blonde hair, and one had black hair.
"Kushina, there is no need for you to die with the Nine Tails" Minato would say, tears streaming down his eyes.
"I'll seal all of your remaining chakra inside of Naruto and Menma." He would say, wiping the tears from his eyes as he looked at his wife with determination.
"It will be part of an Eight Signed Seal." The blonde yondaime said as he would grab his wife's hand.
"The Reaper Death Seal." Minato continued. Kushina would look at him with a mixture of shock and horror.
"But the caster that uses that jutsu..!" Kushina would start to say before she gets cut off.
"Will die, I know. And I also know it is also strategically unwise. If you take the Nine Tails and its seal with you when you die, It will just reform a couple decades later." Minato would say then continue on with talking.
"I will seal the Yin half of the Nine Tails into Menma, and the Yang half of the Nine Tails into Naruto." Minato would say.
"But Minato..!" Kushina would begin to speak as her husband puts both their children down onto the ground.
Minato would put his hands together, starting to create a seal that created a demon with long white hair and a white robe to emerge, it having a small sword in it's mouth and 6 white flames around it.
"When I'm finished with the Reaper Death Seal, I will seal your chakra inside of Naruto and Menma." Minato would say, staring down at his wife.
"They're our sons which is why I don't want to put such a terrible burden on them!" Kushia would yell, still looking up at her husband who moved to stand directly in front of her.
Minato would give a soft smile to his wife as if to reassure her. "It's going to be fine, Kushina. I wouldn't do this if I didn't believe in them."
Minato would move his arms to his side, seeing his wife calm down a bit. As he did this, the demon behind him would move it's hand through his chest, ripping a hole through it, but no blood came out. The hand would reach far out, heading for the giant Kyuubi.
It would grip onto the Kyuubi then rip out a part of it's soul, bringing that half back and putting it inside of Menma, making a black seal form on the babies stomach.
"Damn you…" The Kyuubi would say, looking down at Minato, it's size noticeably smaller than before.
Minato would create a small alter with a stone bed big enough for a baby to fit on it. He would put Naruto on the stone bed.
"Alright, next is the Eight Signed Seal." Minato would put the baby on the alter, beginning to do the seal when the half sized Kyuubi would raise it's hand going to stab the baby with one of it's claws.
It would bring it's arm down, only for both Kushina and Minato to get in the way of it, the nail going through both of the parents as they protect their child.
Crimson blood would drip onto the sleeping baby as the nail just barely reaches him.
"Why you-!" The half sized Kyuubi would begin.
Kushina would begin to cry as she looks down at her sleeping child, a smile on her face.
"If only I could be with the both of you a little bit longer… I love you both." She would say, tears flowing from her cheeks.
Minato would give a small smile as he looks down at the child.
"Menma.. I want you to protect your brother.. And Naruto.. I want you to do the same thing for your brother.." Minato would say.
"Hakke Fuuin…" Minato would whisper as the same seal that was on Menma's stomach appeared on Naruto's.
After the jutsu was cast, the Fourth Hokage and Kushina would pass away as a man would walk up to the child in battle armor.
"Naruto.. Menma… I will take care of you both for your parents sake." The man would say as he picks both the children up, looking at the night sky as tears begin to go down his cheeks.
