I was relaxing by the creek, when I felt someone standing behind me. Their scent was so familiar to me, I smiled.
"I thought I would find you here, my alpha." Wyatt remarked, as he sat down beside me. I am so lucky to have him as my mate and Beta. "You seem distracted by something. Is everything okay, Addison?"
"I feel like I have embraced being a werewolf, but there is still a missing piece of who I am. Also I feel like everything is going too smoothly, every year since I started at Seabrooke high. I have faced a challenge of some sort, what if I can't beat the challenge this year?" I answered, scared. I avoid Wyatt's gaze, nervous of seeing disappointment. The great alpha shouldn't show fear. He tilted my chin so I would look into his eyes, instead of disappointment. His eyes were glowing yellow, I felt his mark on my shoulder warm up.
"It's okay, Addison I understand who you feel. Before I saw you, I had given up on being a teenager. Since as a Beta, I am expected to help the Alpha keep the pack safe. Now that we have the moonstone, I can be a teenager." Wyatt revealed. He is so understanding, I love him so much. "Also whatever challenge is coming, you won't have to face it alone. The pack and I will stand by your side, Addison."
"It's hard for me to believe that it's been a year since Prawn, the night that I became your mate and embraced being the Alpha. But you're right I don't have to worry about facing whatever challenge is coming alone." I remarked, happily. All of the sudden, I heard Bucky howling for help. Looks like this years challenge has just started. Wyatt and I looked at each worried, I sprinted in the direction of Bucky's howl.
Why is Bucky howling for help? What's in store for our favorite white haired alpha?
