This one shot is a translation of my one shot "Cauchemar", I hope you like this short story!

From now on, redemption guided his life. The hatred had disappeared or rather was very well hidden, so much so that it did not manifest itself. All those years of hate still haunted his dreams or rather his nightmares. He was reliving his acts in a loop, mixing some passages sometimes. Seeing his Chidori crackled in that hand he had lost a few years ago, Sakura's face covered with tears in front of his, Itachi's voice that kept repeating his words that had haunted him in his youth.

Then, he heard a voice behind him. Turning around, he saw the image of his dying brother, of Sakura after the fight against Kaguya before his Chidori passed by someone's head. He then saw Sarada raising her head to him crying, whispering a "Daddy". A hand was put on his daughter's shoulder to push her back by Naruto who ran on him shouting his name and gave him a punch that made him fall on the after three punches, the nightmare started again with each time elements that were added. The fight against Killer Bee, against Naruto. The murder of the Kumo shinobi. His desertion of Konoha. The ''Sacrifice'' of Karin...

Then finally, it ended with the massacre of the Uchiha ,but bodies were added to the scene. The bodies of his new family, his best friend and his team, Taka. The blood was not on Itachi's hands ,but on his own.

He woke up abruptly, his breathing was rapid, sweat was pouring down his forehead and spine. Sasuke didn't often have these nightmares when he was at home, usually those appeared on a mission. He got up to a sitting position and wiped his forehead. Lost in his thoughts, he did not see the door of the room opens.

"Still awake? "

He looked up at the person who had just returned.

"Sakura?"

"I just finished, I didn't think you'd be up at this hour. "

"..."

"Are you okay, Sasuke? " she said as she moved closer to him.

He then put his arm around her waist, resting his head on her belly as he sat. Sakura ran her hand through his hair, stroking it tenderly.

"I'm fine. "

The rose lifted her husband's head to look at his face where beads of sweat were still dripping from his forehead. She kissed his forehead before plunging her eyes in his.

"You had one of those nightmares you told me about."

"...Yes."

"Don't worry, I'm here. "

She gave him a light kiss on the lips before giving him a hug.

"We're all still here, you don't need to worry. "
