I don't own Arknights. It belongs to it's respective owners.

The war between the biggest factions had ceased, after three whole years of fighting the end of the war was already upon the people in this world.

Rhodes Island had became a refuge for both non-infected and infected due to the 'hate infected' ideology spread throughout the world for the infected and for the normal citizens, they just wanted to coexist with each other. The idealism that Rhodes Island, this organization was built for.

The moving city had to increase its size ten folds but that was just a measle matter for Rhodes Islands Operators. it took only

The whole reservation team Op were very skilled on construction and remodelling. Surprisingly. Probably because the doctor kept using them for producing metals and other important materials for the income of Rhodes Islands.

You must be wondering about the other organizations. Well, they're still the same as always but more glad and relived that the war had been history for now.

You can see the peacefulness of the SilverAsh family, the focused work of finding the cure for Oripathy of Rhine Labs, the never-ending mayhem from Penguin Logistics.

Reunion, not much news but just to drop a few bombshells, they joined Rhodes Island's ranks for working up a cure.

Their leader Talulah had seen many of her people die, turned into ores for money by some mining company.

Therefore, a truce was made and miraclously, there was no friction amongst Reunion and Rhodes Island now.

Well, Doctor Heinz have had to admit that there were problems that arose but it was seldom. The grudge for killing their comrades was not easily forgotten.

Well, the fact that they all live in Rhodes Island now was a little shocking for the doctor. The doctor was a strategist of war, they followed his orders thoroughly even death awaits them for they were ready to sacrifice themselves for the sake of others so others could bask in the sun with peace, could finally smile for just no reason.

Now, peace was made. No wars, no deaths, no bloodshed, no obligation for anyone to follow him anymore because the very purpose for their motivation had been fulfilled at long last.

You wouldn't be weirded out if you had finished a game and then decided to find a new one throwing away the finished goal.

It's normal to have found a new passion or something else to live for other than fighting. Probably, that's the reason the doctor assumed.

They're finding something... that they want to fight for.

"Doctor..." A certain bunny who was always mistaken as a donkey by her peers came into the office where a certain doctor was lost in thought staring through the window.

"Y-Yes... Amiya, what seems to be the problem?" stuttering a little, the doctor saw Amiya's face held a tinge of worry.

sigh~

The brown bunny sighed, she was worried for the doctor because his work before and after the war seemed to have magically quadrupled. Seems political matters and financial issues for a moving soon-to-be nation from the looks of things were not little.

The other Operators were helping the best they could but the doctor always advised them to take a break. Leaving him, to mountains and mountains of unfinished work.

Some protested like Dr Kalstit, but she too had been persuaded by the doctor. The others were getting worried about the doctor's health.

Speaking of health, the black robed man has to find a better methodology to suppress Oripathy infection and it's progression to turn beings into precious metal.

"Let's have a break, Doctor Heinz. Please..." Amiya pleaded sadly, hoping that he would actually give himself a break from working himself to the bone.

"Just... a second" the Doctor, Heinz yawned grabbing a piece of paper from the mountains of paper on the right side of the desk before stamping it and putting it on another high piling stacks of paper opposite of the other one.

"There's no end when it comes to you" a female voice was heard sounding a bit fumed.

The next thing you know it, was a dragon folk with shiny grey hair furiously making its way to the Doctor grabbing Amiya and the Doctor before dragging them outside of Heinz's workplace or you called say it hell on Earth.

Outside, there stood a lynx, a vulpo and a sarkaz eyeing him all the while tapping their foot on the floor.

Seems everyone is angry... the doctor thought to himself.

He looked towards his assistance for today which was Amiya but she too took her place among the ranks of the three people surrounding him.

"Okay... let me be clear this time, Doctor Heinz" Kalstit took a deep breath, pinching between her eyes not allowing her anger to be heard in her voice.

"Please... could you kindly be more considerate to yourself? You sent others from their workplace just on time when you were still working" The green lynx tail moved about angrily, seems like Kalstit was holding her anger and expressing it on her tail.

"I agree on Kalstit for once. When was the last time you slept? if you would enlighten me" Chen's voice had venom in it that could rival Kalstit herself.

"Three weeks ago... perhaps? I-I don't really remember" Heinz chuckled nervously as Amiya screamed.

"Three weeks! Are you sure you're okay, Doctor?! H-How-"

"I'm fine... if you hadn't slept for countless nights like me then you could obtain a immunity to such things" feeling proud of himself, the doctor puffed out his chest.

Talulah slapped herself for the doctor's idiocy, surely the restless nights had gave him delusions and degression of intellectual capability.

"R-Right... sigh~ It's best to knock him out, you agree Chen-nee"

The four girls nodded in acceptance as if they were in sync.

At least that what looked like a minute ago before Amiya had finally let what Talulah said sunk in. She furiously shook her head in denial.

But alas, Talulah delivered a slight tap to his stomach before carrying him like luggage.

"Seriously, even though the infection is getting worse, he doesn't need to work himself to death. Yeesh..." Chen spoke aloud, thinking for a minute about the doctor's hardwork in preparing a suitable medicine perfect for Oripathy.

You shouldn't work yourself too much... Baka... Baka, Baka, Baka! Chen angrily shouted in her head.

Kalstit saw a fuming Chen but ignored it. Her concerns was with the current leader of Rhodes Islands.

The lynx prioritized the doctor's health only because he was the modal figure of Rhodes Island and a great researcher of Oripathy.

Yes... that's all... nothing else... But still, how can he not take care for himself that stupid idiot. idiot... It was Kalstit's turn to silently scream in her head.

"Where should I...?" Talulah seeing her sister and Kalstit having the same expression made her stop in her tracks to question them.

If not for the difference in races then the three of them would be labelled sisters

Hahaha... if it comes, then I'll welcome it the sarkaz smiled upon thinking of a family and a place to call home.

This shocked her quite a bit since she never willingly smiled and the next thing, a smile appeared out of nowhere.

You are surrounded by good people Heinz, not like before.

The girl sarkaz carried the doctor in the same position all the while gazing on his limp body

People who you could call family, and the ones that you want to protect.

Upon reaching the door to Heinz's bedroom chamber, the door opened itself.

Your just like me in a way.

Softly laying the doctor on his bed and tucking him like a mom should. Talulah didn't expected to see this side of her again.

I fight for my family of the infected in the Reunion. Now, they're dieing and I'll do anything to keep them safe.

The gray haired girl went to exit, the door opened but stopped Midway. Looking towards the Doctor, she turned back.

And I found a new purpose in life thanks to you, Heinz. Again, How many times will you be there to save me?

Kissing his forehead, Talulah hurriedly exited the room while holding her lips which touched the Doctor, smiling.

You should take care of yourself more doctor, because the people that you cared about cares about you too.

Talulah happily skipped around feeling satisfied and blushing lightly.
