Leo and Calypso's Garage
Leo hammered the last nail into place.
There were lots of tools he could have used to make it go faster, but when he had the chance, he enjoyed the feeling of doing something by hand - making something without the use of magic or power tools, just him and the last board to be attached, and Leo and Calypso's Garage: Auto Repair and Mechanical Monsters would be officially complete.
Technically (and Leo's world stood or died on technicalities, so he had learned to treat them seriously) the garage had been finished for weeks. But fresh fruits, vegetables, cider, and stew had all been part of the original plan, so they couldn't open until he had finished Calypso's side.
Of course, magical singing and random bursts into flame, had also been part of the original plan, but he had a feeling they could hand wave the latter. At least for their mortal customers.
The project was finished now anyway. The boards had all been painstakingly stained individually to give it a rustic feel, and now they were all in place, lining the island he had set up, so Calypso could make her stew. It really did look beautiful. She had a real eye for design. Everything from the way her little kitchen nook flowed into the reception area, to the natural flow to the garage was something she had helped him with. The glass wall that allowed customers to see into the garage, the hand-made chairs in reception, and the earthy tones of cupboards and floor of the kitchenette really did blend "industrial professionalism" with "rustic comfort."
He still needed to get back at Piper for getting Calypso obsessed with House Hunters, Love it or List it, or whatever it was she had introduced the sorceress too.
He looked up at the jingle of the little bell on the door to the shop.
"Leo, why did you leave so early? By the time I was ready to leave, Emmie and Jo said you'd already been gone for - Oh, Leo, it's perfect!" the former immortal cried out. She gave an excited little spin at the space around her. "Leo and Calypso's Garage! It's finally real!"
Leo laughed as he straightened from his crouched position. "Cal, you'd think that after we worked on building it together for months, you might have noticed it was real already."
She gave a very uncharacteristic squeal. "I know, it's just different seeing it all finished. We'll work here, and stay at the Waystation, and I know we already had that all planned, but it's so perfectly real now that it's done!"
Her enthusiasm was rubbing off on him. He was even more excited to show her the surprise. "You'll never believe it. Here come take a look at your kitchen."
He grabbed her hand, and dragged her over, both laughing in delight. He threw open the cupboards, and showed her the secret project. A full set of pots and pans, each made for him, specially for her. He had even thoughtfully colored them red - her favorite color.
"Leo! When did you have time to make these?" she asked, dumbfounded
He smirked. "While you were watching Property Brothers."
She rolled her eyes, but the smile was still plastered on her face, "They're so beautiful. I'm so lucky to have you. I love you Leo."
"Love you to, Cal." He kissed her on the forehead. "You helped me with the garage. I think it's only fair I help you with stew."
Her musical laugh sounded. "Leo and Calypso's Garage: Auto Repair and Mechanical Monsters."
"Fresh fruit and vegetables."
"Cider and stew"
Author's Note:
*squeal* I love Leo and Calypso together so very much.
One, I very narrowly realized I hadn't titled the story, and almost left: Come up with a title, dumb-a-, at the top, which I just thought would give someone a laugh
Two, I also had it in my head somehow that it was Leo and Calypso's Taco Garage. So good thing I checked House of Hades before posting this.

This will not be updated unless y'all request a one-shot for me to write. It's just a little side thing for if you want to hear about a specific ship or scenario, then I'll oblige. (slash or het, canon or canon divergent, I don't care)
The only exceptions are:
I won't write anything higher than T, so keep that in mind
I won't write anything involving a maiden goddess or Hunter of Artemis (you wouldn't think it was a good fic, I can't write those to save my life)
I won't write anything involving someone having a relationship with a minor because *pukes*
That about covers it!
If you have a one-shot request, tell me through a review or PM!
Have a lovely day,
