RWBY Reloaded: The Atlas Superman 2.
One Week after the Fall of Atlas.
(Argus, Kingdom Of Mistral)
The newly released Caroline Cordovin looks over the treaty with Sam Henry and the other members of the Council of Atlas. Reuben Clark, sits in his military uniform, smoking a cigar while looking at them reading the document.
Caroline: I swore we would never give an inch of Atlesian Territory.
Reuben takes a drag on his cigar.
Reuben: Uh-huh. Northern Solitas, and the Eastern Islands.
Jacques Schnee, who surprisingly is still alive, objects.
Jacques: Headmaster Clark, you cannot be serious! It would provoke a socialist revolution across what remains of the Kingdom!
Jacques is referring to Robyn Hill and her growing appeal after citizens found themselves in Vacuo and Mistralian Refugee camps.
Reuben: I suggest you sign quickly, and provoke a socialist revolution now, while you still have a military to crush it with.
Sam takes out a pen, attaching his name to the treaty in place of Ironwood. Cordovin, as Supreme Commander of the Atlas Military signs away ¼ of the remaining territory of the former Kingdom. The councilmembers one after the other sign the paper that formally dissolves the Atlesian Kingdom and calls for a new government on Solitas.
Sam: Once Atlas Academy is rebuilt, we would like the Headmasters to promote it.
Reuben: Headmaster Henry, you are a man who I admire most. In order to strip the legacy of two failed Imperial Regimes, it must be called something else. When the four Kingdoms meet in Vytal in a few months we will discuss the rebuilding of Solitas and what to do with the former Atlas Academy.
Reuben turns around in the chair given to him.
Reuben: With the deaths of so many at Atlas and Beacon, we live in a radically different world than three or even four years ago.
Jacques: I understand that. I will have to attend my daughter's funeral in two days.
Reuben turns back around.
Reuben: On the day of the funerals, I will give a State of the Kingdom address, they will not have died in vain. I promise you; I will take my revenge on Salem for this.
The former Councilmembers scans copies of the document with their scrolls. They each leave the room, while Penny Polendina walks in the room.
Penny: Reuben?
Reuben looks up and puts out his cigar. Penny walks over to him.
Reuben: Yes Miss Polendina?
Penny: I know this past week has been rather difficult. Would you like me to relieve your tensions?
Reuben shrugs his shoulders.
Reuben: Why not.
Penny walks behind Reuben and starts to massage his shoulders with her hands.
Penny: I used to do this for the General.
Reuben: Ruby…. she's truly gone isn't she?
Penny: Yes.
Penny begins to massage Reuben's shoulders while thinking of her fallen friend.
Reuben: I have to tell you something. Ruby, I trained her to fight Salem, but our sessions had a different purpose.
Penny stops massaging.
Penny: Oh?
Reuben: Contrary to what I told Winter; I did fight at the Battle of Beacon. I should have helped, but securing the Relic was number on priority. On that night, an unimaginable power rippled across the planet. Far more destructive than I can produce now at my current state. So, I decided to train her to harness her powers. Hoping that one day she could overpower and imprison Salem forever.
Penny then resumes rubbing Reuben's shoulders.
Penny: I thought it was going to be something sexual.
Reuben then looks at Penny.
Reuben: Why would I…
Penny: You are a male with superior genes. She is a female with silver eyed genes. A child that would be conceived from the two of you mating would have optimal results. It would make biological sense if she were to be enticed by your pheromones.
Reuben: She's too young. I like a more mature woman at my age.
(Atlesian Refugee Camp, Vacuo)
The violent sandstorm rages across the ground. The poor Mantle residents have makeshift tents provided by the weak central government.
Whitley: We should be in Mistral!
Winter rolls her eyes as she uses her powers to disperse the Sandstorm.
Winter: Vacuo is less fortunate than Mistral.
Willow Schnee walks out of her tent and towards her children.
Willow: If we were in Mistral, we'd just be reliant on our benevolent destroyer.
Whitley: I really don't care! I would be picking sand out of my shoes for the third time today!
A voice then cuts through the crowd.
Emerald: He did exactly what he wanted to do.
Emerald walks over to the Schnee family. She scans the faces of everyone present.
Emerald: You two killed Cinder.
Winter steps forward. She unsheathes her sword.
Winter: If you have come to avenge her, you'll follow your master to the grave.
Emerald raises her hands up.
Emerald: I'm not here for revenge. I'm nothing without Cinder anyways.
Whitley: Why should we believe you?
Emerald: Roman, Neo, Cinder, Hazel and Leo. All pawns to an end for Salem. Without the Fall Maiden and none of the Relics, she has been set back years in her plans.
Emerald takes a step closer, inching her chin under Winter's blade.
Emerald: You can take my life if it means that much to you. But Team RWBY is dead, my life's goal is complete.
Winter's eyes darken. She steadies her blade, wanting revenge for her sister's demise. A Faunus then leaps from atop her perch.
Ilia: Don't stoop to her level, Winter.
Winter then lowers her blade while looking at Ilia. Ilia strolls forwards and looks at Winter.
Ilia: It's not worth it.
Winter sheaths the blade and looks over at the Faunus girl.
Winter: Thank you.
(Haven Academy, Mistral)
Reuben arrives from Argus with Penny trotting behind him. He is let in by his door guards as he steps first into the main room. It's empty, emptier than it's ever been since he came to power. With the Deaths of RWBY, Taiyang has left the team. He still teaches because of the good money, but never talks to Reuben directly.
Reuben: Where is Everybody these days?
Reuben strolls through the empty Academy.
Penny: Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, and Jaune Arc are dead.
Reuben's boots echo through the room until he sits down in his chair.
Reuben: Go on.
Penny: Ilia, Sun and Elm are in Vacuo, dealing with the refugee camps.
Reuben reclines his chair, looking exhausted.
Penny: Nora, Ren and Oscar are in Vale, where I am expected to meet up with them.
Penny insisted on going back to the Academy on a tour.
Reuben: What about our Allies?
Penny searches through her files.
Penny: Headmaster Henry has set up a residence in Northern Mistral while Solitas is rebuilt.
He had managed to get some Faunus out before Atlas came down. There was many casualties, however.
Penny: The Happy Huntresses are also in Vacuo.
They had not lost a single member and is the 'legitimate' government of Atlas.
Penny: Winter Schnee is stationed in Argus but went to help her family in Vacuo.
Winter only agreed to work with Reuben, and preferred thousands of miles away from him and his Girlfriend.
Reuben: Enemies?
Reuben then grabs a pillow and a blanket. Switching out of his previous attire with his super speed. The young girl had listened well to his reports.
Penny: Salem is in her palace; Arthur Watt's status is questionable. Mercury Black and Tyrian Callows are in Vacuo with Emerald Sustrai rumored to be there as well. Hazel is in Northern Solitas, Neopolitan and the Ace-Operatives are in Prison.
Ironwood, the only name missing from the list.
Reuben: James. Is he among the living or the dead?
Penny stops for a moment. She scans all the reports. They found his guns and parts of his uniform in the remains of Atlas. But not a body.
Penny: Still unconfirmed.
Reuben sinks into the chair.
Reuben: I never wanted it to end like that. No-one is exactly scrambling for his remains at the bottom of all that rubble.
Reuben looks at his scroll. He swipes to his old files, himself, and James, before his beard. Back at Beacon Academy when he came with his men.
Penny: Ironwood would have wanted you to be better than himself.
Reuben: Right, do you know where the Atlas Relic is?
Penny shakes her head no.
Penny: It might have fell with Atlas into the Abyss.
Reuben switches off his scroll as Raven walks into the room. Dressed in a red and black, silk robe.
Raven: I think we should try and locate the new Fall Maiden and have a separate team go after the staff.
Raven then sits on Reuben's lap.
Reuben: I have something for you.
Reuben passes her Ironwood's fixed scroll.
Raven: It's just a stupid scroll.
Reuben: This one belonged to Ironwood. It has some files on it that you'd like to see.
Reuben takes back the scroll, he enters Ironwood's password. He pulls up two files. Silver Eyes and Project: Superman. Raven snatches back the scroll and presses on the Silver eyes file. A flurry of pictures come into view. Raven's red eyes widen as she recognizes the woman in the photo.
Raven: Maria Calavera, The Grimm Reaper.
