It was a busy week here in the jungles of Donkey Kong Country. A particular event that happens every year was slowly approaching. Every Kong, and every Kremling would practice day, and night up until the time to where they come together to go against each other for the title of ruler of the country. Although, Donkey Kong was already redeemed the ruler of the island, King K-Rool would not accept this fact, and would do anything in his power to gain control of the powerful orb known as the Crystal Coconut to conquer his enemies. The coconut was at stake here. Two teams. One winner to take the throne, and be ruler of Donkey Kong Country. That event...is the annual Jungle Baseball game. Everyone gets hyped for the game, except for one animal that feels that it is just as pointless as finding a needle in a haystack. "Candy? Candy?! CANDY?!" Bluster hollered. Candy rolled her eyes, and groaned as she knew what he was about to ask. "What do you want, Bluster? Can't you see I am trying to finish my work before lunch?" Bluster grabbed Candy's hand, and chuckled. "In a rush to go to lunch with the most eligible, the most handsome, the most...uh...richest ape in all of Kongo Bongo Island?" Candy slapped him on the side of his face, and yanked her hand away. "Yeah, I am going with someone like that. It's Donkey Kong. The strongest ape of Donkey Kong Country. He is taking me to a quiet spot for a banana picnic together. I can't wait," she said while blushing. Bluster just grunted. His hatred for Donkey Kong continues to rise above levels. He never really understood why Candy would fall for DK, and not him. "Ugh! Lunch with that loser?! Why of all apes him? And why does the island name have to be changed to Donkey Kong Country? It is so corny. I can give you way more than what he is giving you. He doesn't have anything to flaunt or impress you with except for that dumb crystal coconut. I work and make money. He just lays around all day stuffing his face." Few seconds later, the lunch bell had rung. Candy cut off the machine, and went to grab her lunch bag to go meet up with DK. "First of all, it is Donkey Kong Country now because he was appointed as ruler. What would you have named it if you were made ruler? Bluster Kong Country?" Bluster looked away. "N-no." "Being ruler is not easy. Having to watch that coconut all day and all night if he needs to. It is a very stressful job. Those bananas are what gives him the power to save your furry ass whenever you get into trouble. He is his own boss. You are just working in a factory your mother owns," Candy replied. Bluster gotten a little insulted by her words. It made him a tad bit angry, and he blew air out of his mouth to calm himself. "Besides, instead of worrying about Donkey Kong, maybe worry about the Jungle Baseball game that is coming in a couple of days. I bet you haven't even started practicing yet."
Bluster followed her outside of the factory, groaning, and complaining along the way. "Oh wow. Practicing for a baseball game that is supposed to depict on who is going to be ruler. If he is ruler already, why waste time with this?" He asked Candy. She just shrugged, and said, "It is what K-Rool wanted. Donkey Kong took the challenge. You know how he can be, and are you seriously following me?!"
"But a sissy baseball game?! Like come on. Only reason why he took that challenge is just to stroke his big ego just because he is the "superstar" of the game. He is the "ruler"," he mocked. Candy giggled at his behavior. She could tell that Bluster was turning very green with envy. "He took the challenge to prove why K-Rool should just stay in his place back in the swamps, and it is not him who is the superstar of the game. It is Tiny Kong because she has fast skills of climbing, and her batting is out of this world. Want to know why? Because she has been practicing. That's who you need to look out for, and practicing is what you should be doing if you want to keep your precious factory. If we lose, you won't be the boss of it anymore. You will be nothing, but a Kremling slave. See you after lunch," Candy said while waving back. Bluster was beginning to freak out. If their team did lose against the Kremlings, he would have to give up being the boss of the factory considering that K-Rool may take over, and have him work like a slave. In the slightest moment, he came to what he calls his sense of reality, and carried on. His factory was more important than the game, he refused to try to pick up a bat to practice a swing. At K-Rool's factory, K-Rool was on his throne, watching two of his henchmen, Krusha, and General Klump preparing themselves for the big game. Unfortunately, these two have brains like mashed potatoes. Klump could not throw the baseball properly, and Krusha couldn't even hold the bat correctly. K-Rool roared at them. "How are you two this simple-minded?! You can't throw this dam ball, and you can't even hold a bat! We go through this every year! It is the same procedure. You throw the baseball to Krusha, and Krusha? You swing this bat to hit it. Got it?" They both agreed to his guidance, and did what he had stated. Klump threw the ball softly to Krusha, but the ball barely reached him. Krusha swung his bat hard with his eyes closed. "Like this, your majesty?"
K-Rool growled. "How about...swinging the bat WITH YOUR EYES OPEN?! You can't see with your eyes closed, you knucklehead! What kind of throw was that? My mother can throw this ball faster than you! What has gotten into you two lately?! Do you not understand what happens if we lose against these fleabags again this year?!" Both Krusha and Klump stayed silent, trying to come up with an answer to please their fussing king. "Um...we will lose?" Klump answered softly. "Of course, you ninny!" K-Rool shouted. "How can you not comprehend the techniques of how to play baseball, but can very well understand enough on losing at baseball?! My reputation as a villain will be ruined. Ruined! Constantly being at the bottom of everything to that ape. Always coming in second place. It is starting to get irritating!" Krusha patted K-Rool on his shoulder to relax him. "Well, you know, I think from what I'm seeing, me and Krusha have improved overtime. While we were practicing, we finally figured out where first base is." K-Rool just sighed. "I hope you have since every time you both hit, you both somehow manage to go the wrong way...every time. Thankfully, I got a backup plan here if you both ever slip up which I have no doubt in my mind that you will." Klump saluted to K-Rool, and without even thinking about what he said, he took it as a compliment. "The reason why they are winning is because of that MVP of theirs, you know." Krusha and Klump gazed at each other in confusion. Klump took off his helmet, and scratched his head, and decided to go along with whatever K-Rool was stating as to not make him even annoyed than he already was. "Of course, your majesty," Klump said with a fake smile on his face hoping K-Rool will just speak the name of whom he was referring to. "Uhh...who?" Krusha questioned him. "Oh my go-I-you-how?! So you really have no clue who I am talking about, do you? Klump? Tell him, please." Klump began to sweat. He did not have a clue either so he just blurted out a name while anticipating that it may be wrong clear as day. "Dixie...Kong?" He said not so quietly to Krusha.
K-Rool bellowed. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW?! Am I like talking to myself here?! Tiny Kong! Tiny Kong is their MVP, you morons! I need new henchmen... We are losing because of her. That is their secret weapon to victory. If we can stop that secret weapon, then WE can be victorious, and all of Donkey Kong Country will be ours for the taking. Now, how are we going to do that you ask? No, don't even bother to answer that. Take heed of this fellas. We got a secret weapon of our very own that will counter what they have," K-Rool said while laughing menacingly. "They won't even know what will hit th-please! If you are going to ask me a question, I suggest you put that hand right back down!" Krusha slowly put his hand down, and looked down in shame. "Both of you get back to practicing. There is not much time left until the game starts.
