Berlin, Germany; April 28, 1945

Hell, it was the only thing Rottenfuhrer Hector Heinrich could describe the situation that was happening around him. Screaming, gunshots, explosions and death, everything is present, his SS camo uniform is littered and stained by dirt and blood including his face also.

His unit or currently what was left of it, is in the middle of engaging a russian unit that was advancing on their position earlier, they were only eight of them left against a few dozen red soldiers, they may be outnumbered but their spirits aren't broken yet.

A red tried to jump on him from behind, but Hector was quick enough and was able to point and aim his Luger at the russian before he was able to plunge his rifle's bayonet on him, and with a few shots from Hector himself, the red was already dead before falling the ground.

He then went back to glance at his sorroundings again, seeing his fellow comrades are now down to melee fighting after their ammunition ran out, he quickly hopped off from the rubble he was currently standing in and joined in the fray.

"C-Captain!" a voice called out, Hector then immediately turned his head towards the direction of the voice and saw his friend, 'Hartmann Gehwer', that was slowly getting outpowered by his russian opponent, his hands being the only thing keeping away the red's knife that was only a few inch from his face.

Instinct to save a friend immediatey kicked in as Hector immediately dashed towards his downed and friend and knocked the russian off from him, not fully done yet, he tackled the russian towards the ground and aimed his luger towards the russian at point blank range and fired.

The loud crack from his gun temporarily deafened Hector as the only thing that was on his ears was ringing, after a few minutes, the ringing died down and a hand was suddenly extended towards him.

Not bothering to look up, Hector grabbed Hartmann's hands and was slowly lifted up from the ground.

"You okay, captain?" Hartmann asked worriedly to his friend, but a smile from Hector answered all of his questions, Hartmann was then about to open his mouth to thank hector for saving his life but was immediately dismissed by a small wave from Hector himself.

"Thank me later, but for now we have to retreat and save our men." Hector finally spoke, before continuing "Come men, retreat, retreat, retreat!" Hector ordered to his last remaining men, he only got nods from them as a response.

As his men retreated, the russians did not bother to give chase as they all cheered in their small victory.

"Just wait for it." shocktrooper Erich Dintz muttered to his rookie partner 'Kertz Herman' as they observed the incoming T-34 russian tank that was slowly approaching towards their location, panzerfaust on Kertz hand, they were ready to stop this tank at the cost of everything.

After a few minutes of waiting, Erich immediately gave the order by raising his left hand and yelled "fire!", hopping out from their trenches, the duo ran towards the tank with a loud battle cry, in an attempt to get the tank's attention and distract it to give Kertz the time to properly aim his panzerfaust, Erich aimed his rifle at the tank and fired several rounds to it, luckily he managed to successfully distract it as it aimed both of it's turrets towards him.

Quickly taking the oppurtunity, Kertz aimed his panzerfaust towards the tank's side and fired, penetrating it's metal armor and creating a small explosion inside, killing the crew instantly.

Happy at his accomplishment, Kertz began laughing loudly but it was only cut short as Erich who he hadn't noticed approaching him earlier, suddenly grabbed his uniform's collar and dragged him towards their little hole they call trench.

"What the hell?" Kertz angrily asked Erich.

"sshhhh!" was the only response Kertz got from Erich as he placed his finger between his lips and made a 'be quiet' gesture.

There was silence between them for a few minutes, until a faint rumbling could be heard in the distance, waiting another minute, the rumbling slowly became louder and it took the duo a few seconds before they realized something, quickly peeking their heads over the trench, they saw T-34 tanks numbering about a few dozens all lined in column formations, there were about a hundred red soldiers accompanying each tank.

"t-that's one of their main advancing unit!" Kertz muttered under shaky breath as they both slowly retreated from their current position.

"In case the brew factory is attacked, I want Gurten's unit near that area to relieve the defenders as soon as possible." Brigadierfuhrer William Fritz said his plan to his lieutenants, they were currently inside an abandoned school and turned it into a temporary command base for the 29th division SS New Berlin, a table along with a map of the whole area is present in the room they're currently in.

"Understood" one of the lieutenants said as he saluted William and walked out from the room.

"Alright, now then-" William couldn't finish his sentence as he suddenly heard the familiar whistling of shells above from the soviet artillery.

"EVERYONE, GET DOWN!" William shouted from the top of his lungs as everyone in the room immediately got down below on the ground, after a few seconds, distant explosions could be heard, followed by the shaking of the building they're currently in.

After a few minutes of ducking and covering, the shelling finally stopped, much to everybody's relief.

"Everyone okay?" William worriedly asked, his voice strained from his shouting earlier.

Everyone then nodded in response, they then all stood up and removed any dust on their uniforms, after everyone was set, they all resumed to planning.

"Alright, now that everyone's ready, let's all get right back at the-" William was once again interrupted as the door to their room suddenly opened, much to everyone's irritation and confusion.

"What the hell is it this time?" William demanded the newcomer, anger visible on his voice.

"A-A... A s-stru... A.. struc" the soldier stuttered, his voice shaking and not understandable.

"SPEAK UP, SOLDIER, YOU'RE WASTING OUR TIME HERE!" one of the lieutenants barked at the soldier.

"U-Understood, a gate-like structure suddenly appeared northwest from our current position, in the Feiner district area!" the soldier quickly reported, trying to hide his cringe and embarrassment in the report.

There was silence among everyone in the room, the soldier gulped at this, after another minute of silence, one of the lieutenants spoke up, breaking the silence.

"Repeat it please." he ordered.

The soldier took a deep breath before repeating his report earlier, "A gate structure appeared in the Feiner district area." the soldier simply stated blankly, not caring for the consequences now.

"ARE YOU FUCKING WITH US? YOU LIA-" the lieutenant that spoke earlier screamed at the soldier but was quickly interrupted by William with a raise of his right hand.

"Show us where this gate is, I'll have my pistol ready in case you lied about it." William ordered plainly, cocking his Luger pistol in front of the shaking soldier.

"Yes sir." The soldier shakily replied as he led everyone in the room outside and towards the location of the gate.

"Do you think monsters would come out of it?" Obergrenadier Frank Lepper asked one of the soldiers posted with him to guard and observe the structure that appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the Feiner district area.

The soldier besides Frank turned to him and gave him a look as if he grew another second head.

"What? im just curious." Frank said to the soldier, after a few seconds of silence between the two, the soldier shrugged and continued to observe the structure in front of him.

They were currently thirty of them, and they were ordered to guard and surround the structure in case something came out of it, wooden barricades, sandbags and MGs were set up.

"Just be quiet." the soldier finally spoke in his harsh tone.

It was then that Frank finally noticed the pair of 'S' in the soldier's uniform, giving him an idea of why he was acting like that.

"You Waffen guys sure is strange." Frank muttered to the soldier, giving him an almost toothy grin.

"The same to you too, wehrmachts." the soldier irritatingly replied.

There was another silence between the two, but it was then interrupted as a screeching roar suddenly came from the gate, alerting every soldiers in the area, and there suddenly came out flying reptiles with riders on top of them, shocking and surprising everyone in the area, it was then followed by a group of large deformed monstrosities carrying clubs and axes, followed again by another large group of humans in armor, shields and spears?

Everyone was so shocked they didn't noticed the wyverns in the sky slowly descending upon the shocked defenders surrounding the gate.

It was the SS soldier besides Frank who brought everyone back to their reality as he opened fire his MG towards the flying lizards in the sky, killing one of them.

Everyone else following suit as they unleashed lead and hell towards everything that came out from the gate.

Frank noticed a large group of warriors, that came out from the gate formed a shield wall, seemingly in a pathetic attempt to protect themselves and their comrades from lead, he then brought his STG 44 up, aimed it at the warriors who had their shield up, and pulled the trigger.

"My Fuhrer!" an oberstleutnant burst inside the room Hitler and his generals were currently in.

"What is it?" Joseph Goebbels asked as everyone in the room including Hitler turned directly towards the oberstleutnant direction.

"We have a situation at the Feiner district area!" the man loudly reported.
