Summary: Gokudera and Haru made a deal... to get married?!

"Che" Gokudera spat as he threw his cigarette to the ground and stepping on it as he walk towards back to the ballroom.

People from the mafia were all in dashing suits and shimmering dresses. Glitters sparkled as light hit them when they walked by. Glasses were raised as stories were told and laughter was around him.

He hated it.

But what can he do? As the storm guardian attending important events with the tenth was part of the job, whether he liked it or not.

Today was the yakyuu-baka's wedding. And as the right-hand man, he knows that the boss would like him to be present and be on his best behavior. Tch, if it wasn't for the jyuddaime Gokudera would never plan on coming there.

"Yo Gokudera!" and speaking of the devil, the idiot made his way towards him. "Having a fun time?" he said with a huge grin on his face. Gokudera wanted to smash it.

"No" he said as he took a glass of wine from a waiter and chugging it all down at once.

"Hey, try to relax will ya. It's my wedding day slash rest day for everyone. Tsuna doesn't want anyone to be miserable on a fun day"

"Don't mind my business, I won't mind yours. It's your special day and I'm just trying to endure this for the boss' sake" Gokudera replied. Yamamoto sighed and simply smiled. It was typical attitude for Gokudera but still, he was giving himself a hard time by brooding. Hasn't change ever since middle school.

Yamamoto saw Tsuna coming their way so he placed an arm over Gokudera.

"Fucking let go or I—"

"Congratulations again Yamamoto-san!" Tsuna greeted. Gokudera snarled as Yamamoto smile widely knowing that Tsuna was the only one that could get him to shut up.

"Thanks Tsuna! Having a fun time?"

"Yeah. The place is nice and the food's delicious. Also, the ambiance is a little less… " Tsuna airquoted with his one hand. "Mafiaish and more homely. Reminds me of your dad's restaurant" Tsuna said with a smile. Yamamoto was still happily chatting while Gokudera was at the tip of throwing his bombs there.

"Reminds me, Gokudera met anyone recently?" Yamamoto asked. Gokudera was silently conducting his plan when he was caught off guard with the baseball idiot's question.

"What the fuck?"

"Dated anyone yet, Gokudera-kun?" Tsuna asked. Now he couldn't cuss much since the boss was there. He gritted his teeth while glaring at the rain guardian. It was his fault for bringing up such a topic!

"I'm too busy with work Jyuudaime. Women are a waste of my precious time"

"You say that since you haven't had a girlfriend" Yamamoto said.

"Because it's a waste of time, baka! Didn't you hear me?!" Gokudera was pissed while Yamamoto continued beaming his huge smile. Tsuna sweatdrops.

"But don't you have anyone in mind?" Tsuna asked. Both of them stopped and turned to him.

"Any person you might want to be with or maybe someone you like?" Gokudera stares at his boss.

"You should try looking for someone you like. It's not good for you to be always alone."

"But my job is protecting you Jyudaime!" he whined. Yamamoto shakes his head while stifling a laugh whereas Tsuna was giving off an awkward smile.

"Maa maa, he's already the boss of the vongola. Inherited the whole underworld, strongest of all bosses and student of the world's greatest hitman. I think Tsuna can protect himself from now on"

"Y-ya-yamamoto is right, though you didn't have to word it that way" he said shyly. Yamamoto just grins. "I know you guys are my guardians but I also want you to be happy for yourselves. We're already in the mafia so I just want someone to get us grounded from this crazy world."

Tsuna saw from his peripheral view that Kyoko and Haru were happily chatting by the dessert area. He instantly smiled that didn't go unnoticed by the guardians. Kyoko turned to see Tsuna looking at them, blushing and smiled to reply.

"And that…" Yamamoto whisphered to Gokudera's ear "Would be the look of someone in love"

He patted Gokudera's back so hard that made him stumble to the front.

"Why you little-!"

"And now we'll have the first dance to our lovely couple of the night!" the host announced.

"That's my cue. See ya!" he waved goodbye and jogged over to the dance floor.

The newly wed was at the middle of the room as the host motioned them to take each other's hand. The lights dimmed and the music started playing. Yamamoto and his wife stared each other's eyes with wide grins on their faces. Few minutes later more couples were dancing on the dance floor. Tsuna and his wife, Kyoko, were also dancing at the side.

The night was perfect. No signs of enemies, guns, bombs or any mafia activity to ruin the event. Which was unpleasantly boring for one particular person. Gokudera was at their table, alone. Gritting his teeth as he watched the oh-so very slow dance of every love-dovey couple in the room. After a few more drinks, he got up and made his way to the exit.

On his way out an untimely person bumps in front of him with a plate of cake.

"And sht just happens"

A giant splat of blue and pink icing met Gokudera's coat and a surprised brunette.

"G-gomen Gokudera-kun!" Haru placed her food on a vacant table and tried wiping the cake off Gokudera. He wanted to yell at the stupid woman but with the alcohol in his system, he didn't even bother if it was an enemy or not in front of him.

"What? Blind for the night?"

"Hahi! I didn't notice you were going out. And I didn't mean to waste the food" she said as she continue wiping his clothes. He stared at her intently. Thinking hardly, trying not to let the alcohol cloud his thoughts.

"Hey, stupid woman." Haru raised a brow and puffed out her cheeks.

"Ha-Ru! After all these years, Gokudera-kun still is stupid huh?" she mused. Gokudera ch-ed as she stifled a laugh.

"Why you ain't on the dance floor?"

"Huh? Oh, I've already danced with a couple of guys earlier so I wanted to rest and eat for the time being" she said.

After all these years, Gokudera still can't believe how the woman accepted her defeat so lightly. When Tsuna confessed to the sun guardian's sister, he expected the brunette to be sad, depressed, to be just utterly miserable. For years, she chased the back of the world's greatest mafia boss. Planning to marry him once they got out of college. But what surprised him the most was by the time the news reached them, she wasn't utterly miserable. It was obvious she didn't hold up when she heard it but she was silent like a mice.

The two of them studied at the same university since they're the only ones with a higher IQ than the rest of their gang. Most troubles he encountered back in college involves her dragging him to it. And he was the one who was helping her get out. So for a time, he knows what the woman was actually like.

"Anyone you're with tonight?" he asked. She raised a brow but didn't look.

"Not anyone in particular, right now. I was with Chrome, I-pin and Lambo earlier. I-pin and Lambo are busy eating while Chrome vanished 10 minutes ago. Don't know where she went though"

"Probably to see Mukuro" Gokudera said to himself.

"What's that?"

"Nothing. Maybe she went for a breath of fresh air. She hates crowds."

"Hmm" she nodded to agree.

When Haru seemed to remove some of the cake (though not the stain) she patted his chest and beamed a smile.

"There! Just get it washed after okay?" Gokudera glared at her as she continues to smile.

She was about to leave when Gokudera spoke.

"Do you still have feelings?"

Haru stopped on her tracks and turned to him but his back was facing her.

"Feelings for what?"

"The boss"

Gokudera turns to face her with his hands in his pockets.

"Tsuna-san? Hahi! Tsuna-san has Kyoko-chan!"

"So? Do you still have feelings for him?"

"What are you saying Gokudera-kun! Haru's feelings for Tsuna-san is what of a big brother. I could always rely on him." she said with a smile. Gokudera moved closer to her.

"Oh really? Then why don't you have a boyfriend yet?"

"Boyfriend? Well, none of my exe's were the 'one'. I haven't had 'that' distinct feelings from any of them."

"What fucking feeling?"

"Of being in love! Hahi Gokudera-kun. Haven't you fallen in love yet?" he backed away an inch from her. Once she knows that he hasn't really fallen in love (or had any girlfriends from the past) it'll be the end of him.

"Long time ago. Can't remember actually." he answered. Haru placed a hand on her hips.

"Seriously Gokudera-kun?"

Gokudera turned and made towards the exit.

"Come tomorrow at my office at noon. Don't ya dare be late" he said and left the room.

"HAHI?!"

If Gokudera had earplugs, he'd rather shove it in her throat.

"What's this all of the sudden?!" Haru shouted as she stares at a piece of paper.

"That is the deal I made" he said with a smug smile.

"A deal to get married?! What happened Gokudera-kun? Don't tell me you're jealous that Yamamoto just got married. Are you really that desperate?"

"I'm not!" he slumped back to his seat and massaged his temples.

"I just want Jyudaime to feel that I'm fine, by myself. But he thinks that I need to get someone in my life."

"Then just tell him you don't want to marry."

"Then he'll constantly be worried about me!" Haru rests a hand on her hips. And here she thought she was the self-centered one. "Then why marry? Why not be fake boyfriend/girlfriend?"

"Too long. And Jyudaime would still be worried"

"Why would Tsuna-san be worried?"

"Because he'll know we'll be fighting and with his hyper intuition, he'll know it's fake"

"Then it's the same with a wedding!"

"It's not because we're legally binded, stupid." Haru shakes her head in disbelief. "Why me?"

"Because you're the only one I can trust with this kind of job."

"There are a lot of girls who would love to throw themselves at you to become your fake wife"

"Obviously it'll look fake since I can't stand those kind of people. I need someone who I can tolerate… like you." Haru puffed her cheeks in anger.

"It's easy. We'll just show Jyudaime that we're happily married then after a year we get a divorce. He'll know that I'm not suitable for anyone or to get married. Then he'll feel at ease with my life."

"I think you'll just make him worry more with that kind of thinking"

Haru stares back at the paper and read the contract again.

"Are you sure about this Gokudera-kun?"

"I planned this out perfectly"

"Okay." Haru sits on the chair that was infront of Gokudera's massive table.

"What you written here is that we'll be married for a year, we can't tell anybody about the contract—"

"ANYBODY!"

"Anybody!" Haru repeated then sticks her tongue out. "Then, yadayada reasons, cannot be terminated under any circumstances within the duration of the deal?"

"That means none of us can back out"

"Geez, you make things soo complicated Gokudera-kun. Are you sure about this? Cannot be terminated under any circumstances?"

"Yes. Within the period of our deal."

"Even if we fight?"

"That makes more of a reason for me not to really get married" Haru shakes her head and sighs.

"Okay, I'll agree. Under the conditions I'll add"

"Conditions?"

Haru motioned to Gokudera to give her a pen. She started writing at the half blank space of the paper.

"Once we get married, both of us are responsible with each other. That means we are wife and husband, though acting as real ones. We must do everything what real couples do."

"Wait wait, what real couples do?" now he gets a weird feeling inside.

"Yeah, like I'll cook our meals when you're at work, we go out every weekend, we go on vacation trips, we'll sleep…" and here he was thinking something entirely different.

"In short, we'll be living together"

"What?!"

"Duh. Do you know any married couple living in different houses?" he opened his mouth to answer but Haru beat her to it.

"Do you want to make Tsuna and the others believe we're married?" she asked again. Now that shut him up.

"If one of us needs the help of the other, one must immediately respond to it"

"Oh, you mean like getting out of trouble. Like back when we were in college" a blush appeared on Haru's cheeks.

"M-maybe. Only if it's important!" he smirks.

"Lastly, since both parties will be legally binded that means they must now call each other by their first names. That means no more calling of stupid woman"

"Or bakadera"

Once Haru finished writing the conditions, she signed the contract. Gokudera did the same.

"Deal?" he asked and placed his hand in front of her.

"Of course"

ooo

After two months of planning for the wedding, plus the time Gokudera spent upon purchasing a house for the two of them (he lives in a condominium), they finally announced to the famiglia that the two of them were finally tying the knot. This inevitably led to a roar of congratulatory greetings from everyone, especially from their closest friends. Yamamoto and Ryohei kept saying how well Gokudera has done (and which he almost replied with his bombs) and Tsuna being overly happy for his bestfriend/right-hand man. Even Gokudera was happy for the fake plan. Kyoko and Chrome hugged Haru and congratulated her for the wonderful day. I-pin and Lambo even argued with Gokudera for taking Haru away from them.

The day before the announcement, Gokudera and Haru actually went out to buy engagement rings. Haru almost didn't want to come since, even if everything was fake, she wanted something genuinely thought of. And she wanted Gokudera to pick it out for her. But since Gokudera had simply told her he'd buy the most expensive one (without actually thinking it over) because he doesn't know what to choose from, she opted to go with him.

Everything was planned for their fake married life. Haru was in charge of the wedding while Gokudera handled the house they were going to live in. For the days after the wedding, well… they decided to just mind their own business. Gokudera thought that one year with the hahi woman would be easy since he tolerated her for 4 years. He'll just figure out how he'll lessen the woman's weird antics and fetishes.

The day of the wedding came and Gokudera wanted to fucking go and leave the damn party. Every famiglia (who were friends to the vongola) and who weren't part of any mafia group (other words: their normal friends) were chatting and murmuring while waiting for the arrival of the bride. Gokudera himself was an impatient person so he kept on tapping his foot and checking his watch. It was already past 10 minutes since they gathered.

"Get a grip will ya?" he heard at his back. His ears almost wanted to pop out from hearing the voice who suggested it.

"It's damn late." Gokudera replied to the rain guardian.

"It's just been 10 minutes Gokudera-kun. And Kyoko-chan texted me a minute ago that Haru was almost done" Tsuna said with a smile. Gokudera forced a smile to lessen his boss' worry.

"Thank you Jyudaime"

Better be ready woman, he thought.

And speaking of the devil, the person at door announced the arrival of the bride. Everybody went back to their seats. The silverette's best man, Tsuna together with the groomsmen Yamamoto and Ryohei were also beside him excited for the arrival of their friend.

Gokudera was on his best character today as so not to embarrass himself infront of the mafia and his boss. His silver hair was slicked back nicely while wearing a highly tailored white suit with a rose on the dress pocket. Obviously the one to be the main man of the day, he could feel the stares of every person in the room, especially the unsubtle rabid fangirls within the famiglia.

Funny thing, he and the hahi woman had one last conversation on the phone last night.

"Ne, are you scared?"

"Scared? Of fucking what? Don't tell me someone threatened you?! Fucking sht, someone's already planning on ruining the wedding?!"

"Hahi! That's not what I meeeant! I mean the wedding. OUR FAKE WEDDING."

"Why would I be scared of a fcking wedding?"

"Cuz obviously…" the line went silent for a second.

"… we'll be tied to each other"

"Yeah, for a damn year"

"Soo you're not scared?"

"Of you? Obviously not. But living with you… I have second thoughts" Haru could feel him smirk over the line.

"Hahi! What are you saying Gokudera-kun?!" and Gokudera could imagine her puffing her cheeks out.

"I'm going to be a great mafia wife, you know! Since I already prepared to be back then, I'm ready now." She said with a puff. Gokudera felt this tiny twinge on his chest, and he hated it.

"I guess you will"

Now that he was standing in front of the altar, his boss and now his best man on his fake wedding, he was thinking that 'what if': what if he wasn't the one standing here today?

Just then, the doors slowly opened. The bridesmaid, who was composed of mixed people (people from the mafia and normal people who weren't in the mafia) were walking in and Kyoko-chan, being the Maid of honor, followed suit. Ryohei was trying to hold back tears as his sister walks down the aisle while both Yamamoto and Gokudera actually turned to Tsuna. And as expected, even after a year of being married with the sun guardian's sister, he was still blushing like crazy. Then the flower girl was skipping and throwing flowers around. And with the main highlight of today's event, Haru was walking in with his father.

Everyone was smiling and taking pictures as she walk the grand aisle. Two of the bridesmaid, I-pin and Bianchi were already crying. Kyoko-chan also had tears on her face. Tsuna and Yamamoto were smiling brightly as their friend walks in.

Haru was covered with a long silver veil. Her hair, though short was curled and braided with small white flowers around her head. She was wearing a long white gown with silver/white roses embroidered on it while holding a bouquet of white roses. Even Gokudera didn't expect how she'll look like. Haru had told him that she was making her own wedding dress and he's astonished how she could make something within two months. Even he hated to admit it but she was fucking gorgeous. When Haru and her father got to the center, he gave one last hug to her daughter and placed her hand on Gokudera's. He nodded to Gokudera with a stare saying treasure my daughter look. He knows the old man since middle school and up to college. He even told him that he was glad that it was Gokudera that she was marrying.

When Gokudera turned to Haru, she had this small smile on her. But what caught his eyes was the small curve at the side, she was smirking at him.

"What?" he whispered to her.

"Nothing. Just glad that I made you blush today" she grins. Gokudera could feel the heat in his ears. It was rather hot when she came in.

"It's because of the damn weather" he whispered back. He held her hand tighter than he expected. He could feel the small giggles from her as the heat in him was rising up.

The two was obviously the main attraction of the day. With their appearance, nobody was even close on stealing their spotlight.

The officiant began the ceremony. It was a long hour of him just talking about couples and married life. Gokudera wasn't even paying any attention. The only thing running in his mind was their intertwined hands. With a touchy person like Haru, you'll think that Gokudera have gotten used to holding hands with her. But he wasn't. She used to drag him around back in college so inevitably she'd be taking his hand. But now, it was actually intertwined. The heat hasn't left him and he could feel it in his ears. Adding the amount of people around him wasn't making it any easy. The cold sweat was dripping beside his face so he subtly wiped it with his free hand. He even couldn't feel his hands anymore! Haru was simply staring and listening but she was holding to his hand firmer every time. Was his hand sweaty? Or was he just nervous because of the wedding? Because of what everything's happening?!

Then Haru shaked their intertwined hands. Gokudera turned to see her standing and that she and the officiant were looking at him. Everyone at the audience were also staring. Sht.

"Uhm, you may now state your vows." The officiant repeated. He immediately stood up and let go of her hand to take the speech he made on his coat pocket.

"E-ehem" Gokudera coughs to his hand. He went over his speech dozens of time but until now he realized that all he had written were from very old, rusty traditional vows he looked up on the internet. The cheezy promises and I love you's were too rubbish but that was all he could find. And right now he wasn't sure what he was supposed to say. Whatever. He's gonna wing it.

"I used to believe that love is blind, literally blind. I was the one who never believed at such a thing. With all the problems in the world, why would I waste my time over one person? People come and leave so why bother? But I…" Gokudera looked straight to Haru's eyes.

"But with a person like me? You never left. There were days we had our fights, our challenges and arguments over the boss but… you were still there. Showing that bright smile. So I vow to always, protect that smile. More so to be the reason for it."

The crowd then had that unified awws and some were dabbing their faces. Bianchi was crying bucket of tears while holding on to a fake Reborn, proud of his little brother. Tsuna wiped away a small tear that formed on his eyes. Ryohei was even crying and punching the air for joy.

The officiant then turned to Haru.

"I used to remember the days when we had our own little adventures. I was so sure that you hated all of the times I dragged you but… you stayed. You don't know how much I value your presence, even when we were fighting" Haru laughed. "I was happy that time, when I was down on my lowest, even in your busiest time… you always made time to come and pick me up. You don't know how much I love you, Hayato"

The cries grew louder. Mostly the girls were wailing (mainly because the storm guardian was now off their list)

But the person who was shocked the most was the groom himself. He was thinking whether it was the effect of mixed embarrassment and adrenaline rush that his heart was beating faster than normal or that he was expecting that every word, especially the last line, that Haru said was true. The two of them did say that they were going to make it seem real so… what was it?

"Do you, Miura Haru and Gokudera Hayato, pledge to create a life of mutual respect, compassion, generosity, and patience toward each other as you grow together in years?"

"We do."

"Do you pledge to recognize each other's individuality and celebrate each other's uniqueness as a strength in marriage? While at the same time, will you guard one another's weaknesses with understanding, support, and inspiration?"

"We do"

"And do you pledge to share the love you have for each other with all living beings? To be a couple that lets their marriage radiate into others, making their lives more beautiful because of it?"

"We do"

"Haru and Hayato, if you will face each other and repeat after me."

"Hayato, I give you my life. With all that I am and all that I have, I honor you"

"Haru, I give you my life. With all that I am and all that I have, I honor you."

"The rings please" the ring bearer comes up to the two of them and gives them each a ring. They placed on each other's fingers as the officiate finishes the ceremony.

"With the power that is vested in me, I announce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

Gokudera slowly lifts the veil that showed a better view of her. This was it. The thing that finally binds them together.

Haru closed her eyes, waiting for him to make the movie. And even with his shaking hands, he cupped her cheeks, leaned down, slowly closing his eyes and kissed her.

It wasn't extravagant or magical but he was surely taking her lips fully. He turned to the other side to kiss her more. He was surprised that he didn't even try to resist nor Haru herself, but he wanted it to make it last a little bit longer.

The crowd was actually at fault that kept Gokudera occupied other than the kiss and he wanted to throw his bombs out. Once he opened his eyes, Haru also slowly opened hers, looking straight at him and started laughing. And like a virus, it immediately affected him as well. The two of them were giggling like crazy as the crowd roared around them.

The two of them made their way to the aisle and out of the room. The next room beside theirs was the reception room and it was amazing.

High up chandelier, vines and trees displayed as if it was an outdoor party. The tables were decorated with silver roses, dozens and dozens of flowers around.

"Sooo?" Haru asked. Her arms wrapped around his arm as he kept himself from thinking of throwing his bombs around while also internally telling himself that it was just the stupid woman in a dress.

"So what?"

"Hahi! Haru is the one who organized the reception you know!"

"Why bother? You could have asked me to hire an organizer. Saves you time"

"Because!" she pulled him down and closed her face to his ears that made his heart run a mile per second. "Even if it's fake I wanted it to be special"

"Plus, you did say I could do anything I want!"

Haru drags Gokudera towards the center of the room.

The reception was a mix of crazy and humorous with Reborn and I-pin as hosts. Even if some of the guests didn't know that they were inside a room full of mafia gangs, hardly anyone noticed since everyone was enjoying themselves.

Haru and Gokudera's close family and friends congratulated them. It was even more awkward with Gokudera when Haru's parents started hugging him and welcoming him to the family. Haru was stifling a laugh when she saw him struggle. Bianchi was pleased to have a sister-in-law like Haru. She was even excited to teach her techniques on both fighting and loving (in which Haru was both happy and scared at the offer)

"Congratulations Haru-chan!" Kyoko-chan greets her as she hugged her bestfriend. Tsuna was right behind her.

"Congratulations on the wedding Gokudera-kun" he greeted Gokudera. Tsuna gave him a pat on the shoulder and a huge smile. Gokudera smiled widely that boosted his confidence. "Thank you Jyudaime"

"Yo!" Yamamoto was waving as he made his way towards them.

"Congrats Gokudera! You finally popped the question to Haru. Thought it was going to happen a little bit later" he said as Tsuna and Kyoko agreed.

Haru and Gokudera both raised their eyebrows, confused.

"Anyways, where to on the honeymoon eh?" Yamamoto asked as he wiggled his eyebrows. Tsuna instantly blushes as Kyoko giggled internally.

"Honeymoon?" Haru repeated.

"Yes yes! Where do you plan on going Haru-chan?" Kyoko-chan asked.

"Hn, just a vacation by the beach." Gokudera said with a slight smug tone. Haru's eyes widens.

"Honeymoon by the beach eh. I'm guessing Haru planned it?" Yamamoto turned to Haru. "N-no!" she said waving her hands.

"I was the one who planned it, stupid!"

"No way! You hate vacations! Tsuna and I usually have to force you to take one just so you could have a break from work"

"Well I planned this one, got it?!" The three of them laughed.

"Maa maa~ Please take good care of him, Haru. If you have a hard time, we're just a phone call away" he said as he gestured to the three of them.

"What do you mean hard ti—" Gokudera's retort cuts off.

"Yup!" Kyoko agrees and with one more hug, the three of them went back to their table. Haru and Gokudera went back to theirs.

"Beach?" Haru asked.

"Yeah? Any problems?"

"Well no. It's just that…" Haru was cut off when a close friend of hers greets them.

Honeymoon. One things that he NEVER mentioned to her in the last two months of their preparation. When he feels the subject coming he avoids it by bringing a new topic to discuss or plain teases her about anything besides THAT. He knows all about what couples do in honeymoons and he's also not so sure that even Haru might be too pleased about what's happening during that time. So, he just planned a simple vacation by the beach. He did buy a rest house near the sea last year if he ever needed to get a break or a place to stay when someone's targeting him.

After the party, he could finally get some rest from all this fake craziness around them.

Reborn announced that it was time for the newlyweds to leave. They were almost at the exit when Reborn had said one last reminder to Gokudera over the microphone for everyone to hear.

"Gokudera, please be gentle with Haru." He said with a cute smile. Even with a teenage body, Reborn never changes. Gokudera's whole body went red and he immediately dragged her out of the room.

"Where are we going?" Haru said as they kept walking towards the elevator.

"The roof. Our ride's there."

As they got in the elevator Gokudera pushed the 16th floor button and the doors closes. The reception room was at the ground floor so he was a bit impatient for their 15 floors journey. They were still holding hands but he did keep his a little bit loose. So in his understanding Haru is the one still holding onto him.

After a minute, Haru broke the silence. "Hayato, what do you mean our ride?"

They were still at the 6th floor but he immediately felt hotter when she called him by his first name.

"The chopper's there. That's our ride"

"Oh" she said and the silence continued.

By the 10th floor the elevator stopped and the doors opened. No one was infront. Gokudera immediately closed it when Haru saw a man running towards them.

"Wait! Open the—"

"Too late" he said in a bored tone. The doors closes and they continued going up.

"Why didn't you let the guy in?!"

"He was too late. Plus he was still far. He could ride the second elevator or after we get off this one"

"You're so mean! What if it was an emergency?!"

"Then he could ride the other one."

"What if it's occupied?!"

"This one is occupied!"

The two kept on fighting and arguing about Gokudera's manners. Even with all their bickering and childish banters, they kept holding each other's hand.

The elevator dinged as they got to the 16th floor. The wind immediately hit their faces as they saw the starry night. And there at the center of the roof was a chopper waiting for them. Haru was trying to cover her face from the strong wind but Gokudera immediately dragged her towards their ride. He helped her get inside the chopper by carrying her huge dress. After, he got to the driver's seat and started the chopper.

"You're driving?!" Haru shrieked.

"You see anyone else?!" and they immediately sore off to the sky.

ooo

It took them almost an hour to get to the rest house. Gokudera was preparing to land when he noticed Haru sleeping.

When they landed Gokudera turned the engines off and turned to her.

"Hey… hey… " He kept on nudging and poking her but she was still sleeping.

"Hey…Haru… Wake up, we're here"

He still wasn't used to the whole first-name-basis thing so when she called her by his earlier, it was still alien to his ears. After a few more times of waking her, he gave up and carried her. And as expected, bridal style.

"Fits the day huh?" he whispered to himself.

He kicked the front door open and tried opening the lights.

"Sht…" He was a having a hard time reaching the switch with her in his arms. He almost got it until another hand beats him.

"There" Haru said as she switched the lights. The room lit up and they were welcomed by the ocean breeze.

"Why didn't you tell me we're here?" Haru asked as she rubs her eyes.

"I did, stupid!"

"Lower your voice. Geez"

She released herself from the silverette and stretched her arms.
