Hi readers! This is my very first fic and I'll have to ask you all to mind any mistakes I make since I'm still learning and all but I really wanted to make a season with Don as host 'cause why not? Plus I really want to explore some new dynamics and interactions after all the point of this is to do the characters some justice and with that I'll be changing some aspects of certain characters but without further ado please enjoy and don't forget to leave a comment :)

Chapter I: Intro

After the success of the Ridonculous Race, Don was called upon shortly after to host the next season of Total Drama. After recently getting off a phone call with the executives he was shocked on how much freedom they let him have.

"The location is determined but they're letting me handpick and cast and name? I guess I can't afford to let them down...literally." Don tells himself.

"If only I had someone to co-host-".

Right then and there Chef Hatchet bursts through the door of Don's house.

"Did someone say co-host?"

"Actually I did, how did you know?" Don questioned.

"Call it a hunch." replied Chef.

Thankful for his new co-host, Don recaps his current situation to Chef.

"Now that I've got you all caught up I've gotta start deciding who I want on the show. Since this is a special case I'm not accepting any audition tapes. All I've gotta do is send out the emails."

"So we can do nothing for now but wait, right?" Chef inquired, hoping for a little R and R before doing another season for the disaster-fest that is Total Drama.

"Yep, so let's just chill and wait for the replies. We can adjust the cast based on our replies." Don assured Chef.

2 Weeks Later...

"Those two weeks were the best time of my life! Now I'm ready for anything those ungrateful teens throw my way." Chef beamed, clearly benefiting from his time off.

"I hope that wasn't all talk because we're about to meet with them in a short bit." Don snarkily replied.

The charter bus containing the cast members arrived shortly after, giving Chef and Don enough time to gather their final thoughts.

"You know what you're getting into?" Chef warned Don.

"Heh. Don't worry about me, I know what I signed up for". One by one, all of the contestants got off the bus only to be greeted by Chef and their new host.

"Before we start with intros we gotta make sure all of you are here so I'll read off your names while Chef here marks you off." Don said as he read off the list of names.

"Rodney"

"Lindsay"

"Sierra"

"Tyler"

"Samey"

"Scott"

"Noah"

"Trent"

"Katie"

"Sadie"

"B"

"Dawn"

"Leonard"

"Bridgette"

"Eva"

"Ezekiel"

"Cody"

"Max"

"Ella"

"Brick"

"Dakota"

"Anne Maria"

"Now that all 22 of you have been accounted for let's go to where you guys will for staying for your time in the game" Don said while all 22 teens got back on the bus.

"Welcome everyone to the new and improved, Total. Drama. REBORN!" Don announced with open arms.

"Uh, why is the name Total Drama Reborn?" questioned Tyler.

"Yeah, all the names of previous seasons were tied to a theme. What's the theme for this season? Where will we be staying?" grilled Sierra.

"I'll be happy to get to those questions once we reach where you'll be for your time in the game. I'm sure you'll love it." Don then flashed a wink to the contestants afterwards.

"It's probably just another lousy island." Anne Maria groaned.

"I really hope it's somewhere nice for once." Lindsay hoped.

B simply shrugged his shoulders, hoping to reserve his thoughts until after they arrived at their destination.

"Alright everyone, here we are! Toronto, Ontario! The location of your lodging and where the show will be taking place." Don announced.

Most of the cast responded positively with cheering and sighs of relief to go around.

"Phew, I've finally caught a break. No mutated animals in sight." sighed Scott.

"I'll have more opportunities to showcase my evil in the city!" said a delighted Max.

"Hold up, what's the catch? Chris didn't treat us well so what makes you think I'm going to believe you?" asked a reasonably suspicious Noah.

"You know what they say, actions speak louder than words. Once you see where you guys will be staying you'll be eating your words." assured Don.

The bus then stopped in front of a grand hotel with an excessively large fountain and a plethora of bellhops on first glance. Anyone who doubted Don's words instantly took them back as the contestants were either crying tears of joy, had their mouth gaping wide open or in rare cases, both.

"Here is where you guys will be staying for your time in the game. Welcome to Le Château Du Roi. you can call it The Chateau for short."

"You guys have been so through so much under Chris' tenure as host so I thought the least I could do was give you guys a nice place to stay while you're in the game." soon after Don finished a loud shrieking noise pierced the ears of everyone on the bus.

"That's probably just the brakes..." he thought to himself

Everyone off the bus, single-file" One by one, all 22 contestants were off the bus but the noise still continued.

"EEEEEEEEEE!" squealed Katie, Sadie and Sierra.

"Thank you so much!" all three girls said in unison.

"Thank you girls...now what was I gonna say?"

"The theme of the season." reminded Trent.

"Oh yeah, thanks. So the theme of this season is redemption. What better way to usher in a new era of Total Drama then giving the people who never won a chance to win?" finished Don.

"So you're calling us losers?" complained Leonard and Ezekiel.

"I wouldn't be concerned with that if I were you. After all, you both have a habit of not making it past the second week." Don smugly finished.

Leonard then proceeded to hide his face in his wizard's cap and Ezekiel sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes as the cast (minus Eva and Scott) tried very hard to stifle their laughter. Samey then came over to comfort Leonard.

"Don't worry too much, with my bad luck I'll probably be the one to be sent home first" reassured Samey.

"Really? You seems so upbeat and positive, people like you tend to last longer."

"I was only able to be this way by breaking free of Amy's grasp."

"Oh yeah I remember seeing that on TV. Too bad I didn't last long enough to see it in person..." Leonard then muttered to himself before walking away.

"Poor thing..." Samey thought to herself.

"Come on you guys, we have to get inside before I run out of time for this episode." Don beckoned as the cast hurried inside the hotel.

As the cast made their way inside Don proceeded to show them a list with their names and room numbers.

"These will be your boarding arrangements for your time in the show." Find your name and grab your key."

The arrangements were as shown:

101- Lindsay and Dawn

102- Ezekiel and Leonard

103- Tyler and Brick

104- Ella and Sadie

105- Samey and Bridgette

201- Scott and Rodney

202- B and Trent

203- Anne Maria and Dakota

204- Max and Eva

205- Cody and Noah

206- Katie and Sierra

"No way!" Katie whined.

"This can't be..." Sadie gasped.

"Why are we separated? We can't be without each other or we'll die!" Katie wailed.

"Don't you know the best things come in pairs, like us?" Sadie reasoned.

"So won't you let us bunk together? Pleeeeeeeease!" The BFFFLs pleaded.

Don cleared his throat. "Absolutely..."

The two girls hugged each other and began jumping up and down.

"Not." Don finished. "All boarding decisions are final."

"Aw..." The girls groaned.

Sierra put a hand on Katie's shoulder. "It's okay Katie, me and you will get along great! Besides, if me and Cody can handle being in separate rooms you and Sadie can too."

"Okay, I guess it won't be too bad." Katie realized.

Ella walked over to Sadie. "Don't worry Sadie, you'll have plenty of chances to spend time with Katie. In the meantime we can have plenty of fun together."

"Well...okay..." Sadie sighed.

"Now then, go to bed because tomorrow morning you've got a challenge to prep for."

As the contestants made their way to the rooms Don had one last warning.

"By the way tomorrow's challenge is a double elimination so sleep tight. It just might be your last..."

As he walked off snickering the contestants quickly dispersed off to their rooms. Who will be eliminated alongside Ezekiel? What will tomorrow's challenge consist of? Who will drive each other crazy first? All will be answered in the next chapter of Total. Drama. REBORN!

Author's Note: I left this short because I wanted it to serve as a nice intro chapter.
