Ok I know I have several stories going but I seem to keep up with them. I just finally watched the episode where Matt's heart is broken by Gabby ughh I am mad at her. He is the perfect guy literally and I'm mad at Sylvie as well, who was there for her when she thought she was pregnant exactly but anyways I just had to rant lol
This takes place in the episode where Severide asks Casey if he had a death wish but let's forget that and say Casey ends up in critical condition will Dawson come home, will she stay and will Casey make it?
Chapter 1:
Severide stared at his good friend being placed on the stretcher as Sylvie was trying to revive him and get stats.
Mouch: This looks bad
Kelly: Come on Sylvie please hurry
Sylvie: I'm trying , Emily you drive and I'll be in the back , Severide you coming?
Severide looked over at Boden and Boden shook his head yes.
Bolden : We will be there as soon as shift ends in 30 minutes
Sylvie: Come on Kelly
Kelly jumps in and slams the door as they take off for Med , one thing comes to mind, he takes his cell out and texts Gabby , Matt had told him she rarely texts back right away but right now he can only text .
Kelly: Hey , Matt's in a bad way, trying to revive him, in critical condition don't know results yet headed to Med, just thought you should know.
He sends the texts and prays that she will read the text as soon as possible because honestly this looks really bad worse then the time with his head injury.
Minutes fly by as Kelly's phone buzzes and he glances down
Gabby: I'm on the red eye back please keep me posted and I know if he is unconscious please tell him I love him.
Kelly nods as his eyes get watery deep inside he knows its bad and he thinks of Matt like his brother
Kelly: Come on Matt, you know this is not funny you keep doing this to us, please fight, there is a lot of people who love you
Gabby boarded the plane , she was lucky to get a flight to Chicago with no transfers. She broke down in tears a couple of times as she recalled the last conversation she had with Matt...
Flashback
Matt: So you are leaving me?
Gabby: It's not like that
Matt: When you don't get your way, you run
Gabby: Stop. This is a great job opportunity.
Matt: So a job is more important then a marriage is that what you are saying?
Gabby: I love you but it's not just the job I want my own baby and I get why you don't want me to risk it but it's my choice
Matt: I never was enough for you , no matter what I did just not enough huh
Matt had tears in his eyes, he hated being or feeling week , as he looked into the woman he loved most in the world, she had tears coming down her beautiful face.
Gabby: We both want different things , you know I love you but this is what I have to do
Matt: Fine. Uhh I am leaving, just make sure you are gone before I get back.
Matt looks at her one final time and heads out the door slamming it behind him.
As soon as Matt gets in his truck he breaks down...
Gabby is left stunned and she now has just noticed his wedding band he left on the counter. Gabby falls to her knees as she cries ...
Flight Attendant: Excuse me Miss, would you like a beverage?
Gabby shakes herself out of the flashback she smiles and nods her head.
Gabby: Just a water please
Flight Attendant: Here you go, and only 2 more hours we will be in Chicago.
Gabby nods as she stares out the window praying that Matt makes it..
