Voldemort looked around the room, greedy and evil. His eyes searched every corner of the tiny shabby room until they were fixed at large tube that mounted in the center of room. His face turned into a malicious smile, like a child who found a house full of toys and candies. In the tube there laid a man, pale skin and malnourished. He was suspended in the thick green liquid that filled the tube. Voldemort moved forward, calculating his every step, wondering if it is safe or not, to approach the tube. When he reached the tube, he started examining it. His red eyes glinted green from the reflection of the liquid. Suddenly, the smile on his face widened assuring that he found what he was looking for. He took his wand out, his snakelike pale hands shaking in excitement. He waved it to the length of the tube. Something happened, the liquid inside the tube trembled and bubbles were forming inside it.

"Ah, finally found you—" hissed Voldemort, his voice trembled with excitement. "Grindelwald." He laughed his demonic laugh, suddenly the body inside the tube jerked, gasping for breath. Cracks appeared in the tube, liquid started pouring out and the body levitated upwards and settled in front of Voldemort. The man opened his eyes, they were black and irises were crimson red. The eyes concentrated on Voldemort and examined him carefully.

"How did you find me?" said Grindelwald his voice hoarse and appeared a little strained.

"Took me long enough, you never actually mentioned your hiding spot to anyone." Said Voldemort, his eyes curiously watching Grindelwald.

"Who are you?" said Grindelwald, he was pacing the length of his room looking for something. He seemed very weak, even his new body was not his.

"I am Voldemort." He hissed, a little agony his voice. He was in disbelief because no one dared not to know him. Grindelwald was now going through the books that were kept on the table. Voldemort was not impressed by the ignorance.

"What are you actually looking for?" asked Voldemort.

"My wand." Said Grindelwald. Voldemort smiled like he was waiting for this question to be asked.

"Your dearest friend, Albus Dumbledore has the Elder Wand." These words caught Grindelwald's attention and for the first time he looked carefully at the visitor.

"Figures." Said Grindelwald in almost a whisper. He seemed proud of his friend's achievement. "I was sure he was the only one who could defeat me." He added. Voldemort was not liking this praise of Dumbledore.

"Well for now, you can use this wand." Said Voldemort, he took out a wand, it was obsidian in color. Grindelwald took the wand and carefully examined it, moving it in his fingers.

"11 inches…. thestral hair….and rosewood" Grindelwald was talking to himself. "It will do the work but I will need my wand someday." He added. He moved the wand effortlessly, covering the length of his body. "Mutatio." He spoke and sparks flew out of his wand covered him. Suddenly his body started glowing and changed into the actual body of Grindelwald; his golden blonde hairs, blue eyes and his looks which made him look triumphant. But he was still weak and frail, he was tired and sat on the table. Voldemort chuckled in enjoyment. Grindelwald gave him death stare, he body might be weak but his blue eyes had all the power in the world. Voldemort might have winced but immediately grimaced.

"Waiting for more than thirty years can make anyone frail." Said Voldemort. "You don't eat, you actually die this time." He added in a mocking tone.

"What year is this?" enquired Grindelwald.

"1995." Grindelwald was clearly awed. "I need your help." Said Voldemort. He was finally coming to the point, Grindelwald's lips arched into a tiny smile making it clear that he knew his savior's intentions.

"What you need." He replied. He stood up again watching Voldemort carefully. It was clear none of them actually trusted each other. Tension in the room was like the force of repulsion of two strong magnets when put together.

"I want the Magic world and only one person is standing in my path." Said Voldemort, he was almost shouting in anger. Grindelwald scoffed.

"Albus is persistent as usual." Grindelwald knew the problem that was standing in the way of Voldemort, it was his friend. "Although, he would have become a geezer by now." Said Grindelwald. "But my plan to destroy the muggles is still in action." He laughed, his laugh was more ominous than Voldemort's, full of loathing and hatred. Voldemort slits opened and his face was showing the satisfaction. He had found what he was looking for. Now, no one can stop him, with Grindelwald on his side he was invincible. He doesn't have to worry about Dumbledore anymore and Harry Potter is just a child.

"I am curious." Said Voldemort, his gaze fixed at Grindelwald. "How you were able to live and fooled Dumbledore." There was curious edge in his tone. Grindelwald looked at him.

"I too have many questions to ask about you also." Said Grindelwald. "I never thought anyone other than—" he stopped talking, his eyes were filled with terror. "This means Greta must have died." His voice broke as he said the last word. "I will kill the entire bloodline of the person who killed her." Anger and frustration were seeping out of him like sweat.

"No, she lived her long life and died last year, after your defeat she joined force with Dumbledore and you were forgotten." Said Voldemort who was pleased. Grindelwald hands were clutched into fists, he was shaking with fury.

"How could she." He said furiously, his blue eyes full of anger and pain.

"We will take revenge." Added Voldemort assuring Grindelwald.

"We will." Both Grindelwald and Voldemort cackled and their wicked laugh was the evilest thing in the world.
