Summary:
Kunisaki Shugo is losing kisses as fast as he's losing teeth.
Once bitten, twice shy.
Or in Shugo's conflicted state of affairs: Once bitten, twice shy; bitten twice more, wanna die.
He'd been robbed his lip virginity by strangers online. In The World. The first kiss with Aura, and the second wasted on Reki. Aura was attached to The World, and Shugo never met the real Reki outside the game.
Shugo was unconscious when Aura kissed him.
Kissing Reki was a random accident.
He'd kissed a girl and a guy, yet at his anxiety's roots, the problem was kissing, period. He rather stand back (or better yet, stand close) and stare at Ouka's voluptuous knockers…or hit on Rena from behind.
Kissing dug up headaches he didn't miss. Of his parents' divorce. Of Rena being taken so far away. And of the boy who didn't keep his promise to be the first to kiss him.
Not that he'd turn down a kiss from Ouka or Rena if the situation arose.
Shugo always remembered the promise he and the friend in the apartment next to theirs made, before his mom and dad separated. A free trial.
Hayami Fumikazu. Falling into a coma and not waking up until after the Kunisakis moved was a unique direction of relieving himself of the commitment to kiss Shugo! Shugo realizes he wasn't the reason, but it felt that way!
The Twin Blade sucked his lower lip through the gap where he'd lost a tooth.
Reki gave his fellow administrator Balmung a factual report. The kiss left a bitter, rotten, lemony taste.
Reki or Shugo's? Neither would admit culpability.
First kiss from a guy.
Second kiss overall.
What would Kazu's kiss have tasted like?
