Fatima was chained to the wall, kicking, screaming, and crying as she was violated repeatedly. She desperately wanted to be in her partner's arms. She cried out as something hit a nerve, hard. Then she saw Rountree come in. He put a finger to his lips. She nodded a tiny bit as he snuck up and pulled the other man into a choke hold. Once he was unconscious, Rountree helped her get free. She didn't think twice about hugging him as she cried.

"Thank you," she mumbled into his shirt.

"It's okay, baby girl. Come here, I got you. You're safe now. Hey, let's get you dressed, okay?" he murmured into her hair. She sniffled and stood up, trying to use her arms to cover her body. Rountree pulled his shirt off and passed it to her. She pulled it over her head. "Hey, it's okay. Kensi's going to come here and give you your bag, okay? That way you can get dressed, all right?" he murmured. She sniffled and hugged him again.

Once she was in the hospital, Fatima was holding Rountree's hand with both of hers. She refused to let go as she clung to him.

"Okay, sweet girl, we need to draw some blood," a nurse aaid delicately.

"It's okay, sweetheart, you can roll up your sleeve, listen to the nurse, please," Rountree whispered. Fatima sniffled and rolled her sleeve up.

Once she was sitting in the bed, wrapped in her favorite blanket, holding her stuffed animal, Rountree opened his laptop and put on her favorite show. She smiled and happily watched.

"Can we go home?" she asked quietly.

"Soon, sweetie. We can go home soon, okay? But right now, you gotta stay here," he whispered, stroking her arm.
