Percy's POV:
Today is a special day because today is the Award Ceremony from the one, the only, The Gods! I took a shower in my cabin and put on a light blue shirt that says "Camp Half-Blood". I put on dark blue pants and a dark blue jacket which has a gray hoodie. 'God I have too much blue on me' I head out of my cabin and see Chiron looking at me.
"Hello my boy!" Chiron said.
"Hey Chiron. How are you?" I replied.
"I am doing amazing! Now let's head towards the buses so we can attend the ceremony" He said giving me a warm smile.
I agreed with him. The war took a toll on all of us but finally it's over. We can have peace and enjoy our lives with the people we love. I head towards the entrance of Camp and I see 14 buses filled with Campers and Romans. I go to the bus where all the councilors are and take a seat next to Annabeth and the 6. Yes I said 6. Leo was sadly lost, but not forgotten.
"Hey Percy! Are you ready for our Gifts?" Jason said.
"Yup" I replied, popping the "p".
"What do you think we will get?" Frank said.
"Maybe cool armor? I always wanted to look cool and have this dramatic effect when I summon it" Jason said.
"Like Father, like Son" I muttered. Everyone laughed while Jason rolled his eyes, but gave a small smile.
"Well I just want to explore the world after all of this," Hazel said with Frank shaking his head in agreement.
"Well one thing is for sure is I want to live my life with this wonderful person here" I said and kissed Annabeth forehead. She started to blush then hit me in the shoulder.
"Whatever you say Seaweed Brain" She replied.
After that I started to drift off and talk to Annabeth. Surprisingly after TWO Wars, we are finally at peace together. I looked at my window and my eyes started to close as I took a nap.
Dream starts...
"Are the plans ready?" A very deep voice which strangely had a down to earth effect on him .
"Yes soon the plan will be executed" A voice that seems to comfort you. It felt like I wanted to get closer. I didn't even realize that I stepped forward, but that was my worst mistake. As soon as I took that step my whole body became numb. I then felt insects crawling all of my body, digging themselves inside my skin. After that was done I felt a cold gust of wind that hit my back which made my whole body freeze. I couldn't take it anymore so I used all my strength to take a step back, then it all ended as quick as it began.
"Good as long as we follow the plan mother will be happy and you will have your end of the deal." The deep voice said. They begin to laugh and the scene begins to fade...
Dream ends...
I slowly woke up and I saw Annabeth sleeping on my lap. I smile at how peaceful she looks. I completely forgot about the dream and began to wonder if this will be a big threat. I hope it isn't because I just want peace and not be brought into this. I start playing with her hair when the bus comes to a sudden stop. We have arrived at a parking lot and on my window the entrance of the Empire State Building. Home to the Gods and Olympus.
"Hey Annabeth wake up! We are here" I slowly shake Annabeth and she begins to wake up.
"Hello Seaweed Brain." She smiles and gets up. I grab her hand and we begin to get out of the bus.
30 Min later and a lot of Elevator dings later...
We are all gathered up and see the Gods on their throne. I see A LOT of demigods, but I knew there could have been more if I didn't get a bloody nose! Of course I sent hundreds of demigods to their deaths because I had a bloody nose. Maybe Leo would have been alive if I didn't let that blood drop down. Remembering Leo's death always brought us down. I could have saved Leo if I didn't stand just watching. Leo sacrificed his life to weaken Gaea so we had a chance to defeat her. If I was quick enough I would have been to stab Gaea in the heart and not waste time seeing Leo all bloody and bruise up. The screams of Leo's voice still haunts me till this day...
"DEMIGODS!" A Thundering voice was heard (haha I'm so original with that joke) which came from Zeus. He was wearing his typical black and stripes business suit, and his electric blue eyes (hahah I did it again) that seem to just shock you when staring at it for too long. (Ok that was the last one).
"We have come here today to give awards to these 8 demigods who dealt with many challenges, and a loss one, to bring down Gaea. We, the Whole Council, all agreed that we are forever in your debt and for that I thank you." All the Gods nodded in agreement with an amusing smile. Everyone gasps. The Whole Council agreeing on something? What is this an alternate reality?
"Jason Grace! Please step forward!" Zeus said. Jason stepped forward from his seat and kneeled in the middle of the council.
"We can all agree that my son is an amazing hero who deserves a gift worthy of him. That is why we agreed on making you a God!" Zeus asked and at that moment you could see Zeus have fear and hopefulness in his eyes. The reason why? I don't know, you are reading my POV. Go to Zeus POV if you want to find out.
Meanwhile in Zeus POV…
Man I hope Hera doesn't find out my other son. Also that Nymph looks hot! Maybe I can use my charismatic and handsome features to woo her. Yeah that sounds like a great idea! Oh shit Hera is looking at me! Better pretend that I'm happy and really thoughtful right now!
Back to Percy POV...
Jason was awe struck and didn't answer but he looked back at Piper. His face showed that he was scared to leave Piper. He looked back at the council and was about to say something before Aphrodite interrupted.
"Don't worry Jason, I made sure that Piper would get the same offer. That goes with everyone else as well. I don't want to see one of my favorite couples be broken up because you became a God." She told him which Jason smiled, unknowingly feeling a weight lifted from his shoulders.
"Then yes, I agree with Father." Jason replied. Then he was blasted by a beam of yellow light from the sky. Then a sudden flash appeared and showed the three fates.
"All hail Jason Grace! Minor God of Air, Wind, Storms, and Heroes! Sacred Weapon his Gladius and his Sacred Animal his Venti!" They all said together which seem to echo the room a little bit.
One by one everyone got their gifts. Piper became Minor God of Persuasion, Emotion Insight, and Heroes. Her Sacred Weapon is her Dagger and her Sacred Animals Dove. She was happy and jumping up and down. She hugged her Mom then walked back to her chair.
Frank became Minor God of Shapeshifting, Archery, and Heroes. His Sacred Weapon is his bow and his Sacred Animals is everything. Yeah I know it's kinda cool. He was honored and gave his Dad a smile then nodded.
Hazel became Minor God of Precious Metals, The Mist, and Heroes. Her Sacred Weapon is her Spatha and her Sacred Animal is horses. She also became a princess of the underworld. When she is at the underworld she gets a boost just like me in water. Her face was very red from all the eyes looking at her. She looked at Hades and told her something that I could not read, but based on Hades' expression was something that he was very happy with which was weird seeing that expression. Heck I didn't even think he could have that expression.
Nico became Hades heir and was now truly The Ghost King. He can control Ghost and since he is the heir of the Underworld he can control everything there and is only out ruled from Hades himself. He hugged his dad and to see Hades's face was priceless. He of course was shocked and didn't really know what to do until Persephone whispered in his ear then Hades hugged Nico back.
Reyna was given Partial Immortality and was named as the Eternal Protector of New Rome. She then got a new cloak that can make a dome around her person or multiple people. This can withstand nearly everything, but there were downsides. Only she knows and she gave a simple nod and went back to her seat.
It was then Annabeth's turn. She hops out of her chair and kneel In front of The Gods.
"Annabeth Chase! My daughter has given my statue back and has done many things for Olympus. The council has agreed to make you the lead designer for New Athens. This place shall house all the Greek demigods like New Rome." Athena said, smiling proudly at her daughter. Annabeth couldn't even say a thing and just nodded her head which made the 8 of us laugh. She was then given a chance to be a Goddess but she refused, which made me happy that she would do the same thing I did to her. She then agreed for partial immortality, which she was more than willing to take. Finally it was me.
"Perseus Jackson! My son, you have saved Olympus not once, but TWICE! You achieved more than any hero to ever live. We once again are willing to make you a God, but this time you shall have a seat in the Olympus Council." Poseidon said to me with a huge smile. His eyes seem to move like the waves crashing into each other. So smoothing that you could get lost in the eyes forever. So much emotion swirled around like a hurricane. I then heard many gasps. A lot came from the Romans saying "again?" I would have laughed if I wasn't so stunned at their offer.
"Father I am very happy that you all have given me the same offer once again b-" I was caught up with Poseidon jumping up and down and saying Finally over and over again. "But" and from that his smile soon turned into a frown. "I would politely decline and ask for two wishes instead" I also politely which was weird to me, but hey it needs to be done.
The council seems to talk to each other's minds and discuss each other. Finally my Father spoke up "We have agreed to and we swear on the River Styx to give you two wishes as long as it is within our power" thunder was heard and all the Olympus Council said the same thing.
I clapped my hands and said "Great now for my first wish is to give back Hades and Hestia their thrones back since they deserved it a long time ago and they are the eldest out of the Gods." Zeus smiled and snapped his fingers and two thrones were raised from the ground. A throne, that was between Poseidon And Apollo, was obsidian black as the main color and had skulls on the front of the arm rest. It had a nice black marble portico trim to diversify the color. Gems were on the headdress of the throne.
Hestia throne was between Hera and Demeter and a nice autumn orange color. In the middle was a scarlet red color that looked like the hearth. Gold was on the sides of the throne acting as an outline. From the place where I was standing, I could feel heat radiating off the chair giving me warmth and comfort.
Hestia jumped up front her bench near the hearth and hugged me saying thank you over and over again. I hugged her back and once we broke the hug she turned into her Godly light and sad down on her throne. The hearth seemed to grow and was raging, lighting up the whole area.
Hades was too shocked and went up to me and shaking my hand. "Percy whatever you need just ask me and I'll be there for you" I nodded and he grew to his Godly height and sat down on his throne. The room seemed to get darker and colder for a second and then it got back to normal.
"Last I wish for the people who fought both wars to have partial immortality. They all deserve some type of gifts for their service. They are heroes just like us." I said, further discussion The Council were bickering and had unnecessary arguments, then they agreed as long as they swore their loyalty to Olympus and follow The Council demands."Son at least have partial immortality so you can be with Annabeth" Poseidon begged, I agreed because I wouldn't know what I would do if Annabeth wasn't in my life. I was immediately engulfed with a sea green light around my body. I felt a slight tingle throughout my body and then it was gone.
Everyone was still surprised at what I did and a few minor gods smiled at me while the rest still had shock expressions. Annabeth seems to be sad and her eyes seem to hold anger which I didn't know why. I sat next to her and she kissed me on the cheek. Saying a good job and giving a forced smile. The demigods that fought two wars got their partial immortality and they all dog piled on me. To say my back will hurt tomorrow is an understatement. I think my whole spine got snapped!
~~~Time~~~Skip
After the whole ceremony and many "amazing" speeches from Zeus, we all got invited to a party at Camp Half-Blood hosted by the one the only Dionysus and The "Awesome" Apollo! Everything was great. The food was amazing and my mom was invited and baked over 100 dozen blue cookies. She congratulated me saying she was proud of me, though when I told her my battle against a primordial she nearly fainted. After that I help her move all the cookies into a long table. As soon as I turn away I see a line longer than The Great Wall of China. They must have heard me talk about these cookies that I said were better than godly food. The look on each person's face when they took a bite. I heard some gods willing to pay my mom if they had this delivered to their palace. Great my mom is becoming Uber Eats.
Then the dancing began. Oh I wish I could escape from that. So many minor/major goddesses and demigods wanted to dance with me. Heck this line was longer than the Blue Cookie line. I hope Annabeth doesn't get jealous of this. I literally got forced! Like there was a 7 year old with a dagger pointed at me! A 7 year old! That was scarier than any monster and divine being I've ever faced.
Then my hero, Piper, comes out of nowhere and screams, "My Boyfriend is flat out drunk and thinks that I am a brick! Oh look what he is doing now! He's fucking making out with a brink!" As soon as she finishes that line everyone around me stampedes to the area where Jason is making out with a brink. I sign out and was beginning to walk away when someone pulled my arm.
I turned around to see brown eyes look at me. She didn't have any makeup on and was wearing a white and red dress. The white part was from here waist to her neck. The red part was to her waist all the way to her feet. It was sleeveless and had flowers as it's design. That's when I noticed it was Hestia. "Hey Percy, can I dance with you?" She ask with a shy smile shown through her face
"Of course we can." I agreed and gave her my famous lopsided grin. We danced to the song that Apollo put which was a slow song. Now if Annabeth sees me she will be super mad at me. I hope she doesn't flip me again.
"Hey Percy, thank you for what you did back there. After I gave up my throne I lost a lot of respect. No one barely knew me and even more didn't talk to me. Only my family and a few gods and goddesses ever did, but no demigods. That was until today. When you gave me my throne back so many people went up to me and wanted to know more about me." she said with a small smile. What she said was insane to me. Why would anyone not talk to Hestia? Not only was she the eldest of the family, but the one he kept the peace around the place. Without her the Gods would have faded a long time ago.
"I'm glad that they are doing it. You deserve respect even without a throne, also don't tell anyone but you are my favorite Goddess." I replied to her, giving a smile.
She looked back at me and looked at my eyes and said, "That's sweet of you Perceus, if you are ever down or need help I'll be there for you." She smiled back.
"Please only my enemy's call me Perseus and you are not my enemy." She nodded back as we kept on dancing. We eventually stopped dancing when she said she was sleepy. I told her goodbye and she flashed herself to her palace.
Once she left I went to one of the many bars in the party, and no I'm not going to drink. I'm going to drink something even better, and that is Apple Juice. Truly a godly drink. Honestly I believe that blue cookies and apple juice was the mortal version of godly food and beverages. When I walk towards the bar I notice someone sitting there. It was a girl with black spiky hair with a black leather jacket, which was also spiky. Her dark blue jeans had random rips in them. Skull earrings were on as she drank something. Once I got closer I noticed what the drink was. It was alcohol!
"Thalia! Why are you drinking that? You are two young!" I ran towards her and pulled the glass away.
"Hey! What wa- oh it's only you." She replied, trying to grab the glass from my hands.
I push her hands away from the glass. "No Thailia, you cannot drink that." I pulled the drink away and looked at the bartender. "Can you take this away?" I smiled at the bartender. He smiled back and nodded, taking the drink away.
I turned back to see her eyes slightly close as her shoulders were down. Her cheeks showed dried tears and red puffy cheeks, "Why are you drinking?" What happened?"
As I said, she began to cry. I hugged her and tried to calm her down. I had to make both our clothes dry or else it would be like we took a dive in a lake with our clothes on.
"Art-Artemis kicked me o-off the Hunters until I was proven wo-worthy to come back." She sniffed between her words. Her hands are trying to wipe away tears from her face, as the tears drop into the dirt. Her mouth had the biggest frown as her eyes were nothing but a dull blue. I've never seen her in a state like this before and it honestly made my eyes watery.
"Why would she let go of her best hunter, especially the Lieutenant of the Hunt." I exclaim, trying to find reasons.
"When the Hu-Huntersand A-Amazons were tasked to cap-capture or kill Orion we failed. So many H-Hunters and Amazons d-died. We were 53 hunters, but now we only h-have 11. Artemis didn't know who to bla-blame so she took her anger on m-me. She blamed m-me for their deaths." She stuttered as she hugged me even tighter.
"Hey hey hey! Listen, it's not your fault. I have so much blood in my hands. Not a single day passes by without me thinking about their deaths. But that's not your fault. They knew the risk. They knew what they were going to face. It's not your fault that they died. Artemis is just angry at the moment and once she realizes what she did, she will let you back in." I told her, never breaking off the hug. It rubbed circles around her back trying to stop her tears.
I pulled away and looked at her blue eyes, "I swear on the River Styx that I'll help you join The Hunters again. I know how much it means to you and I'll be there for you." Thunder boom in the sky, sealing the deal.
"Thank you Percy." She said, wiping her tears with her hands.
"Now let's take you to your cabin to sleep. You are somewhat drunk." I grab her hand and lead her to her cabin. "Now sleep."
"Will do captain!" She fakes salutes. I shook my head, chuckling a bit.
~~~Time~~~SkipI walked around the party wondering where Annabeth could be. That's when I heard 4 screams. I quickly went to where I heard the screams and dashed towards the forest. I followed the noise to see 1 guy unconscious on the floor while the rest were fighting a dragon. It was a dragon I've never seen before.
This dragon seems to be blending in with the shadows. It was as if it was invisible and this made it hard to see how big the dragon was. A deep purple was pulsing around what looks to be the body of the dragon. The deep purple was an outline of the invisible dragon and showed what looks like a tail. Then as I looked up I saw the eyes. Oh how I wish I didn't see them. Four yellow eyes looked at me while the other four of them were concentrated at the 4 kids. Something about these eyes made my back feel cold. Like the wind was touching my back as if it was being pushed around. Then all eight eyes all looked at me and I was pulled in.
I didn't even know what was happening. I slowly took steps towards the dragon. As if a rope was pulling me toward this beast. Then I heard Annabeth scream and I was out of the trans.
The dragon claws tried to crush me but I quickly rolled away. I went to grab Riptide and uncap the pen. When the pen quickly turned into a sword I pulled the sword to my right chest and held the sword straight. The dragon's attention was all on me and I didn't even think about the others. It was as if it was just me and this dragon. The deep purple of the dragon scales slowly lit up. When it lit up, it showed the rough, spiky scales of the dragon as each one overlapping one another. Weirdly the deep purple wasn't covered in scale and it looked more like a liquid substance. The wings were so big that the trees started to fall down. The spike like wings seem to carve into the ground. The shadows seem to grab on to the beast to infuse it with it.
It then flaps its wings and knocks me down. I saw some campers and hunters shoot at it but it all stopped mid air. The shadows seem to hold on to the arrow as it shakes violently. The arrows then burst, shattering wood and Celestial Bronze and Olympian Silver flew around the area. Some hit my skin as small cuts were littered around my arm and legs. I quickly got up and tried to charge at the dragon, but then it opened its mouth and reached towards me. I dodged and slid underneath the dragon as I brought my sword up hitting its neck. I rolled out of the dragons head and tried to cut the dragon neck, but only found out that my blade only scratched it. The part underneath it's neck was bleeding deep purple. I took a step back and saw the deep purple pulsing violently. The power crashes into me as if a wave washes up.
I tried to take a step back but found a wall behind me. It was the shadows and it seemed to push me ever so slightly towards the dragon. Spikes began to erupt around me, but all I noticed was the screams of the campers, romans, hunters, and the immortals at me. All screaming my name but then an eerie silence surely appeared. This silence was weird because at first nothing could be heard, then a high pitch noise started to get louder and louder. I felt my ears bleed and when I tried to put my hands in my ear trying to stop the pain, it did nothing.
My last hope was to end this all and try to kill the dragon as fast as possible. When I walked towards this beast, I felt like pushing a big Boulder. Every step was harder than the last, yet I was prevailing. When I looked at the dragon's eyes, all 4 eyes were looking at me. I was no longer interested in the 4 kids, but me. We were staring at each other in an endless staring contest, then the dragon smiled showing it's razor sharp teeth.
"Finally I found you!" It's voice reminded me of a male voice. It's voice was deep which resulted on the earth shaking. Then my body was full of chills as the hair in the back of my neck stood up. I couldn't take it anymore. I charged at the dragon, but this time I didn't hear eerie silence or the boulder stopping me. Instead it felt like they were helping me. Adrenaline was pumping into my veins. I raised my swords and stabbed my sword to the deep purple color. Finally understanding that it was part of the Dragons blood. The dragon screams into the night sky causing the shadows to flicker and try to grab onto something. The liquid slowly dripped out and quickly entered me.
I felt the liquid enter my mouth as I tried to scream but no noise escaped my mouth. I didn't drown thanks to being a son of Poseidon. My eyes started to give out and I was on my knees. My muscles felt like collapsing and my heart was pumping at unhealthy speeds. My eyes slowly close as I saw the dragon turn into a small child. I closed my eyes and heard footsteps come closer towards me. My brain started to shut down while my conscience drifted to the land of Morpheus realm.
