The story begins a very long time ago after the Fall, where the angels lost their place in Heaven after Lucifer rebelled against the Throne and fell in love with another angel named Lucinda. But this story doesn't follow them. It follows another angel that had fallen as a result of this rebellion, Amelie. An angel who spent a lot of time alone after the fall, but eventually found her way back to Daniel and company and spent a lot of time with them. The whole point of Daniel and the angels that stayed with him was to find Lucinda every single time she was reincarnated. A task that wasn't as hard as it seemed due to the magnetic pull the angels felt that led them towards the destination of their cursed fallen angel sister. The ultimate goal was to find a way for Daniel and Lucinda to reach their happily ever after without the latter bursting into flames. At least that was her goal until she disappeared from the group without a trace. The reason behind this was unknown to the group, but that story is about to come to light.

During her time with Daniel and his group, Amelie began to experience feelings she had never felt before for one of her fallen angel brothers. A charming, mischievous, and cunning fallen angel named Cambriel. At this point, she didn't know that what she was feeling was love. A feeling that was forbidden for the angels, but not so forbidden for the fallen angels. Until this point, Amelie has never spent a lot of time around Cam, which wasn't so uncommon. Before the Fall, all of the angels pretty well knew each other, but given the sheer number of them didn't always directly interact with each other. And after the Fall, all the angels had gone their separate ways. Some choose to stick together from the start, some coming together after time, and others remaining on their own. She was one of the ones that found herself among other angels after some time of being on her own. In some ways, she wished that she had never found companionship among her fellow fallen angels. If she hadn't she would never have met the one angel that currently plagues her existence and drove her to the darkside out of heartache.

Amelie can still remember the day that her heart broke in vivid detail. That day is where this story actually begins to build up to how her life came to be in the present day. The weather was perfect. A sunny day without a cloud to be seen in the sky for miles in any direction one wished to look. The backdrop to this lovely day was a village in Cannan, where the sun bore down on anyone that dared to venture into its reach. In that village was where Daniel met the current incarnation of Lucinda named Lait and Cam had fallen in love with a mortal woman named Lilith, a musician and singers with wild red hair, that he had planned to marry. Witnessing him proposing to this women had led Amelie's fall into darkness. She had given up on love and wanted an escape and/or distraction from her broken heart, which Lucifer had happily provided for her. He kept her busy with various missions and tasks that she successfully completed. In return, she didn't have to feel the pain of her broken heart nor interact with the person that caused it. At least that was what she had been told and had held true for a very long time.

Overtime, she was able to climb through the ranks into the inner circle of the most trusted demons; only stopping when there was no higher position for her to achieve. She kept a low enough profile outside of the circle that none of the angels outside the circle really knew where her loyalties were, which was a benefit for Lucifer since she was the only one of his followers that he trusted to be able to infiltrate the group of angels that were always around to protect Lucinda. Many believed that she was aligned with the Throne and a few had no idea if she had actually chosen a side. The few who did know had either seen her in Hell or had seen her wings. They once were a color almost white with a light lavender touch, but had since turned a plum purple color with gold mixed throughout. She was the perfect angel to be a mole on the inside that no one would ever suspect and lead to the cursed angel being brought directly into Lucifer's clutches. Sure, some of them that she had considered her friends would be mad or upset. Honestly, she didn't really care as none of them ever really seemed to care about her. Not the way that they cared for each other at least. In her eyes, she was never really apart of that group in the eyes of Gabbe, Daniel, Arianne, Roland, or even Cam. She was an outsider who was only allowed with them because she was their fallen angel sister.
