Chapter 1: Living up to the Reputation

Everything was normal, that is until an alien known today as Superman saved a plane. Five years in the future and many superheroes who were either born with powers or had an accident became heroes. People would only dream of having powers , that is until one day in China, Qingqing City a baby gave off a light . Ever since regular humans were able to have powers known as quirks. Now about 90 percent of earth's population has powers whether you were an alien, had a quirk, was a metahuman, and everything in between. My name is Izuku Midoriya and this is the story of how I became the greatest superhero ever.

America July 15, 20XX, 15 years prior

In a hospital a woman was giving birth to two sons. "Keep pushing Mrs Kent!" was said by the doctor delivering the baby. "You've got this baby," said a man. He was 6'3 and was 235 lbs of pure muscle. His name was Clark Kent. The woman began grunting before a cry was heard in the room. The doctor proceeded to hand the baby to another doctor to do everything needed. "Time of birth 11:07 AM." a doctor shouted. " One more left honey, keep pushing." Clark said, trying to encourage his wife. The wife began grunting one more time before another crying voice was heard. The doctor proceeded to pick the newborn baby up and hand him over to the other doctor to do everything needed. "Time of birth 11:08." said the doctor. "Congratulations Mr and Mrs Kent you have two beautiful baby boys, would you like to hold them." Both of the new parents nodded before a doctor handed them each one of their children. "So what do you want to name them Diana?" asked the husband. " How about the firstborn being named Izuru and the other Izuku?" suggested the wife. "Sounds good to me," said the husband.

A few hours later some of the parents' closest friends came into the room, their names being Billy, Bruce, John, and Barry. " They're so cute, what's their name?" Said Billy holding one of the two boys. "Izuru and Izuku." responded Diana, in regular clothes. "I'm going to drop the boys off with their sitter, and then we're going to get something to eat, wanna come with us?" asked Clark. The men nodded. "Alright bye." said Clark leaving.

A couple hours later Clark, Diana, John, Bruce, Billy, and Barry were in the restaurant, when Bruce's phone beeped. " Hello. Okay. On our way." Bruce said before hanging up. " The legion of doom is causing trouble downtown and Aquaman requested full league help." whispered Bruce trying to not cause attention. "Then let's go," whispered John.

The group proceeded to get up and leave.

Metropolis 10 minutes later

Black Manta blasted Aquaman in his arm, burning it with Aquaman grunting in pain. He was outmatched as there were 13 villains and one hero, him. "Where are they?" Aquaman questioned while dodging the cheetah. His prayers were answered as Batman, Martian Manhunter, The Flash, Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman, And Superman was standing beside him. " Don't worry, because we are here."

My brother and I spent our first 5 years living a comfortable life. We never had to worry about money since our parents were the number 1 and 4 heroes who were paid handsomely. We had trouble making friends until we met two of our parents' sons, Denki Kaminari, the son of the number 3 hero Shazam, and Tenya Ida, the son of the number 7 hero The Flash. Little did we know today would change our lives forever.

April 17, 20XX Japan

"Come on, Izuku or Ida's going to find us." Izuru said, signaling his brother to hurry up. "Up there, in the tree." said Izuru, telling him to climb it. By the time Izuku made it Izuru was already halfway up the tree. Izuku caught his breath before climbing up the tree. A couple minutes later they felt a gust of wind as they saw their friend Ida running past them. He had got his powers earlier that month which was the same as his dad's superspeed. After Ida passed Izuku and Izuru sighed in relief. "That was close." said Izuku. "Yeah it was ." responded Izuru. As Izuru got up he slipped and fell down to the ground. They were pretty high in the air so Izuru expected it to hurt, but it didn't. He was happy until he saw Ida come and tag him. "Why didn't you take this seriously Izuru, you didn't even hide." Ida said. " I got my powers. I fell from the tree and it didn't hurt, I have to go tell dad." Izuru said excitedly as the three made their way inside after they found Kamanari who was hiding.

After they got inside they saw their parents talking so Izuru ran up to his dad. " Dad, Dad I got my powers. I fell out of a tree and then it didn't hurt." He told his dad. "That's marvelous son, let's go to the doctor to see the extent of your powers." Clark said with a smile on his face. " Ok dad." Izuru said.

Doctor's office 1 hour later

"Well congratulations Izuru it seems you have some of your mom and some of your dad's powers." The doctor said, looking at his sheets of paper. " It seems your powers are super strength, super speed, invulnerability, infrared vision, heat breath and ice vision." the doctor said. Izuru had a big smile on his face. The doctor turned to Izuku and said "You are definitely going to develop powers, but I can't tell you when." The parent thanked the doctor before leaving.

After that my brother got trained by both of my parents while I waited for my powers to awaken. It never did. When we went back to school my brother showed off his powers and everybody was amazed. As the years went by I started to get bullied for not having any powers. My brother tried to stop them but when he wasn't around I would get my butt kicked. Even my one friend beside my brother, Ida, and Denki Katsuki Bakugou started bullying me. But I'm still going to be a hero like my parents.

Aldera Middle School Japan

The teacher walked in carrying papers. "Here I have a career aptitude test to see your future, but who am I kidding I know you all want to be heroes." He proceeded to throw the papers in the air as all the students started showing off their powers except three people. "Yes I know you all have amazing abilities, but no quirk usage in class." The teacher warned. "Hey teach, don't let me in with these losers. I'm the real deal but these guys will be lucky to be a sidekick to some busted d lister." Bakugo said, making the class mad. "Huh it seems we have three students trying out for UA, Bakugo and Kent's. Nobody said anything because they knew if they laughed at Izuku,Izuru would knock them into next week. After class, as soon as Izuru left, Bakugou and his gang went up to Izuku. Bakugou took the notebook Izuku had and after reading the title, exploded it and threw it out the window.

"Bakugo no." Izuku said. "Don't try out for UA Deku (Author's side note:Izuku stopped calling Bakugo Kaachan, but Bakugo still calls Izuku deku) Before Bakugo left he told Izuku to jump off the roof and maybe his powers will kick in. Izuku started contemplating it and ultimately started walking up the stairs to the roof. After being up there for hours contemplating whether or not to jump, he decided against it. After starting to walk home he heard an explosion and started walking toward it. After getting there he saw a villian made out of sludge fighting against heroes. None of them had the right quirk to deal with the villain. After the villain moved to show who the hostage was, Izuku's blood boiled. He saw his brother who had protected him all those years begging for his life. At that point he started to run toward him.

A few moments earlier

After seeing his son on the news superman was flying as fast as he could he had to save his son. When he got there he saw his son in danger. He was about to go in when he saw something. His other son was running to his brother.

Back to present

Izuku was running when he felt something in his body. It was power. As he got close he threw his backpack despite all the pro heroes telling him to get out the way. To his and everyone's shock he threw it so hard when it went inside the sludge villain it forcefully pushed Izuru out as when Izuru got the chance he yelled to his brother, "What are you doing." He never got an answer. When Izuku was close enough to the villain he yelled a ferocious battle cry before punching the villain as the villain screamed as the shockwave blew it apart. After a few seconds it started to rain.

"He changed the weather in one punch. Unreal." Said Deatharms, staring in shock . Everyone was shocked. Izuku was. Izuru was. All the pros and civilians were. Clark was. And a certain bony man who in his muscle form was known as the symbol of peace, the number two hero, All Might was shocked. Then Izuru clapped, then everybody else did. After a long day Izuku got scolded and congratulated. He was walking home when he saw his brother walking home and they decided to walk together. When he got home he was greeted and congratulated by both his parents.

The next day at the doctor.

"Well Izuku it seems you have most of your father's powers including superstrength, superspeed, flight, xray vision, heatvision, invulnerability, and freezebreath. Congratulations." The parents thanked the doctor before leaving.

Now that I have my powers I am one step closer to fulfilling my dream of being the greatest hero ever.
