Pam brushed her hair and looked at herself in the mirror. This was the most exciting day in her whole demonic life. Today, she was going to Pentagram City.
Pamela was relatively tall demoness with long, straight pink hair and alabaster toned skin, her tail was striped with light pink stripes. A half hellhound gens make her have big, wolf ears, despite the fact nothing much else would point out her unconventional origins.
She packed the last few things into her backpack and made sure not to wake up anybody while leaving.
Nothing was gonna stop her now. She felt such joy mixed with fear as she entered the Haron Travels bus. She used her last money to buy herself a ticket to the capital. After the death of her parents, nothing was keeping her in an old farm. Honestly, she would have gone crazy if she had stayed there. Every little corner was reminding her of them.
She opened a book to have something to do on her way, and started to read it. It was just a small story, children one to that. She didn't know why she liked Cinderella so much, but ever since sinners bring the old tales from the living world to the afterlife, demons keep integrating them to their culture so it was almost like studying an alien race.
There was something incredibly charming about a story where a poor girl, like her, just met the prince, who helped her keep all her sadness away. She sure would use someone like that in her own life. And he wasn't perfect because he was charming, handsome or rich, oh no, he was just loving and kind. Pam sure wouldn't need anything much more than that.
Humans have such a weird way of making their stories, even when they would start badly for a protagonist, they would find a way to be happy at the end. Most demonic ones, even the ones meant for kids never end up on a happy note.
After a few hours they finally arrived at the Pentagram station, her phone was buzzing, but she just turned it out for now.
She's gonna call back... eventually…
Not sure where she was going, but she opened the doors to the elegant restaurant when she saw they were hiring for help.
Sure, she had not much experience, but she could clean, wash the dishes or peel potatoes for a start, right? She was explaining her virtues to the owner, who reluctantly allowed her to try for a first day. Pam skipped out of joy, humming in celebration. Now she had a job, it was time to find a good hotel room. It was when she bumped into him.
- I-i'm sorry, sir…. - she slowly opens her eyes.
He was tall, like extremely tall, mounting her by at least 3-4 feets. Pam didn't know why the demon caught her eye so much.
- Oh, but it's no problem, miss…?
He gave her a hand , one of four he had and helped her to stand up again.
The demon was very handsome, with his pale blue skin, charismatic smile and masculane white fur collar around neck. His eyes were so, so bright and mesmerizing too. His fashion taste however was quite tacky, he dressed up like a dog's dinner, in long deep red coat and high heel boots matched with pink shade glasses in heart shapes. But again, it was Pam who was new here, so maybe she was the one dressed in a bad taste? She looked at her simple white t-shirt and denim strap jumpsuit.
- Pamela. - She smiled.
- Pamela. - His deep voice repeats after her. In his mouth the simple name appeared to be the most delicious and tempting thing in Hell. As if she was the ultimete femme fatale.
Pam never knew someone's voice alone can be this alluring. Realising she was staring at the man for far too long, she blushed in a dark crimson color that matched her eyes.
She was just about to leave, silently, grabbing her coat, but gentlemen noticed what she was doing and took it out of the hook first, putting it around her.
She didn't quite know what to make out of this behaviour, but it was very nice, she guessed. Probably all demons in the big city like this one were just well mannered, so she let him open the doors for her as well.
- Thank you, sir. - She nodded.
Since the demon just entered the restaurant she presumed that he was going to stay there to eat, to her surprise he left right after her.
- Are you new here? Such a lovely woman shouldn't be alone.
How did he knew?
- Yes, I arrived in the capital just this morning. - Pam wasn't sure why she was telling him that.
- Are you visiting friends or family? - He casually throwed one of his arms around her. Again, why was she allowing him to do that? Oh, but he was just so charming, and as he got closer, his perfume mixed with tobacco smell was driving her crazy. Why was that so amazing? - I will gladly escort you.
- I don't know anybody here, yet, sir. - Pam answered. - And I only have a sister, but she is back in my hometown in a Wrath Ring.
- Is that so?
She could feel him getting even closer, but she didn't complain.
- Yeah, I am looking for a hotel. - Pam said. - Do you know any good ones, sir?
- Sure, do. - He smirked. - And please, Pam. Just call me Val.
I don't think I made an OC x Canon Character focus story for Hazbin Hotel or Helluva boss, so here we go. I know since I claimed that I have 3 stories in progress I won't be doing more, but I'm currently a bit stuck with Arachnophobia. Just let's get it straight, this is absolutely not a romance, nor do I try to prove Valentino is misunderstood romantic at heart if he finds the right girl. Please comment and like if you enjoy this story so far.
