Author Notes - So this one has been on the back-burner for all of eternity. As for why, I'm not quite sure. It just took me a while to understand how I wanted this story to go. Anyway, pretty obvious what this is about. This is a story based on Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarves but with the characters replaced by Pokémon. Cos why the heck not?

CHAPTER ONE - A SHINY PRINCESS

This tale begins just as all good tales do: once upon a time...

There were two beautiful kingdoms - Foressidon, and Auroria. Foressidon bordered a beautiful and untouched forest, while Auroria was not too far from the snowy mountains. Both relied on the other for their resources, but for generations they remained divided.

Foressidon was ruled by King Absalon the Absol and Queen Nymphia the Sylveon. Auroria, meanwhile, was in control of King Sameko the Persian and Queen Kanjishi the Pyroar. They hoped that, in the future, their offspring would marry and unite the kingdoms.

The prince and princess were born.

Princess Snowy the Eevee shocked everyone with her birth. Instead of the usual brown, her fur was a gorgeous white that sparkled in the sunlight. She was considered the perfect fit for Prince Whiskers the Litleo, once they were old enough of course.

How fitting, it seemed, for Snowy to be a female of a male-dominated species while Whiskers was a male of a female-dominated species.

Any hope of the Foressidon royal family having any more children were dashed when King Absalom died of a horrible condition, leaving Snowy the sole descendant of Queen Nymphia.

Five years later, Prince Whiskers fell horribly ill after consuming a soup made just for him. The soup was found to contain almost lethal amounts of Umbreon toxins, and it led to the banishment of not just the only Umbreon in the kingdom but her family as well.

After this near death experience for the prince, security for both kingdoms went sky-high. Especially for Princess Snowy.

And that shiny Eevee is the one whom this tale will follow.

Snowy looked out her bedroom window, and sighed. Her sixteenth birthday was coming up, but it certainly didn't feel like it. No day seemed any more special than the others, ever since her father died ten years ago. She cringed at the thought of her father. Even a decade later, it was a burn so painful and lingering you'd think a Houndoom inflicted it.

The midday sun shone on her white fur, making it sparkle like glitter. The gorgeous outside world beckoned her. The comforting village, the sprawling forest, the lovely river, the beautiful sky... she could witness it all, just from her bedroom window high above the moat below. Was she grateful for what she had? Of course. She was a princess, for Arceus's sake. But still, she longed for that outside world.

Ever since King Absalom died, Snowy had been barred from ever leaving the castle grounds. Queen Nymphia insisted that 'the outsiders will hunt you down for your beautiful white fur', a sentiment that Snowy believed less and less each day. She could only hope her mother actually remembered her birthday this time.

'Your highness, would you like anything?'

Snowy turned around to the source of the voice. One of the castle's many butlers, Issan the Indeedee, stood by her door and awaited for her orders. He had a habit of visiting her much more than the actual queen.

The Eevee gave him a smile. 'No thanks, Issan. I'm good!'

Issan remained as stoic as always. 'Wonderful to see, your highness.'

'You can just call me Snowy, you know.'

'I enjoy referring to you by your proper title, though I do appreciate the offer.'

Taking a bow, he left the room and gently closed the door behind him. The massive bedroom returned to silence, filled only by the outside noises. Snowy witnessed the Wingull and Taillow swooping by her window, singing their lovely songs to each other.

'OOOH SWEEEEET WIINNNIEEE!' A Taillow sang to one of the Wingull. 'WON'T YOU BE MIIIIINE?'

'Oh, not that song again...' The Wingull groaned. 'I'm not interested in you!'

The village that the castle overlooked may have been far from her, but she could still see some of the Pokémon nearby. A Dragonite seemed to be angrily discussing prices at a Whimsicott's store. She apparently thought the prices of the berries were too high. The Whimsicott responded by firing his cotton in her face.

'What did you think would happen, Draga?' Snowy remarked. 'You're a Dragon-type, and Cotton is a Fairy-type. That was the best thing that could've happened.'

Most of the castle was kept pristine and shiny, thanks to all the Indeedee and Cinccino working to keep it clean. There was only one exception - a dungeon, kept far below where any visitors would be. Only Queen Nymphia, the dungeon guards, and the prisoners within knew this room even existed at all.

The mouldy jail cells were not the queen's destination today. In a secret room of the secret room, the Sylveon walked down a short series of steps. The only thing decorating the tiny room was a musty old carpet that was falling apart at its very seams. The gorgeous Sylveon seemed so out of place up against the dank and mossy stones. She had long gotten used to the musty smell and the dust messing up her fur. Such was the sacrifice when she had to keep this room a secret to even her most diligent of workers.

The room was tiny. An Arbok would have to coil to its absolute limit to have even a chance of fitting. Aside from the dirty carpet and dim, barely functioning lights, there was practically nothing in the room.

Almost nothing.

The carpet tapered off at the end, leading to an old mirror mounted on the wall. Its golden round frame stood out in the drab room, but its glass reflected nothing. The glass was merely a wall, blocking off the black void laying behind it. And this mirror is precisely what Queen Nymphia wanted.

'Magic mirror, on the wall,' She chanted, her ribbon-like feelers fluttering in the non-existent wind. 'Who is the fairest of them all?'

The gold frame on the mirror began to glow, and inside the glassy prison a face appeared. It resembled the mask held by most Yamask, except this one moved and emoted. If one looked closely enough, they could barely make out the ghostly image of the Ghost-type.

'With ribbons that wave in the breeze and fur as soft as snow, you are the fairest Pokémon that I know.'

Queen Nymphia grinned. That was the exact answer she always looked for, every single day when she came down here. It wasn't just an ego boost. Every time someone had usurped her, she would know exactly who and make sure she remained as number one.

'And, my magic mirror, who shall remain the most lovely queen of all time?'

'With shiny fur like silver and a strong heart of gold, Snowy will remain the loveliest as time grows old.'

At first, Nymphia grinned even wider. It only took a second for her to realise that she did not get the answer she desired.

'Wait, WHAT?!' She shrieked.

Her feelers waved around like water in a storm at sea as she slammed her front paws into the floor. Her angry shriek echoed in the tiny, empty room. The mask within the mirror had no reaction, not because he was incapable of having emotion but because he saw this fury coming a mile away.

'I'm sorry my Queen, have you not learnt your lesson? If you don't want the answer, you should not ask the question.'

'But why?!' Nymphia shouted. 'What could my daughter possibly have that would make her a lovelier queen than me? Has all my years of preventing her evolution meant nothing? Is it just because she is shiny?!'

Curses, she should've known! The moment her daughter was born, she saw that gorgeous shiny fur. It didn't scare her back then. She made a horrible mistake.

'My Queen, I do not understand what has caused such a stir. My decision has nothing to do with her shiny white fur.'

'So then why have you made such an asinine decision?!'

'Looks matter little in my queenly judging art. What makes her lovelier than you is her big golden heart.'

Nymphia snorted. She practically felt sick to her stomach. How ridiculous!

'So you're telling me that when it's Snowy's time to be queen, she will be a better queen than me because of her heart?'

'Yes, My Queen, that is true. Do you wish to argue?'

She certainly did wish to argue. In fact, she could've ranted and raved for hours on end about how incorrect he was. But, with a disgruntled sigh, she accepted the facts. Her magic mirror was incapable of lying.

'I cannot let that be. I cannot be surpassed by my own flesh and blood!' Her eyes narrowed. 'I must take care of this at once.'

The Sylveon turned around and stomped back up the stairs with her teeth gritted. Before she could leave the room, the mirror spoke to her one more time.

'His daughter going up and above? Is that not something King Absalom would love?'

The name of her departed husband stopped her in her tracks. She clenched her eyes and jaw tight as her feelers waved around.

'Don't you DARE mention the name of that Absol EVER AGAIN!'

King Absalom, when he was still able to rule, had made sure that even his servants got their own rooms in the castle. After all, it was quite a lot of space for just an Absol, a Sylveon, and their Eevee daughter. Of course, the rooms weren't nearly as big as those belonging to the royal family, but the workers appreciated their living spaces nonetheless.

Blade the Honedge's room was small, but very close to the queen's. He adored the swords and shields that lined the wall, and he had the perfect rack to rest on when it was time for sleep. He was doing what he usually did in his spare time, polishing one of the many decorative swords in his room with his cloth, when he heard the door open.

'Greetings.' He said. 'How may I...?'

His voice trailed off when he saw who just entered the room. The very sight of the crowned-Sylveon made him want to unsheathe his eponymous blade. His singular eye narrowed.

'Queen Nymphia...' He muttered.

Nymphia waltzed into the room with a particularly-punchable smile on her face. Just the way she strutted with such conviction would boil Blade's blood if he had any.

'That's right, Blade!' She announced. 'I am your gorgeous Queen Nymphia. I see all is going well for you.'

Blade rolled his eye. 'Alright, cut the nonsense. What do you want?'

Nymphia chuckled. 'How dare you assume I require something from you! But you are correct. I need you to do a, how you say, job for me.'

Though Blade could only emote through just one eye, that one eye conveyed the hatred and impatience he had with his queen.

'Who is it this time?' He demanded.

'Oh, nothing much. I just want you to take my daughter on a lovely trip to the forest, where you will-'

'Kill her?'

She feigned a shocked expression. 'My, Blade! You're so smart!'

The tassels at the end of Blade's cloth curled up, in a manner similar to a clenched fist. He wished he could be shocked anymore.

'How about no?' He said. 'If you're going to do something so abhorrent and despicable, how about you at least do the common courtesy of doing it yourself instead of dragging another Pokémon through the mud for you?'

She merely giggled, the kind of laugh that does nothing but send chills down one's spine. He backed away just a bit, knowing exactly what was to come and accepting of his fate.

'Oh, you're funny Blade. You think you have a choice in a matter!'

Without elaborating any further, she winked at him. Blade did nothing to escape, fully aware that any attempt could not succeed. As Nymphia winked, pink hearts emerged from her eyes and floated about in the air. They circled around the Honedge, before flying into his body.

See, there was a very good reason why most of Nymphia's servants were male.

'WHOA!'

Snowy's ears perked. The distressed cry, followed up by a small crash, came from just outside her room. With a gasp, she ran out her door.

The sight she was greeted with in that massive shiny corridor did not surprise her much at all. Nassi the Indeedee, the sister of Issan, lay on her face against the floor. Her limbs were spread out in a rather inelegant fashion. Finding her in this position was common.

'Nassi, are you okay?' Snowy asked.

Nassi got to her feet, and rubbed her forehead. Aside from a small bruise just above her nose, she looked just fine. As to be expected, as her body was very used to falling to the floor.

'Oh yeah. I'm okay! Gosh, I hope Nymphia doesn't find out about this...'

Snowy giggled. 'She could never fire you. She needs your brother's services too much.'

'Heck yeah! Nepotism! Oh, that reminds me... your mother wants to see you in the throne room.'

Snowy blinked, unable to recall the last time her mother did anything like that. She sat down in thought, trying to figure out why it was the case now.

'Really?' She asked. 'Do you know why?'

Nassi shrugged. 'Beats me. Something about a special gift or something.'

The Eevee scoffed. 'Probably just another 'rare berry' again. Still, if I'm lucky it could be something interesting.'

'I can take you there if you want.'

'That's alright! I'll be fine. I've walked to the throne room hundreds of times.'

She uttered that number with many layers of annoyance. Though she couldn't be certain, she was sure that one could see the imprints of her paws left from going to the throne room and back so many times.

'Yeah, I should've known.' Nassi said. 'But what can I say? I'm a female Indeedee. It's in my nature to babysit.'

'I'm almost sixteen.'

'I know, I know! But it's so easy to forget that when you're still just a little Eevee. Wonder why you haven't evolved yet?'

Nassi wandered off, continuing to talk to herself about the mystery of the late-blooming Eevee. Snowy grumbled; she knew exactly why, and she wasn't happy with it. The fact that everyone seemed to think it was because of 'indecision' didn't help matters.

She already knew what she wanted to be. She had known for years now.

'See you later, Nassi!'

The Indeedee was too caught up in her one-person conversation to respond.

The throne room had to be the most beautiful part of the entire castle. Even at this moment, several Minccino and Cinccino swept at the stained-glass windows with their tails. A well-washed red carpet with golden edges led from the front door to the thrones, one of which Nymphia had perched herself on. The windows were the only thing that let Snowy enjoy her visits to this room. Each one depicted the previous rulers of Forressidon, both Pokémon sharing the same window. She adored looking at her ancestors.

Before King Absalom and Queen Nymphia, there was King Ashiren the Primarina and Queen Pandora the Absol. The kind of Pokémon in the Forressidon lineage would've shocked anyone. In some cases, the different species involved made sense. King Bossgodoro had fallen in love with a male Meganium named Hibiscus, and the two adopted the future Queen Dustdas the Garbodor. Others, however? Queen Kobria the Arbok, King Camo the Inteleon, Prince Kimba the Luxray, Princess Neura the Yanmega... a bizarre lineage, to be sure.

'So Mother, what did you want me for?'

Snowy did a spectacular job hiding the irritation in her voice, sounding just like her usual cheery self. She had a feeling this time may have been a little different, though. Even if Nymphia could often be seen sitting on her throne, it was rare that Blade accompanied her. The Honedge was forced to float there, even though King Absalom's old throne was still there and empty - Nymphia could never bear to get rid of it, nor let anyone else sit upon it.

Regardless of the intentions, Snowy did not like that smile. It looked more than a little forced, like the Sylveon was two seconds away from snapping.

'Oh, it's wonderful, my sweet daughter!' Nymphia claimed. 'You know how you're turning sixteen in just a few days?'

Snowy's eyes widened. She actually remembered her birthday?

'Uh... yeah?'

Nymphia clapped her front paws together. 'Well, after a lot of thinking, I've decided that you're finally old enough to leave the castle grounds!'

Snowy's jaw fell, almost to the floor. She almost burst into a fit of high-pitched glee! The way Nymphia's feelers fluttered about proved that she meant those words. Right before Snowy launched into a dance, she stopped herself. She gave her mother an incredulous look.

'Alright, what's the catch?' She asked.

Nymphia put her paw on her heart. 'Oh, you sweet little thing! You know that I can't have you go out on your own. Who knows what could happen to you!'

Snowy grumbled. Obviously she intended it in a 'people might hurt you' sort of way, but it came out more as a 'I expect you to have no problem-solving skills'.

'Which is why I'm sending my huntsman Blade to accompany you!'

That brought a smile to Snowy's face, and her tail wagged. She figured that if someone had to go with her, Blade was a good choice.

'Isn't that right, Blade?' Nymphia asked.

The Honedge remained silent for a second, not moving an inch, until he responded with a simple and blank 'yes'. It made the fur on Snowy's 'collar' stand on end and twitch; something about it was horribly off. She looked into his single eye. His species were not exactly known for their deeply expressive eyes, but it seemed a little more dead and empty than usual.

'Uh, Blade? Are you okay?' She asked.

'I am.' He said, no less emotionless than before.

The Eevee cocked an eyebrow. 'Riiight...'

Nymphia leapt off her throne, and scuffed up the fur on top of Snowy's head. The shiny Pokémon just grumbled.

'I trust no one else to keep my daughter safe!'

'Okay Mother, you can stop that now. Please...'

Nymphia only did it quicker and harsher, like she was trying to sand the skin off with just her paw alone. At least, that's what it felt like to Snowy. Blade watched the whole thing blankly, as if it wasn't happening at all. After Snowy felt like her head was on fire, her mother finally ceased the aggressive rubbing.

'Now run along, little sweetie!' She said in an overly happy tone. 'And make sure you return before the Murkrow fly!'

Blade floated over to the young Eevee with messy hair, no more emotive than a regular old sword. Looking into his eye made Snowy shudder.

Something was up. She just knew it. But she wasn't one to pass up an opportunity to go outside.

The Eevee and Honedge had left the front gate and stepped onto the lovely drawbridge for all of two seconds, when Snowy felt herself getting grabbed and thrown into a rough embrace.

'OMGosh!' Kiriki the Bisharp squealed, hugging Snowy tight in her arms. 'Look at this, Chevy. It's the princess! And she is a-DOOR-rable.'

Snowy didn't even try to fight back, and just gave the Bisharp a disapproving look. Kiriki's door-guarding partner, Chevalier the Gardevoir, rolled his eyes and sighed.

'Kiki, please unhand her.' He stated, bluntly. 'We have a job to do.'

'I know, I know!' Kiriki said. 'But guarding this gate or whatever is so boring. And we never get to see the adorable princess!'

Snowy sighed. While their meetings were far and few between, Kiriki always had to make up for it. Every. Single. Time.

'Honey, please.' Chevalier said. 'Put her down.'

'Oh, you're just jealous that I'm cuddling her instead of you!'

The Gardevoir blushed. 'W...What? I-I'm not-'

Kiriki finally placed Snowy back on the ground, and gave her male partner a great big hug. Chevalier blushed more intensely for a few seconds, before returning the gesture. Snowy giggled - the few times she had seen the door guards, their interactions went about in the same way each time.

'Greetings, Chevalier.' Blade muttered as he floated on by them. 'Greetings, Kiriki.'

The lack of emotion in his voice snapped the guards out of their little embrace. They gave the Honedge unnerved looks as he moved past them.

'Um... is Blade alright?' Kiriki whispered to Chevalier.

'I have no idea.' He said. 'I hate it when he acts like this.'

The Eevee and Honedge ran off across the drawbridge, Snowy giggling all the way while Blade barely moved his stiff body at all. His cloth hardly waved in the breeze.

'I don't know about you, Chevy.' Kiriki said, hugging him tighter. 'But I don't have a good feeling about this.'

'Neither do I. But there is little I can do. You know what Her Highness does to her male workers.'

Kiriki gulped. 'Goodness... I don't want that to happen to you.'

'WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!' Draga screamed at the Whimsicott seller.

'Um, maybe because you were threatening to destroy my store?' Cotton responded, completely deadpanned. 'That might have something to do with it.'

The Dragonite did not appreciate this answer. 'Your prices are too absurd!'

'Alright then. Let's just helpfully ignore the fact that my cotton products go for much lower prices than those created by the Mareep the Benefits company.'

Snowy could now watch this debacle carry on up close, and it only looked dumber from here. She wanted to step in and stop the silly fight, but she figured that trying to talk to an angry Dragonite was a bad idea. She shivered as she felt Blade's cloth rub against her tail.

'Come along, princess.' He said. 'We do not want to get involved in this fight.'

'Yes, I know.' She replied. 'Cotton's probably going to win it anything. There's not much a Dragon can do against a Fairy.'

'Precisely. So let us move on.'

The village was exactly how Snowy imagined it - a town made of quaint homes with thatched roofs, with all types of Pokémon going back and forth and conversing with one another on the soft dirt roads.

A Camerupt and a Stantler took their Numel child to meet up with his Slugma friend. A Venomoth flew above them, carrying some fruity goods and delivering them to her Sceptile customer. A Beartic and a Zebstrika sat on a bench, watching the clouds together. And that Pikachu over there...

'OH MY ARCEUS!' She yelled. 'The princess is here!'

Suddenly, all eyes were placed firmly on Snowy. It was hard to miss a shiny Eevee. If anything, it was a shock it took this long. The Eevee in question gulped.

'Uh... h-hi?' She said, waving sheepishly.

The entire crowd of Pokémon burst into ear-shattering squealing. Snowy had all of three seconds to recover from the audio assault when everyone began to crowd her. She backed away as the Pokémon surrounded her. She could barely make anything out in that mess of colours.

'Princess, Princess. OVER HERE!' An Infernape yelled.

'LOOK AT ME!' A Weezing shouted.

'Am I a pretty princess too?' A Scizor asked.

'Can I be your prince?!' A Breloom demanded.

'Sign my wings!' A Frosmoth cried.

Snowy, to say the very least, was not used to having so many Pokémon to answer to at once. They crowded around her, and the spaces between them just got smaller by the second. In fact, fights began to break out. A Machamp and a Passimian punched each other away, and a Medicham used her Psychic to push both a Watchog and a Donphan aside. She backed into a wall, and the fans just kept coming. Her eyes closed.

She almost screamed. Something wrapped itself around her waist. Before she could panick, she recognised the velvet of Blade's cloth. He lifted her up into the air, which did not calm the crowd down at all. If anything, it just got them more riled up. That Shiftry climbing on the Golisopod probably frightened her the most. Looking down at the mob felt like looking into a vat of magma.

Lightbulb!

Snowy feigned a gasp. 'Is... is that the Litleo prince?!'

The crowd gasped at once, and ran off in a random direction like PoGo players hearing the words 'there's a Dragonite here'. Snowy exhaled a sigh of relief.

'It seems the town is too crowded.' Blade said. 'I think we should go into the forest until this dies down.'

'Uh, yeah. We should.' Snowy admitted. 'I don't think I can handle a crowd like that.'

As Blade carried her towards the remote wild area, the Eevee got a great feeling of unease.

'Okay Blade, the sun's about to set. We should go home now.'

'And waste this opportunity? Perish the thought.'

They had been wandering around in those woods for what felt like hours. The forest was exactly how Snowy predicted - empty, silent, yet oddly tranquil. The rustling leaves and bubbling brooks were much more pleasing to her ears than the hustle and bustle of the village.

Snowy sat down and sighed, figuring she should at least savour the moment. The smell of flowers in the air was godly compared to the flower shops - no offence to Damasceno the Roserade and his gorgeous flowers, of course. She stared up at a tree. Its branches were covered in Oran berries. Sure, the farmer berries were delicious enough, but she always wondered how wild ones tasted.

Her ears perked. That was the sound of a metal blade scraping against its wooden casing. It came from right behind her. With nothing in the area of any note...

Yep, Snowy was right.

'BLADE!' She yelled as she jumped around.

Blade had chucked his casing aside, and pointed his eponymous blade between her eyes. Her bones shivered against each other, but she tried her hardest to maintain a brave face.

'Blade...' She said. 'You don't have to do this.'

Fear seeped from her words. Though seeming confident on the outside, she wanted to puke.

'But I must.' The Honedge muttered.

'You don't!'

Snowy counted her blessings. If Blade had gone this long without dealing the killing blow, he must've been fighting against the Attract at least a little.

'It is what Her Highness has ordered me to do.' He said. 'Prepare to meet Arceus.'

Snowy gulped. The way he floated over to her slowly made it so much worse, and not just because it was delaying her fate. His blank eye showed a hint of emotion for a moment - guilt and despair.

The shiny Pokémon took a deep breath. 'I didn't want to have to do this...'

Snowy opened her mouth, and a small black ball of energy formed in front of it. Siphoning darkness from the trees' shadows themselves, it grew exponentially until it grew even bigger than her own head.

She fired the Shadow Ball. It slammed Blade in his 'face', and sent him plummeting to the ground.

'BLADE!'

Snowy cringed. The Honedge appeared to have fainted. Maybe she should've chosen a move less devastating for the specially-weak Ghost-type.

'S... Snowy?' Blade muttered. 'Are you... alive?'

The Eevee stood in place, her knees quaking. 'Y-Yes. Are you okay?'

If Honedge could weep, he'd be crying a waterfall at that very moment. His limp cloth conveyed the same message.

'I... I am deeply sorry, my dear princess. What I have done is unforgivable.'

'What? No. NO! It wasn't your fault!' She yelled, stamping her foot on the ground. 'It wasn't you. It was my mother's mind tricks. She...'

The realisation of those very words finally hit her. Tears welled in her eyes as the thought of those words sunk in.

'Mother... wants me dead...'

'I will not hide the truth from you.' Blade said, getting back up. 'Her motives elude me, but your mother is out for your blood.'

How it pained him to look at her. She curled up into a ball, as if trying to shrink herself out of existence, where her tears remained hidden behind her tail.

'What... what can I do?' She asked. 'My mother is so powerful. I never thought she would... would...'

Blade looked to the ground for a moment, and clenched his cloth. 'Run. Do not return to the kingdom. Or Auroria either.'

She wiped her tears. 'Then, where can I go?'

'I,' A long pause. 'Don't quite know. But anywhere but Forressidon. Run into the open forest. Run away right this moment, and don't look back!'

Snowy looked deeper into the woods. Thanks to the setting sun, the shadows grew deeper and longer. It revealed and amplified the darkness of the trees, and she could've sworn one of them had an angry face.

'But what about you?' She asked. 'I know my mother. She will punish you horribly for disobeying her.'

'Never mind me! I am not important. Frankly, I deserve to be punished after all the innocent Pokémon I was forced to murder. So, Princess Snowy, run away. For me.'

Snowy swallowed back her tears. Sweet Arceus, she did not want to leave him. Sure, a Ghost-type like him couldn't really die, but Queen Nymphia would surely give him a fate worse than death.

'What are you doing still standing there?' Blade demanded. 'Run! RUN!'

With no other options, she followed his orders. She ran. And ran. And ran.

'Get out! Run! NEVER COME BACK! You hear me? If you return, you will die!'

Author Notes - One of my goals with this story is to fix some issues some people have with the original story. For instance, Snowy is now a more proactive protagonist, in a way that hopefully doesn't seem like I'm trying to force 'girl power' too hard.

Originally the joke with Chevalier and Kiriki was that they weren't in the same egg group. But then SwSh came along and put Gardevoir in the Human-Like group, thus ruining my everything.

Anyway, my petty rants aside, next chapter we'll be getting to the real meat of this story: the titular Seven Eevees themselves! If you look at the front cover that I use for this story, you can already infer which dwarfs they represent based on that.
