This girl. A heavenly mystery. Stars finally working in favor. Where she had come from was the question. How did such a beautiful, radiant being suddenly stumble into his world; from which she so clearly didn't belong. How could those alluring savory eyes, take in the mess that was he, and only stare back in pure wonder of what she was seeing.
Aladdin could easily tell she was troubled. She needed a rescuing. yes, he had saved her from the unforgiving fruit vendor earlier, but she needed something else. She had a past, but what? How does one earnestly ask for another's entire, complete life story, with the beautiful, little details. How does one envelope themselves in the constant nearness and full dedication of another glorious being? He had no idea, they were complex topics, all he knew, was that something was indeed troubling her. But she masked it well beneath those stunning eyes. Oh how he could stare into her eyes forever; a void of vibrant passion that she could yield from a single glance. He'd never seen anything like it.
She gingerly played with the fabric of her hood dawning a picturesque smile. He matched it quickly.
He was suddenly alarmed and instantaneously aware at how fast he was falling. Falling for her like a rare, breathtaking rainstorm on a dry desert night. Each water droplet picking up speed faster and faster, before they splattered on the ground, creating a saddened yet beautiful scene. He feared for a second that he would share a similar fate with the raindrops, but he couldn't find the will in his situation to care. For once in his difficult life, he let down his guard, he wanted this. Desperately. She was special; truly something else. Intrigued, and yearning to know more about this mystery girl, he cleverly rolled a pretty apple off his shoulder and flicked towards her. "So, where are you from?"
Surprised, She caught it, and without missing a beat, she answered clutching the fruit. "I ran away and I am not going back."
Stunned, He read her carefully. He was good at that. Taking in her words, he smoothly sat down next to her after taking a sufficient bite out of his own apple. "Really? How come?" He questioned earnestly, before handing off the apple the monkey. He slightly inched closer, awaiting her chorous voice to fill the air.
She hesitated, "My father's forcing me to get married."
A blow to the heart. A raindrop splattered on the dry desert ground. He gulped, heart pounding, "That's….that's…awful." He sputtered out. His mind raced at the thought of someone else having her. It was stupid he knew, having only known her for what seemed like many blissful years, when in reality it was only a mere hour. How could he really claim her? And then his mind jumped to the bigger picture; how terrible of a situation for her… forced marriges… he didn't see the value in the pointless concept. Why live a life not worth living? Why condemn someone to be unhappy for the rest of their lives? He viewed marriage as something that should be cherished and celebrated out of love, not bought or bartered for a bargain. It seemed… so wrong. Ha. He would just have to change that. He thought with a smirk.
Snapping back to the present, he knew he sensed trouble when he caught Abu trying to smuggle the mystery girl's apple. He jumped in to spare the poor fruit before it was mercilessly devoured by the ravanous critter. "Abu!" Aladdin chimed in a scolding manner. Abu, irked that he was discovered, ran around Aladdin's shoulders in hysterics before landing on the ledge in a huff, arms crossed.
Observing this, Jasmine gave an amusing giggle at the entertaining animal. "What?" She questioned beaming with a playful spirit. Which hastily eased some of Aladdin's embarrassment from his friends curt behavior. He smirked, matching her playful personna as well.
"Ha. Abu says…" He brightened, thinking back to her awful situation with her father. Facetiously, he continued. "That's not fair."
"Did he?" She held a joyful tint in her voice, displaying her true sense of humor. Trusting in his knowledge of him and the monkey's friendship, She held her apple slyly as her heart began to pound. How did she get here? she thought blissfully. How on earth did she get so lucky as to be rescued, and then taken under wing by this mysterious boy? A kind and cute one at that. Heaven was surely smiling down on upon her tonight. She blushed slightly and adjusted on the cobblestone of his paradisal hovel overlooking the palace she called prison.
"And does, Abu—" She tested out the name, before continuing. "Have anything else to say?" She twinkled exhubherently, gazing enchantingly into his interested, frisky eyes, unaware he was inching closer with every passing second.
She too leaned closer, as his response was reduced to a soft hush, barely above a whisper, due to their nearness. "He wishes…" He paused, inwardly graveling at her astounding beauty, and stumbled back to his words. "There was something he could do to help." He leaned closer, turning his head more fully towards her.
She was like a painting he decided, a beautiful moment captured in talented use of lively colors and a fervent passion to create something truly magnificent. The divine sunset provided a perfect backdrop to the art of it all, and accentuated her stellar frame, bringing a heavenly glow to her features.
Not really sure what she was saying, she began to flutter her eyes closed, as their mouths began to linger, warm breaths mingling in unison, an unfamiliar gesture to the both of them, yet one they both vowed to experience again. "Tell him…" she breathed softly, "That's very… Sweet…"
The apple rolled gently out of her hands, and onto the floor, as their lips slowly met in a pleasurable explosion of an entirely new, exquisite experience they were giving each other
Abu ducked for cover, covering his eyes, and ran towards the exit, picking up the apple on the way out as Aladdin quickly deepened the contact between the two, escalating the passion. Her lips were lush, and full. He could taste the delectable cinnamon on her sweet lips, which was already entirely what she smelled of, but it was a whole other affair to have it on his tongue. He moved his lips delicately, trying to match the rhythm she established firsthand. He'd never kissed anyone before, and he had hoped he was doing it right.
The kiss was short, but sweet, a perfect first kiss. His heart raced cripplingly as they parted for few seconds, both looking adoringly into the others eyes, both filled with twisted emotions of wonder and excitement. New. It was all so new. It had seemed like everything had slowed, or completely stopped, it was hard to tell, but for Jasmine, it really didn't matter, as she grabbed him again, yearning for another taste of him. She wanted to go deeper, to know more. She had just experienced life outside the palace. This is what they were keeping from her; a life filled with adventure and a sense of danger. How could she ever go back? She had vowed that she wouldn't, and now with him, and now with this knowledge, she absolutely couldn't.
She ran her fingers through his beautiful raven hair, that began to glow stunningly in the light of the rising moon. It was night. Fun. She thought giddily.
Aladdin gasped as she kissed him unexpectedly for a second time, he couldn't believe this was happening. Just over two hours ago, he would have never thought that he'd be here, with a girl, kissing her, in the light of the full moon. It was a magical feeling, one that gave him a sense of utter bewilderment. He liked the rebellion; she was supposed to be getting married to a stranger, but she was here instead, with him… also…a stranger. He'd hardly known the girl, he didn't even know her name he thought sheepishly, that felt wrong, but somehow, here with her, all signs were telling him that this was right. It was as if their souls had clicked, as if they ignited, as if their spirits had fit together like the last piece of a challenging puzzle, bringing relief, and completing the entirety of the spectacular satisfaction of the picture.
As She showed her desperation in the kiss, that signaled to Aladdin that he could go a little further. To push out of his comfort zone. He was hesitant with the touch at first, but he easily found the courage to brush his hand along her cheek, before completely losing himself, and pulling her with him backwards onto the plush pillows of his makeshift bed.
It was like a loud rushing river, flowing diligently to its intended destination; which was her heart, he wanted her in his life. Desperately. He wanted her smile, her laugh, he wanted her cleverness, her smarts, her wit, he wanted her kisses to plant on his lips, causing an avalanche of new desired emotions to well up inside of him, only to spill out in a simple stature of three simple words. He wouldn't say them yet, but he felt it. He wasn't quite sure if it was too early to tell, but did that really matter? He thought. Parting their lips once more, she rested her head on his shoulder, as they both gazed into the star lit sky, They dazzled and danced for the two, rejoicing in happiness for the newfound beauty in both their lives. Neither could wipe the smile off their faces even if they tried. But there was nothing wrong with that.
Worried about how he could make this work for the two of them, Aladdin's apprehension began to seep into this pleasant moment threatening to destroy it. But Aladdin just percevered and pushed away the preliminary feelings of doubt and focused solely on her, the girl. No.
"What's your name?" He finally asked, feeling stupid for never introducing himself to her. He had to laugh a bit at that though.
She smiled, "Jasmine. My name is Jasmine." She said almost instantly, intertwining her fingers within the comforts of his, exploring every inch of her new acquaintance, although she now hoped he would become a little more than that.
"That's a beautiful name." He confessed, squeezing the hand she took, "After the flower right?"
"Yes, my mother loved jasmines." Jasmine replied, suddenly realizing how quickly she destroyed any chances she had with her answer.
"Was your mother a fan of the princess too?" Aladdin retorted, laughing a bit. Unaware of her growing panic from his tease.
"Uh, well…" She started, growing flustered. "Yes?" She lied. Somewhat.
Panic overflowed throughout her stature, as she gripped his hand tighter in disarray. He was speaking, but she wasn't listening. 'Dammit' She cursed herself. 'Now he knows my name is Jasmine. Which just so happens to be the princesses name! He's going to put two and twotogether pretty easily!' She quickly began to collect multiple ideas, and wracked her brain for any plans on what to do. She had to keep up this facade, she wouldn't be dragged back like a bird to its cage. She had finally spreaded her wings with the taste of freedom just out of reach, and now she ruined it by clipping the wings off, with the little slip up.
'Well then' she thought, dumbfounded at her own stupidity.
'if I'm not going back to the palace, I sure didmake this extremely difficult for myself already.
And this is just the start.'
