Chapter One: I, Robot Heart

One morning as Alexis is walking in wolf form she soon gets tackled to the ground before getting up snarling.

"Who are you!?" Alexis asks as she growls.

"Whoa. Sorry miss. We didn't mean to." A raccoon says.

"Honest we didn't. We were chasing a refrigerator." A blue bear says.

"You were chasing a what?" Alexis asks in surprise.

"A refrigerator." The blue bear says.

"Uh..." Alexis says.

"Don't ask." The blue bear says as Alexis nods.

"Sorry we bumped into you miss. Are you okay?" The raccoon asks concernedly.

"I'm okay. Startled but otherwise fine." Alexis says as she gives a friendly smile.

"I've never seen you around here before. Who are you?" The bear asks.

"Alexis. I'm a wolfshifter. I live around here." Alexis says.

"I'm Bright Heart Raccoon and this is Grumpy Bear. We're part of the Care Bear family." The raccoon says kindly.

"Nice to meet you. Look I don't know if it will help but I did see something run that way and I saw something in that way earlier. May be worth checking out. Could be that machine you lost." Alexis says as she points in a direction.

"Thank you. Come on Bright Heart." Grumpy says.

"Thanks Alexis." Bright Heart says as he and Grumpy leave.

*Timeskip*

As Alexis is later walking in human form she hears people talking she soon spots Grumpy and Bright Heart walking.

"Hey. What are you two doing out here?" Alexis asks as she walks over.

"Who are you?" Grumpy asks.

"It's me. Alexis." Alexis says.

"Oh so that's what you meant by being a wolf shifter. We've never met one so we weren't really sure." Bright Heart asks.

"It's alright. What are you doing?" Alexis asks as she shifts to wolf form.

"Walking back to Care-A-Lot." Grumpy says.

"Oh." Alexis says.

"Hey do you have any friends around here?" Bright Heart asks.

"No. Why?" Alexis asks curiously.

"I'm just curious. Isn't it kinda lonely out here by yourself?" Bright Heart asks as Alexis shakes her head.

"Nof for me. I enjoy the solitary life." Alexis says.

"Well would you like to come back to Care-A-Lot with us?" Grumpy asks.

"Yeah. Everyone would love you." Bright Heart says.

"Oh no, no. Not that the offer isn't nice I just don't enjoy places I'm not familiar in. Besides some aren't fond of the whole shifting thing. Anyway I gotta go. See you boys around." Alexis says as she runs off.
