A/N: Here's another sort of rp w/Mandajoy92 turned fic, this one a bit more on the fluffy side.

Tori watched the hour change to early afternoon in the top right corner of her phone, and finally made an executive decision that it was time to start working on waking her girlfriend up. She locked her phone and set it face down next to her on the bed, turning her head to the side to see Jade's peaceful sleeping form facing her.

"Jaaade," Tori called softly. "It's time to wake up now."

Jade didn't stir at all (as Tori had already expected), so she rolled closer to her girlfriend in the bed. Tori leaned in and kissed Jade's cheek (this time Jade made a face in her sleep, but otherwise remained as she was). Tori saw that a bit of Jade's neck was exposed (Jade usually pulled the blanket as high up as she could to cover herself when she slept), and leaned in.

"Jaaaade, we have to get up now," Tori whispered against the exposed skin, before gently kissing it, as well. This time Jade gave a small indication that she was on the way to waking up, making a little noise and taking in a deep breath. Tori grinned to herself and leaned in to kiss Jade's neck again.

"Tori..." Jade muttered sleepily. "Stop it."

Tori did the complete opposite and gave Jade's neck yet another little kiss.

"No, I need to wake you up, and this seems to be doing it."

"I'm up, I'm up," Jade grumbled, slowly opening her eyes and shooting a sleepy glare to Tori, now grinning and hovering just above her face. "'Morning."

"Actually, it's after noon," Tori said. "I thought you'd need the extra sleep after your late night. But you're awake now and that's the important thing."

She leaned in and gave Jade's cheek another quick kiss.

Jade groaned. "You know the rules, Vega. None of your...you-ness until after I've had my caffeine."

"I know," Tori said. "But I just couldn't resist." She gently tugged at the corner of the blanket in a silent empty threat, getting a little growl from Jade. "Come on, let's go get some caffeine in you."

"Fine," Jade said, but she didn't actually move from her spot. "Oops, wait, I forgot. I'm part of the bed now. I can't leave."

Tori laughed, throwing back her part of the blanket and letting it cover Jade as she sat up. "I guess it's up to me to get the caffeine then."

Jade silently answered by burying herself deeper under the blanket and snuggling back up beneath it. Tori watched amusedly as Jade got settled in again, before moving to leave the bed.

"Make sure it's a Juice Monster! You know I can't stand the original unless I absolutely have to," Jade called from under the blanket, just as Tori had gotten her slippers on her feet.

"I know, baby," Tori replied sweetly. The groan from this was barely audible, but Tori heard it and felt her heart skip a beat. She left the bedroom and padded across the room to the apartment's tiny kitchen, washed in mid afternoon sunlight. Tori went to the refrigerator and pulled out one of Jade's Monsters (a Juice Monster, she made sure) from her back of the fridge stash and the gallon of milk, closing the fridge with one slippered foot before walking over to set the items on the counter. She then turned to the coffee pot, setting it to brew a pot for her own caffeine fix.

As the coffee brewed, she looked around the tiny kitchen at the plants Jade kept: the vibrant pothos with its long vines hanging in front of the window, the inconspicuous snakeplant that sat by the coffee pot, the various succulent plants in square pots sitting on the ledge above the sink; Jade had quite the green thumb, able to keep the plants alive while Tori wasn't allowed to touch them in case she accidentally killed them. Still, she loved admiring them from afar, and loved the way they added to their living space.

She was broken from her plant admiration as the coffee pot beeped, indicating that it was finished brewing. She looked over each of the plants once more before turning to the coffee pot and pouring herself a cup (she hoped Jade wouldn't mind her using her favorite Halloween mug). Once she'd fixed it up just how she liked it with milk and sugar, she grabbed the cup and Jade's Monster, before slowly walking back to the bedroom.

"I'm back," Tori called softly, once she'd made it to the edge of the bed and sat down on it. Jade's hand immediately shot out from the bundle of blankets, palm up.

"Right here."

Tori gently placed the can in Jade's palm, but before Jade could get a grasp, she pulled it away. "Actually, nope. I think first you have to come out from under the blanket and kiss me."

Jade groaned, surprising Tori a bit by unburying herself from the blanket after just a moment. Tori almost broke up and laughed at how messy Jade's hair was (matched with her still sleepy and grumpy face), but held her tongue.

"Tori, if you don't hand it over, I won't get up. I'll stay in bed all day."

"Aw, come on Jade, please?" Tori pleaded. She put the can back in Jade's reach, shaking it gently above her hand. Jade glared.

"Do you have your coffee?" Jade asked, and Tori nodded.

"Yes, I have it here," she said, gently holding the cup up.

"Can you put it down for a second?" Jade asked, suddenly a little too sweetly, and Tori's smile faltered a bit.

"Sure..." she said hesitantly, turning to place her coffee and Jade's Monster on the bedside table, her eyes not leaving Jade's hand. As soon as she'd set the drinks down, Jade pounced, grabbing Tori's wrist and pulling her down onto the bed. Tori let out a little squeal, the force having pulled her down right next to Jade on the bed. Jade still smiled a bit too sweetly at Tori.

"Alright, Vega, you want a kiss?" Jade asked, and Tori gave a small nod. Jade leaned in and gave her a kiss on the lips, holding it just long enough to make Tori start to melt, before she pulled back and playfully pushed away from her. Tori was still reeling slightly from it when Jade said, "Now I can have my drink, right?"

Tori smiled and nodded, unable to keep up the playful mood she'd gotten into. "I guess after that kiss, sure."

She sat up and reached for Jade's drink, turning back to hand it over to her girlfriend as she sat up in bed. "Maybe next time I'll make you work a little harder for it, though."

Jade snorted as she opened the can, bringing it to her mouth to take a sip. "No you won't, because you like me too much. Next time you'll be a good girl and give it to me right away."

Tori chuckled (ignoring the light flutter she felt in her stomach from Jade's words). "Well, I do like you a lot, but I also like making you work for me, and you know you like it, too."

Jade feigned a confused face, looking at Tori as she brought her cup to her mouth and took a sip of coffee. "Hmm, do I though? Do I really?"

Tori smirked after she'd taken a drink. "Well, you seemed to like it last night."

Now it was Jade's turn to shoot Tori a smirk. "You screamed my name, though." She let the words linger as she took another sip of her own drink. "Plus, you get so flustered from basically anything I do to you so you're right that I do like it, but it's the flustering you I like. Not working for you."

Tori blinked, confused at the speed of which her plan had clearly backfired on her. "Okay. Yeah, well..." she trailed off, bringing her cup up for another drink instead of trying to come up with a reply. Jade laughed and leaned over, giving Tori a quick kiss on her cheek.

"Don't worry, Vega, you'll get there someday. You just have to work for it."

She let the words linger as she moved to get out of bed with a wink, leaving Tori to just sip at her coffee. After a moment, she composed herself enough to get up and follow Jade out of the bedroom, the pair of them finally able to begin their day.

A/N: Well, fluffy for the most part, lmao. Thanks for reading! c:
