We all know the story "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," right? Well, regardless of which version of the story you think of first (the book, the 1971 movie, or the 2005 movie), a girl like me can't help but think about the few years that Willy Wonka was all alone in his factory without any family or workers to keep him company.

Upon that, I thought to myself, "Willy Wonka was able to build all these machines that can make chocolate bars, a three-course meal gum, and teleport chocolates through television. So, why couldn't he make a little robotic companion for himself? Maybe this companion wouldn't be able to take over the factory for him, but it would act as a talking pet that could give him that idea, and maybe a few others." So, after a little creativity and thought, I came up with that companion myself (one that would better fit the 2005 movie).

Meet Sylvia the robot cat!

She looks like a black cat, only with a 1970s computer system on her chest, hose arms and legs, a grey-ish face and tail, and light-up blue eyes. She also can talk with a high and fluty voice.

She was built about two years after Willy Wonka closed his chocolate factory before the Oompa Loompas came along. This would make her about 13 years old. Because she was built to be a companion, she is very kind and caring towards Willy Wonka, helping him out with any situation and always trying to comfort him when he's feeling low. And if she had given him the idea, she would also show kindness to the five kids even if Wonka didn't.

See how the different the story plays out when Wonka tours the factory alongside his robotic companion.
