An Akuma was attacking the school and everyone and was Chloe being her usual snobby-self tried to push everyone out of the way.
"All of you better move it! My survival is more important than all of yours" Chloe said
Ladybug and Chat noire were fighting an Akuma made out of rock and it had the ability to throw large stones and it seemed to have unlimited ammo. That made it difficult for the two heroes to get in close but they managed to avoid getting hit by the stones.
The Akuma managed to launch a large stone that the heroes dodged but Chloe was too busy trying to get through and didn't even see it coming and Ladybug tried to warn her.
"CHLOE LOOK OUT!" Ladybug shouted
Chloe looked back and saw the large stone coming her way. Ladybug's warning had come too late and Chloe was too slow to react in time and the stone hit her head and to make things even worse the blonde also hit her head on the wall, knocking her out completely.
"Chloe!" Sabrina said
Ms. Bustier, the teacher of the class picked her up and they managed to get outside to safety. Ladybug and Chat Noire managed to defeat and purify the Akuma.
The rest of the class were looking over Chloe after she got knocked out by the Akuma's attack. There was some blood dripping down her head, proving that her head was hit pretty hard.
"Class remain calm and watch over her while I call a hospital" Ms. Bustier said
The class just nodded. They didn't like the blond but they weren't just going to stoop to her level and just leave her here.
An ambulance came and picked up the blonde. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Chloe opened her eyes and saw a white ceiling and heard some beeping machines. She felt that she was lying down on a bed and sat up. She got a painful headache when she did and grabbed her head in pain. She felt a white cloth bandage around her head.
"Was a I injured?" Chloe asked herself
She heard a door open and looked over to see that it was a girl with dark blue hair in two low pigtails.
"Oh, you're up, I'm just here to be see how you were doing. Our teacher suggested that I do but if it wasn't for our teacher, I wouldn't be visiting you at all" The girl said
Chloe tilted her head in confusion.
The girl then looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
"What's with the silence? Usually this is part where you would say something like: I don't need someone like you to be here" The girl said while trying to imitate her voice.
"Um…Who are you?" Chloe asked
The blue haired girl looked at her in surprise.
"What kind of question is that? You know who I am already" The Girl said
"I do?" Chloe asked
"You really don't remember me?" The girl asked
"No, I don't" Chloe said
The girl just sighed.
"Alright, I'll humor you. My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng" Marinette said
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng? That's too long. I'll just call you Marinette" Chloe said
Marinette was taken back by this. Chloe would never call her by her first name so willingly. She was starting to think that Chloe wasn't putting on an act.
Another person had entered the room. It was a boy with blonde hair.
"How is she, Marinette?" The boy asked
The blond boy saw that she was awake.
"Oh thank goodness your awake, Chloe" The boy said
Chloe? What was he talking about? She didn't know anyone named Chloe.
"Um…who are you?" Chloe asked
The boy looked hurt by this question.
"You don't remember? We're friends" The boy said
"Friends? Us?" Chloe asked
The boy nodded.
Marinette intervened and introduced him to her.
"This is Adrian Agreste, he's a classmate of ours" Marinette said
"Adrian" Chloe said
"What's wrong with her Marinette?" Adrian asked
"I think she has amnesia" Marinette said
"Amnesia? You mean she lost her memories?" Adrian asked in concern
The blue haired girl nodded.
"Ok so if you two know me then you must know what my name is right?" Chloe asked
Adrian paused for a moment to collect his thoughts before responding.
"Well you're name is Chloe Bourgeois" Adrian said
"Oh so Chloe is my name" Chloe said
The door opened again and this time it was a man in black suit with a sash around him.
"Oh my darling! You're ok!" The man said as he gave her hug.
The blond haired girl squeaked as the mysterious man hugged.
"I was so worried that you wouldn't wake up" The man said
"W-wait! Who are you?" Chloe asked
The man let go of her and looked at her in shock.
"C'mon darling you remember me right?" The man said
The blond just shook her head.
"I'm sorry Mr. Bourgeois, but appears that your daughter has amnesia" A doctor said as he entered the room.
The man was taken back by this statement.
"Amnesia?! That can't be right!" The man said
Hold on a moment. They said daughter. Does that mean that this man was her father?
"So are you my dad?" Chloe asked
The man turned back around and nodded.
"Yes darling, I am your father, Andre Bourgeois" Andre said
"Mr. Mayor, perhaps it would be best to give her some space" The doctor said
The mayor then glared at the doctor.
"That's nonsense! She's my daughter!" Andre said
"I understand sir, but she's still our patient and we need to run some tests on her to make sure she's ok to go home with you" The doctor said
The mayor was about to fight back but the voice of his daughter stopped him.
"It's fine, let him do his job" Chloe said
The mayor looked at his daughter in shock.
"C-Chloe" Andre said with a stutter
Chloe just continued on.
"It shouldn't be too much trouble to let him check me out. After all that's a doctor's job right?" Chloe asked
The mayor then said name that gave her a sudden headache.
"This is all Ladybug's fault" Andre said
Chloe got a sudden headache and grabbed her head to ease the pain. The doctor saw this and asked everyone to leave right now. They all left and Marinette and Adrian were left by themselves after the mayor left.
"So Chloe really does have amnesia" Adrian said
"It appears so" Marinette said
"We should help her recover her memories" Adrian said
Marinette started to disagree with him on that.
"I don't think that's something we should do" Marinette said
Adrian looked at her with a surprised look. How could she say something like that?
"Why would you say something like that?" Adrian said
"Just think about it for a moment Adrian. You saw her attitude back there. She's a different person entirely now. She doesn't lash out at people like she normally does" Marinette said
"That part is obvious but I want to know what you're getting at" Adrian said
"I'm saying that we need to keep her from regaining her memories" Marinette said
"Why do we need to do that?" Adrian asked
"Think about it. If she can't remember anything then she won't be a bully anymore and more importantly won't cause anymore Akuma attacks in Paras. She was responsible for most of Akuma attacks around Paris" Marinette said
Adrian couldn't deny that what she said was true but in order to do this they needed to sacrifice Chloe's memories of her old life and he thought that doing that would be wrong.
"I understand what you're saying but to sacrifice her memories to do this, I don't think it's right" Adrian said
"Adrian, you need to remember that this is Chloe we're talking about here. We're not doing just for Paras' sake but for her sake as well" Marinette said
Adrian just sighed.
"Fine but you need to be the one to come up with a convincing story for her and I'm not helping you with this. I don't like lying" Adrian said
"Fine, I'll be the one to help her. Wow never imagined I would be helping Chloe of all people" Marinette said
After taking some time to rest and recover Chloe was given permission to go back to school. Marinette actually showed up at the hotel to walk to the school with her.
"Hey Chloe, good morning" Marinette greeted her with a smile.
Chloe managed to remember her name, but she asked just to be sure she had it right.
"You're Marinette, right?" Chloe asked
"That's right! We're friends" Marinette said
The blue haired girl usually hated lying to people but for Chloe she'll make an exception.
"We're friends…? But you were so cold back at the hospital" Chloe said
"O-oh that. I'm sorry about that. Before you lost your memories we got into an fight and we were on the verge of ending our friendship but then I heard about your accident and I was still angry at you but decided to visit you since I still wanted us to have a chance of being friends" Marinette said
"I-Is that so?" Chloe asked in an unsure voice
"Yes, I promise you that this is what happened" Marinette said
Chloe then smiled at her.
"Well then thank you. And I'm sorry if I said anything hurtful during our fight before losing my memories" Chloe said
"No trouble at all" Marinette said
Marinette was hoping that there wouldn't be any trouble on their way to school but today was not her lucky day because they had run into Marinette's best friend, Alya Cesaire.
"Marinette, so glad we could walk into each other" Alya said
She then looked over and saw Chloe was there.
"What are you doing here Bourgeois?" Alya asked
"Huh? Um…going to school. That's what I'm supposed to do right?" Chloe asked
"That's now what meant! What are you doing with Marinette? You just got out of the hospital and you are already up to your old tricks again" Alya said
Chloe had a look of surprise on her face.
"Old…tricks? What do you mean?" Chloe asked
"Don't play innocent you—" Alya started before her mouth was covered by Marinette, who just laughed nervously.
"Um…could you excuse us for a moment?" Marinette asked
The confused blonde just nodded her head. The blue haired girl then dragged her best friend out of ear shot from Chloe.
"Alya, please don't cause a scene" Marinette said
"What do you mean don't cause a scene? Don't forget that Chloe is a bully" Alya said
Marinette sighed and explained Chloe situation to Alya.
"Hold on, Queen bitch has amnesia?" Alya asked
"Don't call her that!" Marinette asked
"But it's true" Alya said
"I know but thanks to her amnesia she doesn't what type of person she is. I want to give her new memories leave the old ones buried. We need to make her think that she was a nice person" Marinette said
Alya eventually caught on to her plan and nodded. If this was going to keep Chloe from bullying others then she was willing to do this.
The two of them then went back over to Chloe.
"I-Is everything ok?" Chloe asked in a nervous tone
She was twirling her hair. Probably a nervous habit that she developed after losing her memories.
"Everything's fine. I was just in a bad mood for a little bit and I really needed to let it out. You were the unfortunate person to receive my rage but now I'm better. Sorry for shouting at you" Alya said
Alya had to admit that apologizing to Chloe of all people was weird but she was willing to do it in order to stop the blonde's bullying once and for all.
"Oh, I see. If you're feeling better, then I'm willing to forgive you. Please be more careful because that might get you into trouble" Chloe said
"Heh of course. Oh, by the way I'm Alya Cesaire, Marinette's best friend" Alya said
They made it to the school and Chloe was told that this was the school.
"This is College Francoise Dupoint" Marinette said
Chloe looked at her friend confused.
"College? Is this a university?" Chloe asked
Alya laughed at her question.
"No that's just the name of the school. It's actually a high school" Alya said
"A high school that has college in the name. How strange" Chloe said
There was a loud voice that hollered Chloe's name. It was Chloe's best friend, Sabrina Raincomprix.
The girl then hugged her.
"I'm so happy you're ok" Sabrina said
"Do strangers normally hug each other?" Chloe asked
Sabrina was taken aback by Chloe's question.
"Strangers? What are you talking about Chloe?" Sabrina asked
Sabrina looked hurt after Chloe said that. The blonde seemed to notice the hurtful look on her face.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings" Chloe said
Sabrina was now convinced that something was wrong with her best friend.
"Marinette what did you do to her?" Sabrina asked
Marinette just explained the details about Chloe's amnesia.
"Amnesia? She lost her memory?" Sabrina said
The girl then went back up to Chloe and introduced herself to her.
"My name is Sabrina Raincomprix and I'm your best friend" Sabrina said
"Best friend? Were we close?" Chloe asked
Sabrina nodded.
"Oh yeah super close" Sabrina said
The others decided it was time for everyone to get to class and Chloe had a feeling it would be a long and tiring day.
