He was tired. He wasn't scared, nor angry, not even was he holding any grudges at the moment. He just wanted to go to his apartment and curl up in a ball on his bed, even if the lumps on it were so big that he can remember all of them from the back of his mind, count sheep and forget this day when he woke up. Chalk it up to his usual luck and go on about his life.

But he knew, almost more than anyone else life didn't work like that, that the things he wanted, even simple ones like wanting to go to bed, were not going to happen unless he fought and bled for it. It's been like that for the few years since he donned a mask, donned a stupid piece of fabric that always seemed more trouble than it was worth.

So Peter Parker sighed as he stood up on the roof he seemed to land on. How did he even get this high? All he remembered was the lab he was in, the pain he was in, and the satisfaction of turning a grin into fear. Only to stop himself, only to hear a gunshot and somehow getting pulled by an unknown force.

But he wasn't really like that, who could have hurt him so much that he wanted to see the fear on his face? He always has a joke, he was the carefree funnyman of any group, any team up and every time he had to fight any woman or man that caused any amount of chaos.

Then he remembered the red eyes, the pitch black hair, the pale face, and that awful awful 1970s suit that somehow went out of style before it was even made. "Morlun." he growled, as he held his stomach in pain. The monster hunting Spider-Men all around the multiverse, only for his own damn hunger. Just saying that name sent a chill down his spine almost as strong as his own Spider-Sense.

It was night when he finally defeated the overpowering monster, so he must have passed out for a few hours if the sun was already this high in the sky. It was a wonder nobody found him already considering he was in the city that never….

"This isn't New York." He looked around, noticing the buildings were not as high as the ones in his home state. The few billboards he could spot were written in a logogram that he could not decipher. "That or Chinatown somehow grew by a wide margin overnight."

His appreciation for the colorful place he was currently in was cut short when he heard some kind of explosion on the horizon, seeing the quickly rising smoke, he leapt off the building he was in, letting gravity take hold for a second he made the same finger sign he has done for the past eight years, hearing the same 'Thwip!' a web shot out from apparently nowhere towards the wall of the adjacent buildings as he used them to swing his way towards the smoke.

'Oh god! Morlun is back at using civilians again!' He thought, trying to get to the fire as fast as possible, remembering how the monster has used civilians in order to fight Peter more than once that night.

Reaching the roof he was sort of relieved to not find the multiversal threat anywhere around. Only to focus on the situation down below on the street. Some kind of sludge villain was holding a fifteen year old hostage, as it seemed explosions were coming from the kids hands. He could also see a group of people gathered to watch as someone with what appeared to have wood powers saved a few civilians from the raging fires, as a few of the people closer to the sludge appear to have costumes themselves.

'Ok, either I forgot that the latest Comic-Con was today and in wherever the hell I am, or these heroes are just standing there doing nothing.' Which kind of weirded Peter out since not ever has he seen a hero just stand there and do nothing as if waiting for someone else to come and solve the problem.

He was about to step in when he saw some green curly hair part through the crowds as he made his way towards the sludge. 'Oh crud….'

Izuku Midoriya didn't know what he was doing at the moment, he just started running without a plan towards the same villain that attacked him just earlier today, the same villain that almost killed him by asphyxiation. He just saw his childhood friends eyes asking for help, and he just wanted to save him. His run however was caught short when he felt himself being tackled to the air as a red and blue figure swung towards and caught him by the stomach, making him lose the air in his lungs.

"Sorry, man, though I think this was the best case scenario considering you could've been captured by Sewerman back there as well." He heard, though he couldn't really understand what was being said as he looked at the person that somehow managed to catch him and make both of them airborne.

Getting back on solid ground, Izuku watched as this person, garbed in a red costume on the front, with the costume on the back being blue with the exception on the red spider, faced the villain, earning the curiosity of the people looking by.

"Who is he?"

"...new hero…"

"What can he do that Death Arms can't…"

Even All Might on the back stopped his mental berating with himself at the sight of the new guy, someone that looked a little too young to be a Pro Hero, in shock. Now not only did he have to deal with the villain, the Quirkless fanboy, but now also with a potential vigilante.

"Ok, I know you probably have some vendetta against spiky blonde here, but I don't really see the reason to try and choke the kid, you know?" He commented. "What? He owed you money or something?"

Silence was all he was met with, looking around, he noticed the few people on their phones taking videos of him quietly, while the main players stared at him wide eyed. "Is there something on my face?"

"What!?" Was all he got in return, from a few sources to be honest, from a few of the heroes around and the sludge himself.

"Oh right, language barrier." Peter responded to himself. "But it's no fun when you aren't getting flustered when I talk smack at you."

Sighing again, he noticed the green all over the kids mouth and nose, probably cutting off oxygen from the little man. "You know, what? I'm kind of glad you can't understand me, because I am dead tired and really want to go to bed so if you'll excuse me…."

Peter grabbed one of his cartridges from his belt, before rushing towards the trapped kid as he heard some shouts of warning he couldn't understand. Landing a fist on the guy, the sludge could only chuckle at the wasted effort of the new guy.

"You know, you kind of got a little annoying attitude about you. Maybe I'll steal your body instead."

"I hope you just said some nice things for the camera, cause if this worked on Hydroman, then it's definitely going to work on you." Peter responded, only to crush the web cartridge inside of the villain, making the web fluid instantly expand and harden inside of the sludge man.

Removing his hand, Peter quickly managed to use the hardened webbing to make the sludge move around and release the captured boy, as the blonde went to his knees and greedily sucked in the most amount of oxygen his lungs allowed him. "D-damn it!" was all the sludge man managed to say before being completely hardened from the inside, immobilizing him and ending the threat.

Letting go of a breath he was silently holding, Peter looked down towards the spiky haired kid he just saved, who was on his hands and knees coughing while trying to get as much oxygen in his lungs as possible. "You doing ok, kid?"

He heard a low growl coming from the downed blonde. "W-who*huff* you *huff* calling *huff* 'kid'?!" Said the spiky haired kid in broken English. As he looked back up to the spider themed hero.

"Relax man, breathe. Saw that you were there for more than a couple of seconds there." He said as he crouched down and put a hand to the blondes back. "Probably also holding your breath because of that guy's smell, huh."

"Didn't need help!" He growled, obviously shaken from the experience.

"Whatever you say, chief. Nice English by the way." Peter responded, not really seeing any reason to fight with the kid he just saved. "But your power was what caused most of these fires, so I think it's better if you let someone else take care of it."

Standing back up, he decided to let the kid have some space, even though he heard some sort of angry retort behind him, which he mostly ignored since the kid reverted back to his mother language. He was met with stares from the crowd that had gathered and watched the entire thing unfold. Without the worry of saving the blonde he was able to notice a giant lady staring back at him, clearly she had intended to get to the scene before him but couldn't due to the people that she could've crushed if she wasn't careful. 'Huh, must've missed the memo of Hank deciding to share Pym Particles to other heroes.'

Looking to his left, he noticed what seemed to be a living firetruck of a man as the guy was working to turn off the fires the blonde inadvertently caused. Stepping forward he crouched in front of the green haired kid, conscious of the stares everyone was still giving him. "Hey kid, you're not hurt, right?"

He looked dumbly at him, before registering the question and blushing. "Y-y-y-yeah, I mean, y-yes sir."

"Sir? You're going to make me feel old, kid." He chuckled, as he saw the green haired kid's blush get bigger. "Brave thing you did back there. Running to save your friend there."

Izuku was expecting some sort of lecture from the debuting hero, how it was irresponsible and even suicidal. What he didn't expect was to be called brave. When he had his talk with All Might and he told him he couldn't be a hero, he didn't expect to receive a compliment for acting dangerously. "Maybe don't rush into things so much without a plan next time, though. Talking from experience here."

The green haired kid's brain couldn't really respond to that. Did this guy really say next time? Does that mean this guy saw him as someone who could be a hero? "O-ok." Finally getting out of the stupor he could see clearly the mask that Peter was wearing was damaged in various places. He could see patches of brown hair sticking out at some points, and only one lens was still in the mask, even though it was cracked, making Izuku see clearly Peter's left eye staring directly at Izuku's green ones. Looking down, he could also spot the rest of the costume was teared in some places with some dried blood on some spots.

He was about to ask himself why he went headfirst into another battle after clearly coming out of another one when he remembered part of his conversation with All Might. "...Pro heroes are always on the move..." part of him wanted to take out his notes for heroing for the future until he remembered something else All Might said. "...You can't be a hero without a quirk..."

"D-do-do you think I can be hero with no quirk?!" Midoriya stammered, staring at the brown eye of the guy who saved him and Kaachan.

The question took aback the red clad man. The surprise in the eye of the hero made Izuku expect for him to say no, like any other person that he has asked the question too, and he shot his eyes in preparation as he felt the tears rushing back. Peter, noticing the look of hurt the green haired kid was sporting made Peter have a small smile. Reaching up with his right hand, the New Yorker put it on top of the messy green curls. Seeing the shock he received he closed his eyes and his smile grew. "Of course. You just need to be smarter than the average bear." Peter said, opening his eyes to see green ones opened wide. "You may or may not save the world, but you can be the best you can and you'll be a hero in my book."

Lightly ruffling the kids scalp, Peter pushed himself to a standing position. "Um, the webbing only lasts an hour so you'll probably want to take water waste over there to a more stable prison." He shouted at the crowd, hoping any of the other costumed people at least had contacts to the police and understood what he said. He did speak slower than usual as apparently English wasn't the mother language wherever he was.

Before he made his way out of the scene he heard the kid scream "Thank you!" turning back he kid and gave him a thumbs up with a smile visible through the torn up lower portion of the mask. Jumping high, Peter spun a web towards the closest building and made his way away from the scene. As he left, the silence in the scene was finally broken as the crowd cheered the successful debut of the new hero.

"...SO COOL…"

"...one punch!..."

"...very manly…"

The crowd shouted over each other and celebrated, making the costume heroes kind of embarrassed as the fires were still somewhat there, even if Backdraft already handled most of them. Making his way towards the quirkless kid, Death Arms began his speech about the danger he was almost in.

Izuku for the most part ignored the respected Pro Hero, still looking at the way Peter left with teary eyes and a shaky smile on his face. Because now he knew, even if no doctor, not his idol, not his own mother believed in his dream, there was a person that believed that he could be a hero even if he didn't have a quirk.

Even after the reporters started shuffling towards the scene and the police were able to capture the villain before the webbing dissolved, Izuku felt more confident in his dream than he was this morning, not noticing a blonde hero followed the brunette away from the scene.

Peter was making his way around town, still trying to figure out where exactly he was at the moment. In the middle of a swing he felt the small tingle of his Spider-Sense in the back of his skull. The ringing was low enough so that he could recognize he was not in danger but rather…

Stopping on top of one of the smaller buildings, he shouted "You know, it's kind of rude to start following someone without their consent."

All Might stopped behind the red clad man in his strong form as Peter turned around. Chuckling at the young man, he put his hands on his hips. "My apologies, young man!" He responded in perfect English. Making Peter glad that he could finally have a conversation without having to go slower when he talked. "Nice work with the villain back there! Thank you for being there when I failed."

Peter was a little taken aback for the compliment. Normally when he saved anyone he was met with angry people and a lot of curse words, somehow expanding his vocabulary on the obscene side of things. "Okaaay? You're welcome I guess." He said, before shaking away his confusion. "But I really doubt you followed me here just to say thanks."

"Ah, an astute observation." All Might responded. "I just wanted to ask you some questions young man."

To be honest, Peter really didn't want to answer any questions, but if this man was fast enough to keep up with his swing in what appeared to be civilian clothes, then Peter didn't want to fight him, he had enough of that yesterday with Morlun. "Ok, I'll bite. I just want to go home soon."

"What's your name, young man?"

"Spider-Man." He answered immediately, walking to the wall that had the door to get to the roof and sticking his feet there. It wasn't as good as sitting down, but it was better than standing up for his tired body. "And stop it with the young man already. You look like you might be five years older than me."

"Oh? And how old are you then?"

"Too personal." Peter responded. "See this mask? Not much good if everyone knew who I was underneath, in fact, if we're playing twenty questions then I suppose I should ask some as well, it's only fair."

"I-I don't see why…"

"What's YOUR name, blondie? Mr. Muscles? Captain Iron? Mr. Clean?" Peter questioned back, even if it was only to distract All Might so he wouldn't insist on personal questions.

Unknown to Peter, his question shocked All Might, and rightly so. He was the number 1 hero in all of Japan. He has done more interviews than he could remember, his name and face was all over the place, toys, banners, posters, and more. And this young man, who looked no older than that Midoriya kid was saying he didn't know who he was. "All Might." He decided to humor the question, thinking the kid was messing with him. "The number one hero in Japan."

"Kind of presumptions calling yourself number one." Peter responded quickly, not being able to see the slight shock in All Might's eyes. "Though I guess I can't really judge since I do sometimes call myself 'Amazing'."

Toshinori couldn't believe this kid, his name sounded all over the world. He was recognized by his smile alone and the kid didn't even muster a response that said that he was messing with him. "Though from what you said I guess we're in Japan, huh?"

"You're messing with me." All Might responded. This was the clue he needed, how could a kid not know he was in Japan if he had to get here in the first place.

"You know if I was messing with you, dude." Peter stated seriously. "I would probably start with the antennae your hair seems to make."

He didn't know if it was shock, or the time limit of his power, but All Might started coughing some blood, making Peter look shocked and ask if he was ok as smoke began to power down. 'Damn it! Not again!' He chastised himself.

"And I guess your power ran off." Peter said as he looked at the previously muscle bound man. "Thought you should probably take better care of yourself since you look just skin and bones."

That definitely sealed the deal, this kid had no idea who All Might was, no reaction to him powering down, anyone else would've freaked out, probably more than that Midoriya kid, but this red clad man just took it in stride like it was nothing. "Also you didn't respond, are you ok? Need an ambulance or something?"

"I-I'm fine." All Might responded, a little stunned by the lack of reaction the young man was showing, even if he could just see his eye and mouth. "Now, where were we?" Though depowered and stunned he still has some questions for the young man. "If you say we're close to the same age, you must've already graduated, correct?"

"You talking high school, right?" Peter countered. "If so, yes. Not like being Spider-Man leaves much time for college."

"So you have your hero license, then?"

"My what license?" Peter questioned, finally showing more confusion than concern towards the blonde man.

"Your hero license. The things that tell people you can legally use your quirk to protect civilians." All Might responded calmly, seeing his suspicions of Peter being a vigilante begin to resurface.

"Sorry, All Fright, first time I've ever heard of this thing." Peter responded, ignoring the small groan of annoyance coming from the blonde at getting his name wrong. "So I'm guessing no I don't have one, and from you questioning I can infer that you kind of need that to do what I just did back there."

"You're a smart kid." All Might said "Saving civilians without a license in vigilantism, which is illegal. Thankfully nobody asked and it looked like you were a Pro hero doing his debut." All Might was also thankful that Peter decided to use a full face mask, making it hard to see just how young the kid was from afar, even if he lied about being close to All Might's age.

"Kind of knew that one already, why do you think I try to avoid being in the same place as cops." Peter responded, getting another shock from the blonde man before remembering this man didn't even know he was in Japan before. "You'd think knife and bullets tears would be almost the same to patch up, but you'd be surprised if you knew the truth."

That made Toshinori scowl a little. Sure, vigilantism may be illegal, but to actually shoot the kid because of it? Maybe he needed to make a tour in America and set it right. "R-right. Normally you'd be sent to a police station and be prosecuted, but you seem like a nice kid, maybe they will let you off with a warning."

Peter looked surprised at the other man. "Uh, you'd say that but really I just want to go back home." He scratched the back of his head. "Not like I don't appreciate the forwardness of you trying to bring me in, but not really my style."

All Might sighed, he knew from the moment he said it, it would be misinterpreted. "Relax, young man. Like I said, it looked like you were making your debut as a Pro hero. No need to take it to the police for the moment." He saw the other man wipe a fake sweat drop as a sign that he understood. If he was being honest, Peter defined what All Might was looking for in a successor, even if he was only able to see him only for a few hours. He would've offered to train him if it wasn't for a certain young green haired boy beating him to the punch. "You just have to go to a hero school, let yourself be molded to a fine Pro hero and you'll get your license in only three years. I could even say a few words to get you in some of the best…"

"I'm going to have to stop you right there, Christian Bale, I told you I already graduated, I don't think I'm going back to school." Peter said as he got off the wall. "Second, hero school? What, do you consider being a hero a full time job or something?"

"Well…" All Might started, surprised for the umpteenth time today, not what he expected to happen the day he moved to Musutafu. It was common knowledge that Pro heroes were paid for their efforts, even if before it was a common place of debate. "Yes kid, if you're a Pro hero you get paid for saving people."

Now it was Peter's turn to look confused. 'Did the Fantastic Four lie about that?' He thought as he remembered the first time he met the timeless team. 'I mean, that would totally be Johnny's style, but I don't see Reed playing along with it.' Shaking the doubt away, Peter assured himself that even if they lied, they would've corrected themselves after so many battles together. 'Must work differently here.'

"Well can't say this has been an interesting experience, Might Guy, but if we're done here then I'll be on my merry way." Peter excused himself as he turned his back and prepared to jump off the roof he was on.

"Everything I told you is just common knowledge here, kid." The blonde hero responded. "Not just in Japan, everywhere else as well. Honestly, I find it hard to believe a teenage vigilante like you not know of all of this." He took a step forward. "You look like you've been through hell. Let me help you, because I doubt having to be in a place where you don't even know the language is hard on your own." He said. Even if he moved to Japan with his parents, All Might doubted his guardians knew of the extra curricular activities their son took part in, and the scars and blood might be hard to explain.

Part of Peter considered the idea. He didn't want to roam around aimlessly trying to get back home. If he was in Japan, then it just wasn't a swing away to get to the apartment. He had no passport, and no money, hell, he left his wallet at the apartment since he only left to finish his fight with Morlun after a costume change. But then Peter remembered what happened to the last person that helped him. How he couldn't find Ezekiel's body in the sea even after 30 minutes of searching for it.

Sure, it's not like this guy was asking to help him in a fight, but the point still stands. Peter just seemed to have bad luck trusting people, since they either turn on him, or end up hurt because of him. "There's a catch. There's always a catch." He told the older man. "Guessing you want to know who I am behind the mask or something like that."

"Astute, as well." All Might said, getting a smile from the young man. "Stop this vigilantism. Even if you say that you already graduated I can see you can no older than 16, so let me help you get into a hero school-"

"No deal." Peter responded, getting a cough from the older man that made him spit out some blood. "Look I get trying to help me, but like I said, I'm almost as old as you, and I have a life to get back to in New York. You can't expect me to drop it all in order to go back to school." Spinning a web, he went back to the older man. "It's not like I don't appreciate it, but Spider-Man is needed, so Spider-Man is staying."

Jumping from the rooftop, Peter left the symbol of peace as he was trying to explain something to him. Ignoring it, Peter went to look around the colorful place he was currently stuck in. Wondering just what in hell he was going to do to get back, he didn't fail to notice a little girl crying for her cat currently stuck in a tree.

Getting lower, he landed on the same branch as the kitten, being careful not to startle the animal. Picking it by the back, Spider-Man jumped off the branch, waiting for the surprised girl to take the cat back. Seeing the bright smile light up from the probably eight year old brought a fuzzy feeling as she hugged the cat with all her might, much to the feline's discomfort. "Thank you very much, sir."

Giving a two finger salute towards the young kid as a sign that he understood, Peter started jumping high up to spin another web, much to the girls amazement, nobody really noticing the amount of phones filming the possibility of a new hero going around and showing off.

"In recent news a new vigilante was spotted running around Musutafu today." Midoriya always watched the news with his mother. It was a sort of family tradition, the only difference was that he wasn't really paying attention today. Normally he would be solely focusing on the screen, hoping to see any exciting hero moments being mentioned, but today he couldn't as just a few hours ago All Might agreed to train him in order to get his quirk 'One For All'. He could barely contain his smile as he watched silently with his mother.

"-zuku? Izuku? Are you ok?" asked Inko Midoriya, the short mother of one staring concerned at her only son. "You are spacing out there, smiling at the vigilante." She said as Izuku finally concentrated and looked at his mother. "I don't want you to get any ideas about being a vigilante," She said with concern. "Even if you somehow are not accepted at UA, please don't follow in that guy's footsteps."

Looking at the screen again in confusion, Izuku finally concentrated on the news. "...this news has been given away by the Woods Hero Agency as Kamui Woods himself stated the status of what was originally believed of a new hero debut." Looking at the footage presented by the news, Izuku saw the hero that saved Kaachan and himself from the sludge villain. He was shocked to see the first person to believe that Izuku could become a hero turned out to be a vigilante.

"O-of course, mom." Midoriya Izuku answered back, thankfully she didn't see his shock as her eyes went back to the various videos of small crimes and troubles being taken care of by the red and blue figure. Looking back again, he was able to tell from the various scenes that the guy must have helped people since the beginning of the day all the way through until sun down. From children almost running into traffic, to helping an old lady cross the street, the guy seemed to be everywhere that was troubled.

Watching the scenes unfold, but not really paying attention Izuku couldn't help but feel like the guy in red and blue was doing things he wanted to do after getting his hero license. While most hero's debut by taking down a villain, or rescuing lives, this one showed the small things heroes can do that are not attention grabbing. But it was exactly what Midoriya wanted to do, especially since he was quirkless. He wanted to help and save people, even if it meant having to battle a villain to do it.

Peter stayed perched on the wall of one of the tallest buildings in Musutafu. Looking down at the street, he couldn't help but marvel at the lights coming from the streets. How alive everything looked from up here, yet he couldn't let his mind wander anymore than the minimum. 'How the hell do I go back? I would also ask how did I get here, but Uncle Ben beat it in me to not duel on the past.'

No documentation, no money, and the only clothes were a skin tight costume that offered little to no protection for when the cold comes. Peter Parked was alone in a place he couldn't recognize.

But he wasn't just Peter Parker, he was also Spider-Man, and something that his time as Spider-Man taught him is that he always gets back up.

Looking down one more time, Peter crawled to the top to try to get some sleep in the tallest roof of the place, where it was least likely he'd get disturbed. And as he curled up on himself he couldn't help but let his feelings rush him. He wasn't angry, and he wasn't scared. He was just tired.
