Chapter 27

A Festive Future

After Leo introduced himself yesterday Kiralexia was still steaming. Even Ashido nor even Toga couldn't brighten his mood up. When Leo himself talked to Kiralexia, Kiralexia responded with a punch through the wall and then stormed off into his room, where he barricaded himself up there for the rest of the day then. After night had fallen, Kiralexia looked into the air and sighed. If he really were to figure things out, he'd have to contact with HIM. He stood up and went back down noticing everyone talking with Leo and enjoying his presence, when he wasn't kicking there asses. He sighed and when Leo stood up to great him Kiralexia gave a simple gesture to him. He let his arm out to him and he shook it.

It may not have been much, but to Kiralexia, it was showing he'd be willing to talk again. After the night passed, it was Christmas morning and everyone was in a festive holiday spirit. Kiralexia awoke from the couch with a sleeping Toga lying next to his head with Ashido behind him. He cracked his neck, stood up and stretched. Today was gonna be a decent day for Kiralexia. At least that's what he wanted it to be. Afterall this would be the first Christmas he'd celebrate without his friends nor family here. He went outside to enjoy the nice winter breeze, on normal days it'd be average to some but on Christmas, it felt special. Toga had awoken to and she went out to stand next to Kiralexia to, both looked to the sky both confused and also somberly. Both knew this would not be the best Christmas, but they'd make it be a good one.

Once they got back in Leo wasn't around and Ilda had informed him he went out to get something, strange but not unlike him to do that. Kiralexia then decided that before the dinner and other festivities happened he'd enjoy his time with everyone. Afterall he did get special gifts for everyone, but did not want them to know of it. Thus games were played, Kiralexia shared stories, and overall it was a good time. Then time came to prepare dinner. Kiralexia was in the chicken and told everyone HE'D prepare the meal and did not want to celebrate with KFC, at least let it not be ONLY thing. He had gotten ham, made personal stuffing, cranberries for himself and a few others, and even Potatoes and an assortment of veggies and fruits. He made room with a show of making the table big and have a nice tarp on it, making candelabras, and setting everything by tossing it in such a way where it landed in the right spot. Then all the food was placed, KFC to, and all sat down excited to try the food, even the 'special dish' Kiralexia prepped in private. Once everyone was seated Kiralexia got there attention and cleared his own throat before speaking.

"Ladies and Gentlemen that surround me here. I have a few things here to speak of before we eat. First I must thank everyone here for being surprisingly open minded of my existence, I feared you would've thrown me out at first glance. But you didn't and for that I am thankful. Second I must give a toast to Mai Hatsume for bringing me back to health and keeping me maintained." Kiralexia said pointing to Mei Hatsume who entered in later and smiled at her baby. "Were it not for her I would not be standing here right now. Another I must say is that these last few weeks, hell months have been some of the most strangest and also pleasant and disturbing days I have ever walked on this earth. It is because of all of you that I can say that with both glee, and concern. Ashido here has been probably my best friend in these times, and Midoriya is nice to talk to. Hell all of you are nice to talk to." Kiralexia then paused for a second before continuing. "The only thing that I would change would be having my old friends here. Yet today I shall toast in there honor and honor of the Militia. Wherever they hide, I do hope to find them soon. Now then, let us feast." Kiralexia said sitting down and grabbing his utensils.

Everyone began to eat the meal graciously. It was large and when Leo DID finally arrive, he ate at a seat near Kiralexia. As everyone ate, Kiralexia's mind was on other matters. However for now he'd bother with THAT later, and just be happy being here. After everyone finished the meal and sighed of happiness, they began to move to the living room where Kiralexia had begun to move gifts around. He piled them with everyone who had names, a few had a fricking small mountains worth like Yaoyorozu, and then Mineta had a puddle. Hey at least he had more then TWO, both of which were from Kiralexia and Leo. Kiralexia hand gave his gifts to the group and told them not to open them till the very end. Leo said the same thing and both had a rock paper scissors bout to figure out who. It ended in a tie and both agreed that both will be open near the end.

Once that was agreed upon everyone began opening presents like mad. Due to the large amount of gifts Yaoyorozu had everyone agreed she could open two at a time while everyone else was one. Kiralexia opened his from Mina and was happy to see a very nice looking Necklace. It had a ruby in it and a dragon over it with a tail wrapping it at the bottom. Kiralexia thanked Mina for it and she smiled. Midoriya got a few games and other items, such as an All Might collectible, of course and everyone had an assortment of items. Now it was on to the items Leo and Kiralexia gave everyone else. Mineta was the first to open his and both were a book on how to Human. Kiralexia just looked at Leo as he did the same and just raised an eyebrow.

"How did we both get him the same book?" Kiralexia asked which Leo just shrugged at.

After that Mina got a set of punk makeup from Kiralexia and an item to help with her acid from Leo. The item in question was basically just wrist gun that could withstand the acid to be shot out from much further away. She thanked them put it on, and Kiralexia immediately told her NOT IN THE DORMS. When she let her arm down Yaoyorozu got a device of some sort that dispensed a little cake into her hands, that was from Leo and he told her, it would help keep her charged and ready for battle ALTHOUGH the item itself needed to be filled. Well at least it was something and as for what Kiralexia got her, it was a pair of earrings in the shape of little stars. No real reason other than he just thought they fit.

As you can see, you understand where this is leading. Items Kiralexia got them were simple bits and bobs that didn't aid them in a fight but were nice to show he at least cared for them enough to get them that. Although it should be noted that Bakugou and Kirishima BOTH got basically joke items from Leo. The boxes were cylindrical and Kiralexia immediately became concerned.

"Did you give them whiskey or something?" Kiralexia asked a bit worried.

"Nah it's be more of a rectangle if that were the case. Also this is for you." Leo responded handing a bottle of whiskey to Kiralexia.

He grabbed it and smiled making a happy noise. As for the items in question to Kirishima and Leo, well. He for some reason gave the two, lube bottles, and big ones at that. Both of there were immediately confused and also a little weirded out, while everyone else was just snickering like mad. Kiralexia was trying his best holding in his laughter but even he was confused by THIS.

"Care to explain why you gave them this?"

"Well it's for when there in bed, you never know when they'll need it." Leo responded quickly making Kiralexia stifle a laugh.

"Hey, I get Kirishima but does Bakugou LOOK like a bottom to you?"

"All of the men who are hard outside of bed are weak inside it, therefore he's a bottom."Leo said making Kiralexia chuckling and holding his laughter in even harder.

Everyone at this point was laughing, except for Bakugou and Kirishima who were a mix between red faced and pissed. Okay the pissed side was Bakugou mainly BUT STILL. Kiralexia and Leo began to hear crackling from right next to them and saw Bakugou over looming them prepared to rip them apart. Seconds later the two now had heads just looking like they went through a blast zone, with smoke coming off both of them. Kiralexia coughed with a bit of smoke coming off and Leo just said:

"Worth it. here's your real gift though."

At that moment both were given different items, one for Bakugou was a box of fireworks, Kiralexia gave the same and both were for new years. Kirishima was given gauntlets that allowed his punches to punch harder, he tried of Kiralexia but no dent and Kiralexia said keep it in the ring. Anyways everyone got gifts from Leo that helped with there quirks in some form or fashion, such as a brace for the legs AND arms for Midoriya so he didn't break them, pen tablet gloves for Uraraka to hold items without them floating away, and a bracelet that allowed Hagakure to actually be visible. She began to cry when they were handed to her and everyone began to comfort her. Leo did say that when she got a better grasp of her quirk THOSE would supplement for her until then. She thanked him and shit even Kiralexia agreed that was super nice, all he got her was a headband and a sweatshirt with a cats face on it. Once everyone had there items from the two everyone was happy as all hell, all except for Kiralexia. Who while glad he got some damn good stuff from everyone, even a few games and an item from Mei Hatsume, he still felt lost. He decided that while everyone tried out the items Leo gave them, except Bakugou, he went outside.

He stood outside and looked into the night sky rather contently. He held the bottle of whiskey Leo gave him in his hands and looked down at it with a face of sorrow. He then took a swig of it and looked outside. He then heard the door behind him open and looked behind him. It was Leo coming out to great him. He scoffed and looked back out to the main building. Leo then stood beside him and looked at the same thing.

"So, how has life really treated you Kiralexia?"

"Oh fantastically, especially when YOUR sorry ass is here." Kiralexia snapped at Leo which Leo just sighed and looked at him seriously.

"You're not going to forgive me are you?"

"What for giving my daughter a set of knives? By the way GREAT Idea, that's definitely not gonna make Midoriya and the others scared shitless."

"But did you see how happy she was, I'd say that was a great gift." Leo responded as he looked in to see Toga smiling like mad as she held one of her knives. Kiralexia scoffed once more and Leo just gave a more solemn look to him.

"Look I know what's bothering you and I can explain myself."

"Explain yourself? Explain yourself?! Try saying that to my brother, the woman I loved, the millions of lives the died because YOU WEREN'T THERE!"

"I get it you're mad and I-"

"Mad? Try livid with rage! I had spent almost six goddamn years under a fucking tree! There was no way for me to get out of that situation and I was alone all by myself. All of THAT happened because you never bothered to show up during the damn war and wanted to play fucking spy!" Kiralexia spat at Leo with his eyes starting hard at Leo. Leo didn't really budge and instead allowed Kiralexia to berate him, however he still tried to talk some sense into him.

"Well I was gathering information that would be useful to you and the Militia in the future."

"And look were we are now. The Militia is gone, nothing exists of it in Japan, only broken records and forgotten outposts. Ya a lot of good that FUCKING DID!" Kiralexia retorted before looking down at the ground with a furrowed brow. Leo looked down to and cracked his neck before looking at Kiralexia give a heavy sigh.

"Feel better?" Leo asked making Kiralexia look over at him with his brow still furrowed.

He then slammed his right arm into Leo's face and kicked him in the shin making Leo kneel to the ground wincing in pain. Kiralexia sighed less heavily taking a swig from his whiskey and his eyebrows became unfurrowed. As Leo began to bleed from the mouth slightly, Kiralexia became less angered and more mournful, kneeling down on the porch step.

"I've lost everything Leo. My friends, my family, even, even Rose Dawn, there all gone. I am all alone." Kiralexia said sorrowfully as he looked up to the sky. Leo looked up to and began to stand back up.

"Gone from Japan yes, but they aren't gone from the world Kiralexia."

"THAT I get, for they were not people who would kneel to All For One's forces so easily. Especially my brother. However, that is my issue, I know not were they are, if I had known I'd already go searching for them but since I do not know, they are lost to me."

"Well there's still ONE in Japan." Leo said making Kiralexia scoff a bit.

"Please, as if SHE'D have any information useful to me. Plus if she really knew, don't you think she'd already come over to me to hand that over already?"

"Well to be fair UA STILL claims you're a 'special Project.' so I doubt she thinks you're alive EVEN with your little Whistle blower moment you had." Leo explained making Kiralexia raise an eyebrow and tilt his head a bit before accepting it.

"Fair enough. Still if anything came up, I'd be glad to find at least ONE clue to where they are now, or even what happened after my departure. I understand the disappearance and other events BUT I do not know how well organized or who even participated in it. If I knew that I could piece it all together. Sadly that may not happen yet nor for a while." Kiralexia said looking down once again saddened.

Leo then began to look around also looking a little saddened before coming to a revelation. He turned around and began to head inside. However before he went in he turned once more to Kiralexia still moping about on the step. He looked inside and saw all the new faces he had met and made friends with.

"Well look on the bright side you've made new friends and reunited with a family member so things are gonna be good. Oh and if you want any info there is a flash drive from the night with the Eternals in the whiskey bottle. My client already has a copy so I decided to get one just for one." Leo said making Kiralexia stand up and turn to him in shock.

He looked at the bottom of the bottle and even though it was hard to make out, there was an object at the bottom of it. Oh he was gonna be SO drunk tonight, or at least a little tipsy. He looked back at Leo and was gonna say something but Leo had already opened the door and was beginning to enter.

"Merry Christmas." He said before leaving Kiralexia alone.

Kiralexia looked at the bottle of whiskey and smirked a bit. Though one thought did cross his mind, if that was information on the Militia, what was it doing in the hands of the Eternals? That did not bode well with him at all but for now he would not bother. He simply sighed and looked to the sky seeing the moon in a crescent in the sky and just gave a somber look.

"Wherever you are brother we will be reunited. Hell ALL of the Militia will be reunited soon. However for now that will not happen, have a happy Yule Brother." Kiralexia said to the sky before turning and beginning to enter the building.

After that the night was a nice and quite one, with Kiralexia finishing the bottle of whiskey and laughing like a mad man as Kaminari was trying out his police stun wires charged by himself. He somehow short circuited and became brain dead making everyone laugh. It was a nice night, far from the last but for now, till the new year came, Kiralexia was going to enjoy the last few moments of the year with this new family.
