Chat stared at Marinette from afar, her small pigtails going up and down from the breeze that night, which from his own perspective, was purrfect. He chuckled to himself, realizing that he made puns even on his own occasion, a silly habit that he had gotten used to as chat.

They had gotten into an argument the night before, a simple decision on why he shouldn't be sacrificing himself for ladybug constantly. The frustrating night went through his head, and regrettably the moment he had yelled at the good friend of his.

"You cant constantly SAVE ladybug. You cant sacrifice yourself all the time chat!", marinette told him as small tears went down her face. Chat had turned around to her, a face that said disappointment , recognizable from even a mile away.

"I trust ladybug..with my life. And there's nothing I wouldn't do for her", he responded boldly. Marinette had shrunk, although flattered by chats remarks, it bothered her to see chat constantly die in front of her. Constantly, and constantly till it felt like an exhaustion that ripped her up of her state of focus.

"But she cant...do it without you, and what if ..she cant bring you back?", marinette said. Walking toward the superhero.

"Then it was for Paris..and I wouldn't be prouder of myself and for our city"

That's when marinette had lost it. For once the tension was dying out. But chat had added that fuel to the fire.

"You not a soldier!!", the small teen had said.

"Then what the heck do you think a superhero is?!".

"A protector".

"And so is a soldier. I may not have a fancy blue attire, or pins to show how much I've fought for Paris, but superhero's protect their cities, and if that means protecting ladybug, I wouldn't think twi!-"

"Stop!", marinette had yelled, putting her head in her hands in defeat, she sobbed. Chat had looked at her sorrowfully before embracing her into a hug.

"Mari, you've been my friend for years..and i know how much you don't want me to go, but its what i signed up for when i put on this ring."

"Your duty was to assist ladybug, not be her freaking bodyguard".Chat had stayed still, releasing her from the hug.

"Well then i guess we think differently".

The superhero had left without another word, the trapdoor slamming on his way out. Marinette broke down in her room. Sobs seeming to echo in the house

"It's on the south side chat!", ladybug yelled from afar, large booms and bangs being heard all over Paris. And screams. Carapace had already use his Shell-Terr protecting chat from a hit, and everything wasn't going as planned.

Hawkmoth had created yet another villain, who had the ability to shape shift and put anything through anything. Ladybug had grunted as the villain had continued to reign chaos, who would think that a grown woman with long silver hair and a black dark blade would be the worst nightmare..right?

Rena rouge, Carapace, And vesperida had joined the fight with her, cause she very well knew that her and chat couldn't do it alone.

Vesperida and Rena had made a plan with ladybug from afar. Chat and Carapace could destract the villain while the three superhero's had came at the villainess from behind.

ladybug seethed, her leg being promptly bruised when the villain had zapped a field of electrical power at her, as she ran to help carapace and her partner. Chat was fighting the villain, trying to dodge an every move that the evil witch had tried to attempt.

Ladybug looked around, as Rena and vesperida took their places, but something didn't seem right. She had looked over to the pyramids, a way of escape. Every superhero had used their power, except vesperida, and carapace was wounded, and chat couldn't distract any longer for the bee holder to immobilize the opponent.

"Chat the south side! We need to recharge".

That's when ladybug had realized a grave mistake. Chat had turned around to see her before the villain (melancholy) had stabbed her sword right brought chats chest. His loud grunt was heard and ladybugs own screams were probably heard al the way from the UK. Carapace had let out a grunt, screaming as well.

"CHAT!!!", ladybug screamed, his blood spilling everywhere. She screamed and screamed before the villainess smirked at her,pointing her blade at the super heroine.

"Your next", she said evilly. Ladybug had sobbed, a puddle of tears before her. Her hands were shaking, her lucky charm seeming to rattle from the shock.

"How..could you", she said weekly.

Melancholy had flown over to her, grabbing her chin.

"He signed up for this, he's the soldier that put on the miraculous".

Ladybug had looked at her in shock before melancholy tried to shoot the blade into ladybugs stomach. She didn't even move, consumed with the grieve of seeing her partner there lifeless.

Vesperida launched from behind her, stabbing the venom into melancholys back. Ladybug had looked up in shock, the villains blade inches away from ladybugs stomach.

Vesperida looked at ladybug breathing heavily.

The leader was shaking as she crawled over to chats chest, crying at his body, her tears spilling on him.

"C-chat, its okay, I'm going to fix it..I'm...gonna fix it", she said grabbing his face. She grabbed her lucky charm, passing it to vesperida.

The blonde hero had grabbed it, slightly shocked at the gruesome sight of chats body. She walked over to melancholy spotting as Rena rouge was bent over carapace, looking at his arm. Carapace's tears streaming down his face.

The bee holder looked at melancholy with a scowl before grabbing the wrench and snapping of the sword from the stem. The butterfly flew up, ladybug immediately looking back, she caught it, then letting it free. Vesperida handed the wrench to ladybug, the leader throwing it into the air.

The ladybugs had flown everywhere, the other three superhero's taking in the sight, sighing in relief. Ladybug paid no attention waiting as she wiped chats hair out of his eyes. She stared at him eagerly, until he had stirred. He blinked his eyes slowly before looking up at his partner.

"M'lady?", he asked. Ladybug had sobbed before embracing him into a hug, him hugging back.

The other three had sighed, relieved to see Chat back on his feet.

Ladybug released him from the hug before looking into his eyes.

"I almost lost you", she said wiping her tears. Chat smiled weakly.

"Eh..I knew you'd be able to save me, no doubt". He said smirking. Ladybug didn't think twice before grabbing his head and kissing him tenderly in the lips, Chat had opened his eyes wide before closing them, and enjoying the moment, and the surprised stares of the Persians taking pictures behind them. Rena, Carapace And Vesperida stared at them, mouths opened in disbelief.

"I know that she valued him..very much. But this is-"

"On a whole new level", Carapace finished.

Ladybug pulled away, chats face looking at her in disbelief.

"I-I thought"

"Just shut up and don't say anything", ladybug said blushing.

Chat smirked.

"My my, has m'ladybug fallen for me already?"

Ladybug stayed quiet, turning her head to the side.

"Possibly"
