Hi Everyone... So this is my first Thunderbirds story. So go easy on me. lol Hope you like Gordon whump and lots of fluff. But I hope your not to squeamish for later chapters either?

Would like to give particular thanks to 'FABThurderbird' who has tribute to some chapters. Guided me in this new area. Great beta and has even let me borrow some of her characters. So this fanfic is a continuation from her story 'Hydrofoil Crash' which I highly recommend. And thank you to everyone else for your support and pushing me too do this.

Anyway lets get to it. Please be honest and review so I can stop having a panic attack lol

No Accidents

Chapter 1

"Is it just me or has this been like a really long week? I mean seriously are people just coordinating there accident's and disasters at the same time?" Gordon moaned, collapsing into the pilot seat of Thunderbird 2.

"I don't think it is possible for different countries to coordinate accident's that's why they are called accident's." Virgil strapping himself in before speaking into the comms. "Thunderbird 2 to base, setting off now."

"Roger that Thunderbird 2. We will see you at dinner." Jeff Tracy's voice over the comms. For 3 years lost in space, it was so good hearing him on the end of the line once again. They were still getting used to it.

"I know that Virgil." The blond aquanaut half-smiled. "But are you seriously telling me two forest fires, one earthquake, a giant building burning, three floods, one of which was today, on top of a capsizing boat then a guy stuck at the top of a mountain, all in the same week? Feels like they do it on purpose!" The comment was sarcastic, but that didn't mean there wasn't some truth behind it. "You know what dad used to say. There are no accidents! and after the 0X, point proven."

"I don't think that is quite what he meant Gordy, and besides you don't need to be so paranoid. The Hood is locked up now remember. Unless your saying people start these accidents just so they can meet the famous Tracy boys?" Virgil mockingly tossed his head back, shaking his hair like a shampoo male model.

The large green ship was now in flight.

"My head isn't that big... Unlike some." Gordon chuckled. "I'm just saying ever since our identities became public we get called out more than the GDF." It was true. When Jeff had gone missing, the boys did all struggle to keep up appearances, juggling their public identities as international playboys as supposed to international rescue agents. How would they explain the head of the Thunderbirds going missing at the same time as the famous Jeff Tracy? The media had been relentlessly digging. It was almost like denying Clark Kent was in fact, Superman. It was kind of hilariously obvious really. Someone was going to put 2 and 2 together sooner or later. In the end, coming clean to the world did take most of the pressure off. However, when these boys in blue turned up to a rescue, they received new kinds of attention. Most of it was good. However security was as tight as ever and since there biggest threat, the Hood was serving a life sentence behind bars, the risks seemed more manageable.

Virgil shrugged. "Ok I get your point, but I still don't think an Earthquake or the 30-floor company building burning down was just for our sake. That would be getting just a little bit ridiculous." They chuckled at his sarcasm. "I just want the pool and then my bed in that order!"

Gordon laid back in his seat already feeling the tugs of exhaustion yanking at him. His back and his legs suddenly twinge with pain warning him of some of the misery ahead tonight. Great. Tomorrow he was going to be seized up. The young blond exhaled with irritation. Even 5 years later after the hydrofoil crash, he still got little reminders of an event that almost cost him his life or his ability to walk, yet still not hit his head hard enough to completely forget it. All it took was a physically hard day to trigger it off.

The slight pain in his leg also sparked a memory, one he had never told any of his brothers about. In

all fairness, he hadn't been allowed too at the time. Only his Dad and Colonel Taylor had the level of clearance to know most of the facts! But it wasn't long after this that Jeff had vanished in the sky. Gordon looked at the back of his brothers head as he flew them home ... It had been years ago and they had all become International Rescue agents since then. Circumstances had changed. Maybe he would be allowed to bring it up now? Just the relevant parts? He always told Virgil everything... almost. But then he thought about how much this would hurt them. Not just the circumstances, but the fact he hadn't told them – oh this was not the time! They were tired and Jeff was home now. Maybe he could talk to him first and see if it was alright to come clean to his brothers and his grandmother and Kayo together?

"You are still coming for dinner tonight right? Remember Gran is in London for the week. We have to fend for ourselves in the Kitchen." He tried but Virgil couldn't quite hide the naughty smirk from his face."

"Scott's doing his famous chicken teriyaki!" The blond practically watering at the mouth. Scott never did get to cook often, but when he did, especially his chicken dishes, it was worth staying up for.

Another twinge of pain, this time a moan escaped him.

"You ok?" Virgil turned to look at him.

"Yeah. I think I just need my oil can. Robot parts are getting a bit rusty." It was an old joke. Years ago in order for Gordon to have any chance of walking again, he had to have some metal work fixed into his legs and his back. Nothing too dramatic, but for the first 6 months he had resembled something like a robot walking around and the jokes that followed from his brothers stuck.

...

By the time the two were home they were ready to just eat and then sleep for the rest of the weekend but Jeff appeared before they could reach the kitchen. "Gordon, John says you have a call on the privet line. Face to face feed. You can use my office."

"I'll try and make sure we save some dinner for you." Virgil joked patting his shoulder sympathetically as he made his way towards the kitchen where the rest of the family was still cooking.

Gordon scowled out of envy. "OK" Gordon tried to sound like he wasn't falling asleep standing up. Who would be calling him on the privet line at this hour?

John's image appeared. "Evening little brother. You have a call waiting on line one for you."

"Thank's John. You're a great secretary." Gordon smirked cheekily at the glare he received. "Who is it?" He made his way into the office and sat down.

"It's interesting. The frequency it came in on is only used by WASP! It's coming in on a priority one line but it's not an emergency. I wonder what they want?"

Gordon felt his stomach tighten a little. It couldn't be Alice Taylor, could it? His Sargent! They had kept in touch just once or twice a year. The woman was about the same age as his father. She had not only been his superior but also his trainer and mentor. She had even come to the hospital a few times while he was recovering after the crash. She was one of the many reasons he had been sad to leave. Of course, there had been other reasons why they had kept in touch. The very reason Gordon had kept a disturbing fact to himself for so long. Could it be he was now finally going to get some answers? Alice had never contacted him on an official line before unless ... could it be she had finally done it!?

"Put her through John, and no listening in on this please!"

John looked a little surprised by his excitement, but he nodded. "FAB." The space-bound brother hologram vanished and was replaced with double chin with a dark receding hairline. The light grey WASP uniform was present in all its glory. Two beady little eyes found Gordon. A polite nod and smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.

"Evening Mr Tracy." He said with a poor attempt at a smile, coupled with a bleak tone. Gordon blinked. Not the Sargent he had been expecting, but he still knew this one. He had not been to high above Gordon in rank 5 years ago, but by the look of the new stripes on his shoulders, he had climbed the career ladder since then. He and Gordon hadn't crossed paths much in his time at WASP, but he had shown some animosity towards Gordon when he had been chosen for the hydrofoil project over him. Of course the feelings Gordon had for him were not much better.

"Sargent Wilson?" Gordon sat up straight hiding his surprise. "Sir... how... how can I help you?"

"Its good to see you, sonny. You're looking well?" The tone didn't change.

"I am very well thank you..." He was feeling somewhat confused. Why would WASP be calling him if it wasn't Alice to update him?

"Sorry to call you so late but I felt it was necessary. I just have a few questions?" He went on like this was simple pleasantries.

"Questions?" Gordon confusion suddenly turned to alarm. All these years, what on earth could WASP have questions about? A very uneasy feeling crept over him. "About what Sir?"

Getting right to business."Sargent Alice Taylor. I understand you have a friendship with her? A friendship that continued after you left the service, is that right son?"

Gordon wished he would stop calling him son . Only his father had the right to call him that without it sounding patronising... Of course, Gordon was sure that was the idea. What's more, he didn't like the way he was asking him about his friendship with his mentor. "Yes, that is correct Sir." Gordon tried to keep his tone calm and respectful. Wilson been a prat was irrelevant. He was still an officer. "Is something wrong?"

"Did you and Sargent Taylor ever discuss any matters about WASP after you left?" Gordon felt the back of his mouth go dry. There had only ever been one conversation about WASP after his discharge. But the matter was confidential. Alice had made it clear it was just to remain between the two of them and his father. However, he wasn't an officer any more. He wasn't under any obligation. His connection now was purely just on trust. This left Gordon at a bit of a loss of how to answer Wilson's question...? Well, he would tell the truth, just not go into detail.

"We did, but only about the hydrofoil project and since I was at the centre of that project, my doctors felt it would aid my mental recovery talking about it and since Ali- Sargent Taylor is the head of the hydrofoil investigation, and as you say, we have a friendship. I felt she was the best person to talk too. She would fill me in on miner things now and then as I felt I needed closure and all that! But nothing that would endanger WASP. After all, even though I was discharged after the crash, my family is trusted by the company." Gordon explained doing well to hide that tiny shred of smugness.

"Yes, she saw you as quite the allies, especially after you and your father's company went public revealing that you are in fact International Rescue." Was that bitterness Gordon heard in the man's voice there? "Not bad for someone who wasn't supposed to walk again." Gee thank you for the reminder. "Of course you always were the golden boy." Yep definitely bitterness. "Are you sure there is nothing else?" Wilson asked somewhat more sternly. Was it just Gordon or was Wilson looking a little pale?

Gordon had to cut this off. He wanted to speak to Alice first before he revealed anything more to Wilson. He did have a good reason for this. "I don't really feel right talking about this, Sir! Why don't you just ask Sargent Taylor? I am sure she will fill you in on everything you want to know."

"I am afraid that isn't possible Mr Tracy." The man moved uncomfortably in his seat. "I am afraid to tell you that Sargent Taylor was killed tonight."

At that Gordon felt his stomach drop out from under him and then his heart drop into his stomach. Had he not been sitting he would have gone down. "Are you alright Mr Tracy?" He asked watching the boy closely as though he wanted to observe his reaction. For a long moment, Wilson sounded very far away. But what a stupid question! Of course, he wasn't alright.

"H...How? What happened? Was it...? Did she...? Gordon couldn't quite line his words together to make a complete sentence. How could she be dead? This woman was fearless. "I... I don't understand."

"Officially it was a car accident, but we are looking into other possibilities."

"Officially? What other possibilities? You clearly think there are other "possibilities" if you are asking me?!"

"I am afraid we are not at liberty to discuss any details with anyone outside WASP." Wilson was sure to dig the knife in a little more. "However if you have any further information that would indicate there was someone with a particular reason to harm her, I would appreciate you telling me?" Gordon honestly didn't know what to say. Situations like this were all about trust and quite frankly he had never trusted Wilson. Though he was no longer in the Sea Patrol Service, he was still in the service of protecting lives. So if Wilson expected Gordon to trust him, there had better be some in return.

"If you need my help, you need to tell me what it is your looking for? Do you believe this was an accident or not? And secondly, if you think this has anything to do with me, I have a right to know!" Gordon was on his feet.

"I am afraid you don't have any rights son. But as a former member of WASP, you are still bound by confidentiality." The Sargent snapped at him. "Or else you will be considered a security risk." Gordon shut his mouth at that. He had never, at any time in his career been accused of any such thing. Wilson sat back smirking a little knowing he had put the boy firmly in his place. "Furthermore Taylor's death has not been released to the public and if it wasn't an accident, we wouldn't want to tip them off now would we? So until our investigation is complete, you are not to speak to anyone, not even your family. That includes your father."

"What?!" Gordon felt his temper rising. Why wasn't Wilson been straight with him? "I don't work for WASP any more. You can NOT put a gagging order on me! My father is still a Colonel. He has clearance to the highest level. Furthermore, my family are all members of international rescue. They are not security risks and you know it!" Gordon had to stop himself from yelling.

Happy to drop the fake pleasantries."You are not speaking to Sargent Taylor now Tracy. You don't get any special treatment. Now I know Taylor was working on something and you were involved?" He looked him in the eye. "If you were you not who you are, I would have had you arrested and dragged in here for questioning instead of just this call." The man then took a calming breath before speaking again. "But I like to think that would not be necessary. Your passed record with us was excellent after all."

"Are you saying I am a suspect Sir?" This time Gordon couldn't help sneering at him.

"How could you be a suspect in an... accident!? But if you are withholding any information that could indicate there was a motive, I could have you done for obstructing justice! The safety of WASP is always a priority and Taylor had a lot of enemies. She knew the risks of having outside contacts, no matter who they are!"

Gordon took a deep breath to calm himself even though he was still in shock. "She trusted me to not be a security leak. If she was working on something and she didn't tell you, maybe she had a good reason. Maybe you should be looking within your own walls and not mine?" Gordon giving the hint as to why he didn't want to tell Wilson anything. He could tell by the look in the man's eyes he knew more than he was letting on. A lot more.

"Maybe I will." He sneered. "And Daddy maybe a Colonel, but he is running his own independent company outside WASP and the GDF. Taylor may have thought this was acceptable to have our sensitive information vulnerable, but I do not! You're not 18 any more Tracy. You only get a pass because of your history with us. It's for me to decide now how secure International Rescue is. If I think you could be a leak, I will not hesitate to have you arrested until this investigation is over."

"You couldn't keep me locked up with no evidence just on your say-so Wilson and you know it. Colonel Casey outranks all of us and would have me out in an hour." Gordon reminded him.

"Maybe. But I could still drag you away first which wouldn't look very good in front of the GDF. Then I would have grounds for making life very difficult for your father's independent company!" Gordon blinked. Was Wilson threatening the reputation of International Rescue? "You may have the GDF wrapped around your little finger, but you're still working outside the system at your own leisure and our risk. Whereas WE are an official branch of law enforcement. If WASP was to deem International Rescue as untrusting with classified information, that could put a lot of red tape up for every rescue you go on! Particularly ocean rescues."

Gordon could not believe what he was hearing. When Wilson was sure he had the IR agent right where he wanted him, he continued. "Besides I am sure you wouldn't want your family dragged into this now would you Mr Tracy? Isn't your father still recovering?" He smirked darkly. "I don't want to work against you sonny. We are on the same side after all. Until then, you keep your head down but contact me directly if you magically remember anything Sargent Taylor may have said to you over the last 5 years. Understand?"

Gordon sat down again trying to take in everything that had just happened. His friend was dead... possibly murdered and he had just been threatened by WASP to cover it up? He felt positively sick. Every bone in his body was telling him to go to his father right now. Gordon had the feeling he had been tossed into the deep end of something, but he didn't know what it was? Maybe he should tell Wilson all he knew about Alice's concerns, but she had made it clear as to why her concerns had to stay secret... But that was 5 years ago... and now she was dead! Even if this all turned out to be a big coincidence, she was still dead.

"Yes Sir." He said before abruptly shutting the holographic projector off!

"Gordon?" John's image reappeared. "Are you alright?"

"Were you listening to any of that?" He sat up quickly.

John raised his brow. "No, you asked me not to remember. What's going on?" His face instantly changed to concern.

"It... It doesn't matter. I should go!" Gordon got up to leave before John could question him further.

"Gordon?" John called him back but he pretended not to hear him. He couldn't drag his brothers into this. Wilson was always true to his word and could make life very difficult for all of them and his father didn't deserve that after all, he had been through. Gordon made his way out of the office feeling dizzy with emotion.

"Hey Gordy, you coming for dinner?" His little brother Alan called out from across the room. Everyone was there waiting for him, but the aquanaut had lost his appetite.

"Sorry... I'm not hungry. I'm going to bed." Gordon had to much on his mind now to think clearly and he didn't want his brothers prodding into this. They always knew when he was distracted and like any of his brothers, they always wanted to know what was going on. Gordon quickly headed upstairs.

"Not hungry? What's up with him?" Alan looked back at the table."I thought you said he wanted Chicken Teriyaki?"

"Don't know," Virgil replied watching the blond make his way up the stairs. "His back and legs were bothering him on the way home. I think he just needs to rest."

...

Not what you were all expecting? Just warming up.
