"Und auf den ersten Streich alle Saiten es zerriss, weh Ode an die Wut!" sang the man who was singing the German song from The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve.
Applause overtook the room. There was an applause because the song was good and better than every piece of music in the Investigations games.
Shu Takumi came onto the stage.
"Thank YOU for coming to the Ace Attorney orchestra!" said Shu Takumi. "We are delighted to have such dedicated fans of the best Ace Attorney games, The Great Ace Attorney 1 and 2 in the West! Albert Harebrayne is a character, by the way. That is all, thank you and good night!"
Takumi walked off the stage.
"OBJECTION!" shouted someone in the back. Takumi turned to the source of the interjection. It couldn't be. But it was! The curtain ripped apart and John Phoenix was there for his great turnabout! "Aren't you forgetting something... important, Shu Takumi?"
"No."
"Yes you are!" said John Phoenix. "You said the best Ace Attorney games are the Great Ace Attorney games? There is a contradiction here!"
John Phoenix presented a leaked document from the Capcom hack back in November. It was, of course, the official ranking of the Ace Attorney games from worst to best:
Gyakuten Kenji 2 (Worst)
Dual Destinies
Spirit of Justice
Investigations
Ace attorney 1, Justice for All, Trials and Tribulations, Apollo Justice and Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright, all equal
The Great Ace Attorney: Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney: Resolve, both equal
The (the rest was scribbled out)
"The culprit tried to hide the existence of the best game, but he forgot to remove the first word of the title, which has come back to bite him, for it proves its existence!" said John Phoenix.
"But how can we know what exactly the best game is with just this?" asked Takumi. "Oh, maybe it's The Contempt of Court!"
"Good guess, but no! It is obviously THE ADVENTURES OF JOHN PHOENIX!"
"Ahhh, that is a possibility," said Takumi.
"It's not a possibility! IT IS THE TRUTH!" shouted John Phoenix.
"But of course, but of course. But young man, who would want to stop is from playing music from the best Ace Attorney game, The Adventures of John Phoenix?"
"Only the one person in the world who hates my game because he hates me!" said John Phoenix. "And that person is... YOU!"
"WHAT!"
Takumi tried to run but John Phoenix pounced on him.
"Everyone remembers The Adventures of John Phoenix! It's the most famous game ever! Yet, you somehow didn't know it exists - because you were PRETENDING you forgot about it, Shu Takumi. Or, should I call you..."
John Phoenix pulled at Takumi's face and ripped his mask off, and under the mask was the face of...
"DYLAN FITCHAR!"
Dylan Fitchar ran away, and after he ran away, John Phoenix grabbed the musical instruments and played an incredible performance of the whole soundtrack of The Adventures of John Phoenix all by himself!
A free download of the entire orchestrated soundtrack will be available for purchase at some point after this story is published!
