*Gasp!* After almost suffocating to death, Mark was able to breathe normally again. His eyes began to glow a blue colour and he seemed to have heard a familiar voice, but since he was alone he assumed it was all just in his head. ("Oh thank goodness I can breathe again! But how, and why? Also did I hear someone, or am I finally going insane in this place?")

Mark was still shook by the near death experience and the never ending sight of the black void. Although upon closer inspection, the void seemed to be moving and has some sort of wave pattern that looks like something you'd see in a sea of toxic goo. Noticing this made him much more uncomfortable. ("Okay, I need to get out of this place! But where did I come from?")

Looking back, Mark sees the same white orb floating all over the place. The only thing lighting up this dark void, so he managed to grab one and looked into it. Mark saw all the pokemon that were meant to go after him, but none of them made any effort to follow him after entering the void. ("What are they doing? Do they think I'm dead? ...well, I'm not going back the way I came from then. There has got to be another way out.")

Mark looked around and caught some more orbs and looked into them. One had a projection of a forest, which seemed promising. However, the place didn't seem familiar at all. It just looked like any forest you'd find away from human society. (Mmm… maybe it's best if I find one that would bring me to Shiny or Mew. I'm sure they would wanna hear about how Arceus lied to them. Wait, if I came from that orb over there, maybe I can travel back using these things.")

After a bit of looking, Mark managed to find an orb with a Mew in it. The Mew didn't seem like the one he knows but it's better than going back to Arceus's Judgement Hall again, so he picked up the orb and tried to enter. ("Alright, I'm going. ...Uhh, I said I'm going. ...wait, how does this thing work?")

Mark shook the orb trying to get it to do something, but nothing seemed to happen. He began to think these orbs did not grant the ability for transportation. ("Can they not take me there? What's the point of showing me this location? How come I came from the other orb and not travel to another location?") He sat down and began to think about his current situation.

("Am I just stuck here forever? Is that what's happening?") Mark's grip tightened and he gritted his teeth. "I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!! I just… I want all this to be over. I wanna go home." Mark was talking out loud now, wondering if he's luck had finally run out.

A few hours pass and Mark just remains laying there, floating around and thinking about his situation. He tried getting the orbs to do something, but nothing happened. After a bit of trying, he noticed his own reflection in the orb. Him with blue eyes.

At first he just thought it was just a projection, but not after noticing it mimicked everything he did. ("Is that me? It can't be, I don't have blue eyes. Unless…")

Mark let go of the orb and focused a lot of power into his hand. And from his hand, a small light appeared which grew bigger. He was holding pure energy in the palm of his hand. ("That's right, I got powers. Or have they been activated? That would explain why I'm suddenly able to breathe again.")

Suddenly Mark thought of something. ("Wait, in the world of legendary pokemon, everything seemed to only be activated by special powers. Telekinesis, flight, teleportation… maybe that's the case here too.") He didn't know what he was doing, but he still tried to pour some power into the orb, hoping something would happen. And nothing did.

("...Ugh, well I'm out of ide-") Suddenly a flash of light coming from the orb engulfed the entire void and when the light cleared, he was in some sort of different location, and for some reason caused his eye colour to return to brown. When Mark picked himself off the ground, he was happy to find he was on grass.

He was about to celebrate until he noticed a mew staring at him. From a single glance, Mark alright knew it wasn't the same mew he was looking for.

As Mark was about to walk away, he was grabbed by his leg with the mew's tail. This causes him to trip over and fall to the ground, while the mew moves closer to him. "What are you doing here in my domain human?"

Mark tried to get up but the mew kept him pinned down. "Ngh, get off me!"

"I SAID WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE HUMAN!?" The mew roared, demanding an answer. "I… I don't know, I just ended up here, that's all!" The Mew was not satisfied with his answer.

"Well then why do you THINK you're here then?" The mew gave Mark a very unfriendly look. "Look, I was trapped in a black void and I was only trying to escape."

"And you ended up here?" She added. "Yes" Mark answered honestly, but judging from the mew's reaction, she didn't believe him. "What's with that look?"

"I think you are lying." This response got Mark annoyed. "Well then why do YOU think I'm here?"

"You're after me duh! You humans are so obsessed with catching the best pokemon for your collections. Using them as weapons to fight each other and call it a game. Pfft! What hideous creatures!" She waves her paw at Mark, claiming him to be one of them.

"Well I'm definitely not the right guy to talk to about that. Maybe try getting your facts checked!" Mark was trying to sound confident, but was clearly insulted. The mew however was entertained by his words and reaction. "Hehehe! There is no such thing as fact that can be created by the human mind, so you have no right to tell me to get my facts checked!"

"Insecure are we?" Mark spoke back. The mew then sat on Mark's back with her feet on his shoulders. "Hey! Get off me Mew!" He tried to stand up but the mew increased her weight, pushing him back down. "Ack! Heavy!"

"One, that's quite rude to just order someone, especially of higher status like that. Two, it's Lyra, not Mew. And three, there's something I need to say and need you to know." Lyra increased her weight a bit more, almost choking Mark.

"Look, I'm a nice pokemon, but don't push me too much okay? What I wanna say is, I think this world deserves better. You humans have been under the assumption that you're the 'dominant' species for far too long and we need… better locals around here. We need a race that deserves to be called people other than you primates." Lyra continues to speak and play around with Mark's hair while he still struggles under her. "I… can't… brea.. ge… of… me.e.."

"So why can't we have mews as the new replacement for humans? I mean how great would that be? We aren't power hungry, cruel, savages like you." Lyra gets off Mark and gives him a moment to catch his breath. *Gasp, Pant* "What the hell was that for!?" Mark yelled in anger.

"I know you're not the kind to listen quietly on your own, so I made you quiet." Mark was still coughing and trying to catch his breath. "Well… why did you even tell me this anyway?"

"Because you're the first ever human to make it in my domain, somewhere not even pokemon can enter. And that's really impressive, and I see some potential in you. So rather than putting it to waste, why not help me do what needs to be done. What do you say?"

"I can't believe this. First you insult me multiple times, almost suffocate me and now you're asking for my help?" Lyra moved her head closer to Mark. "It's not like you had a choice."

"Then what was the point in asking me!?" Mark was confused and didn't understand the way Lyra was thinking. "I just wanted to see if you would make the right decision, which to no one's surprise, wasn't the case." Lyra rolled her eyes.

"But maybe you would change your mind after I repair that broken body of yours." Mark looked at himself, looked for any injuries. "I don't see anything wrong with me, also what do you mean by repair?" Lyra's eyes began to glow, causing Mark's body to glow as well.

"W-Wait, what's going on?" His body began to shrink and his limbs grew shorter and shorter. He started to grow a bit of fur and voice became more feminine. Once everything was over, Lyra looked over with the biggest smile on her face. "Now that's much better."

Mark opened his eyes and saw the world for the first time in his new form. Everything looked so colourful, and he was even able to see colours that he never knew existed. His ears felt so much more powerful and had a much more potent sense of smell. "What did you do?" Lyra just giggled in response. "You look so cute now~"

Mark looked at himself and could see that his entire body was pink. He could feel some sort of limb attached to his back side, and it felt easy to control. He put it in front of him and saw a tail that was meant for a mew. And from that point on, it all began to click into his head. "No… nonononono this isn't right. Did you turn me into a mew!?"

"Yeah. Took you long enough to figure it out." Lyra flew down and carried Mark in her arms. "Come on Lyri, let's go meet your new friends."

"Who is Lyri? If you're talking to me, then the name's Mark!" She just giggled at his response. "Oh, you don't need to go by that stupid name any longer. Your name is Lyri and that's that. This 'Mark' you mentioned is no more."

"But Lyri? Really? That's so unoriginal! It's basically just your name, just one letter different!" Mark was clearly not happy with his current situation. But Lyra didn't care, since she's only doing what she wanted, thinking it would make a better future. "I gave you part of my name as a gift! A celebration that the first ever human has ascended to a new status in life. It would be foolish not to treasure this moment."

"I don't care! I never asked for this!" He was furious. He hated the fact that his life was headed down such a path so quickly. All he wanted was to go back to his home world and live his life the way he wants to, not have it taken over by a pokemon of all things. "I told you, you never had a choice in this. You could say this is what you get for trespassing in my domain." Mark didn't respond.

"Oh, stop being such a baby! Eventually you'll like living this new life. I'll get you to like it, and then you'll be thanking me." Mark turned over to Lyra. "I promise you that no matter what you do, you will NEVER get me to like any of this." He said with a lot of confidence and a bit of lingering anger.

"Oh we'll see about that Lyri. You'll enjoy this new life eventually. And then you'll be able to see this world in my eyes." Lyra then teleported out of her domain and flew into the sky and above the clouds while still holding Mark in her arms. After they stopped ascending, Mark looked down and could barely see the ground. This made him upset as it reminded him of his time in The Hidden Lands.

"Lyri, look up!" Mark sighed and looked up. He saw some sort of green snake, floating in the air. It seemed like it had a dragon head and got a lot bigger as it got close. "Greetings Lyra, what brings you here? And who is that?" Mark was surprised to hear that this pokemon also seemed to have its own name. "Hello Torrin! I want you to meet my offspring! Her name is Lyri!"

"Excuse me!? Did you just call me a her!?" Lyra nodded. "I wanted you to closely resemble me, so I made you a female. Besides, I think it's too early to have a male mew yet."

"No! I don't care! I will not be a female!" As Mark was complaining about his new form, Torrin was waiting patiently for Lyra. "I'm sorry Torrin, she really needs to learn how to act normal. Believe it or not, she used to be a human at one point, but I decided to upgrade her permanently. She's still learning how to appreciate my efforts."

However, Torrin was a bit concerned about what he heard from Lyra. "I understand, but… are you sure this is safe? What if she abuses her powers or worse?"

"Don't worry about it. I will NOT allow my gift to be misused. I promise." Mark rolled her eyes and spoke up.

"She's lying! She's gonna make everything so much worse! She hates you, cause she thinks you suck and…" Lyra covers her mouth before she could say anymore. "Uhh, I got to go now, I'll see you later!"

Before Torrin could say anything, Lyra flew far away with Mark so that they couldn't be heard. "What do you think you're DOING!?"

"That's what you get for ruining my life."

"Look, I couldn't care less about your petty reasons for revenge, I want some respect from you!"

"Respect? You want MY respect? In your dreams 'mew'. I would rather die."

("That's it!") Lyra thought to herself. In her mind, Mark has crossed the line. She began to lose hope in getting Mark to be accustomed to her new life. "You just… you just won't stop now would you? You're gonna keep going until I eventually lose my mind huh?"

"Oh come on, I only did one thing you didn't like, and you're already acting like I committed horrible crimes. You're so over-dramatic." Lyra flew back down to the ground and placed Mark on the grass. "I can't believe that in such a short amount of time, you managed to convince me that you will never change your old human ways. I guess I'll just have to get rid of that human within you Lyri."

Mark didn't know what Lyra was doing but she got a feeling that she wouldn't like it. "What are you talking about?" Lyra's eyes then began to glow as she was staring right into Mark. She could then feel someone inside her head. "Huh? Hey, what are you doing!?"

Lyra doesn't respond and just hums to herself while she goes into Mark's mind and begins erasing her memories. "Hey, stop! STOP!!!" Mark yells at her as loud as she can, but she just ignores her and continues to get rid of his current memories, then replacing them with artificial ones.

"Oh, other mews? This one's pretty cute, but it'll have to go too. I can't wait for them to see the new you, oh they would be so happy!" Mark knows what's going on as she starts to forget one by one, each memory of her life. She starts rolling on the floor with her paws on her head, yelling for her to stop. Eventually, Mark's mind goes blank and Lyra happily removes the last remaining memories.

"This should be the last of them. Bye-bye human, you won't be missed." This was the last thing Mark heard before going unconscious, and waking up as someone completely different. "M-Mom?"

"Lyri, is that you?" Lyra asked with so much suspense. "Yes Mom it's me! Don't you remember your own child?"

"Yes! Yes, of course I do!" Lyra hugged Lyri and began crying tears of joy. "I finally have my very own baby. *Sniff*" After the embrace, she picks up Lyri and shows her around. "Come on sweetie, I wanna show you so many things! And one day, you'll be able to finally make the world an amazing place!" Lyri's eyes widened in excitement. "R-really? Am I really that great?"

"Of course you are. You're my little cutie after all." She says as she strokes Lyri's head causing her to blush a little. "Well then let's go then! Show me what you wanted me to see!"

"Okay, okay." Lyra then carries Lyri in her arms and happily flies away with her.
