Prologue: Soul D. Yoruichi
In the seas of the world and on the ocean of the East Blue was a small boat that drifted in the calm waves. The hour at the time was a little after mid night and the moon was full, casting its pristine white shadow on the sea. In the small boat was a small child who was wrapped in a purple blanket, a small chest laid next to her. The child was shivering form the cold night and tugged on the blanket for warmth as she tried to sleep.
Suddenly the waves picked up and began rocking the small boat, this jolted her awake and she began to panic as she looked around frantically. Soon she spotted a silhouette of a large ship that was approaching her as the waves got stronger, taking the mast and raising her sail she managed to turn the boat so as to get out of the large ships way. As her boat turned, a small wave hit her causing her stumble slightly and accidentally tie her leg on the mast's loose rope. Trying to regain her footing, the girl slipped and hit her head on the small chest, knocking her out in the process.
The large ship came to a stop close to the unconscious girl's boat and men started throwing hooks at the boat so as to help it on the ship. The ship was large in size and looked ready for battle, it was blue in color with white railings. The figurehead of the ship was a large head of a bulldog with a bone in its mouth, the sails had the symbol of the marines as the men also wore standard marine uniforms.
Standing on the second floor of the ship was a large man with tan skin and a black but graying beard, as the rest of his face was covered by a bulldog mask that wrestlers would wear. He wore a gray suit, a dark blue dress shirt underneath, grey tie and black shoes. The man looked on as the boat was pulled up and the little girl was helped out of the boat and into the medical room of the marine ship, the small chest was being taken towards the storage room.
"Stop!" the man shouted in his gruff voice as everyone stopped and looked towards him, the man carrying the chest gulped as he looked towards the man who was looking right at him.
"Bring the chest into my office." He commanded as the man with the chest nodded and ran towards the stairs, the Bulldog wearing masked man looked at a man who also wore a suit, carrying a sword whilst wearing a cap.
"Tell me when the girl wakes up." The man said as the other with the cap nodded, the man with the Bulldog mask walked back into his office and shut the door, sighing as he looked at the chest that sat on his desk.
The next day men worked around the ship as the sun was shining in the sky, the man with the cap supervised the crew as the other man sat in his office working through paperwork but he occasionally took a glance at the small chest that sat right in front of him on his desk. Moving to the bottom of the ship in the medical room was the girl who snored away on one of the beds.
The girl's snot bubble eventually popped and she jolted awake, checking her surroundings. Looking around, she saw that she was in a medium sized room that was painted white and had a few beds and a few metal cabinets. She got out of bed and shivered at the cold sensation of her bare feet hitting the cold white tile of the floor, she continued on walking around the room as she snooped at some spots until she eventually stood in front of a large mirror at the corner of the room.
The girl was a little shorter than most seven year olds but that didn't stop her from getting into fights. She has dark skin, golden irises and short shoulder length purple hair with small bangs that covered her forehead. She wore a black ribbon around her neck and a golden key was also tied around her neck by a string, a purple shirt with a cat face on the front and black shorts that stopped at the middle of her thighs.
The girl started fiddling with the key and started looking around, using her other hand to pick her nose. A light bulb appeared on top of her head as she jaw-dropped and frantically ran around.
"Where is it?! Where is it?! Where is it?! WHERE IS IT?!!" She shouted falling to her knees clutching her head.
The door of the room slammed open as two men ran inside looking for any signs of trouble, soon they spotted the girl and slowly approached her.
"H-hey little girl, are you-" The man stopped talking as he fell back in fear and the man next to him stumbled back also in fear.
The girl gave the two a fearsome glare that made it seem like they were looking at an angered demon that looked ready to kill. The girl jumped at the two like a predator attacking its prey, the men screamed in fear and alerted the entire ship. The first man was immediately knocked out as the second was kicked out of the room crashing onto the wall of the hallway, as he slid down while groaning in pain. The girl jumped on him and stood on his stomach as she grabbed his collar glaring at him.
"Where is it?!" she shouted shaking the man and accidentally knocking him unconscious by slamming his head onto the wall.
"Hey!" another man shouted and she turned to see three more on the stairs whilst glaring at her.
The girl jumped of the man and started cracking her knuckles with a smirk on her face "Bring it on!"
The men ran towards her, soon sounds of punching and kicking were heard attracting the entire ship towards the stairs. One of the men flew out of the stairs and landed on top of one of the crewmembers, the girl ran out onto the deck and saw that the entire crew were surrounding her and looking at her shocked.
"Don't just stand there! Catch her!" The man with the bulldog mask shouted as he leaned on the railings while smiling.
The men looked at each other as the girl got into a fighting stance, soon the men all ran towards her as she punched and kicked her way through all of them while using her small stature and unnatural speed to her advantage. The man with the bull dog mask laughed as he watched her and the man with the cap was impressed.
"Ho! Ho! Look at her go!" The man shouted while laughing.
The brawl eventually stopped as the girl stood on top of a pile of knocked out men, breathing heavily and wiping the sweat off her face, the girl giggled as she looked around.
"You guys Ain't half bad." The girl said but soon she heard laughing.
Turning around she saw a large man jump over the railings as the other man with a cap stayed and watched. The man laughed and threw off his jacket and rolled up his sleeves while the girl watched.
"Neither are you, but those were just rookies. So how about going up against me?" The man asked grinning.
The girl stared at him for a few seconds before her eyes bulged and her jaw dropped
"EH!!!!" she shouted.
"What? You expect me to let you off the hook for beating up my subordinates? I don't care if you are a little girl, you've shown you can fight so you're gonna fight me!" The man stated.
"B-but…" The girl mumbled.
"What? Don't tell me you're scared?" The man jeered and soon she glared while gritting her teeth.
"Okay, old man! Seeing as they're your subordinates then you must know where my treasure is?" The girl asked.
The man nodded "I do."
"Then when I beat you, I want it back!" She shouted getting into her fighting stance.
"You have a deal, little girl!" The man responded also getting into his fighting stance.
After a few tense seconds they both ran at each other and began their fight. The girl kept getting knocked down but always got back up, trying new ways to defeat her opponent. Throughout the fight the man kept grinning and started liking the girl more and more, she had fire and reminded him of his grandson.
The sun was setting and it painted the ship and its surroundings with a golden azure, on the deck of the ship the girl laid flat on her back breathing heavily. She was covered in scratches and bruises while the man stood with his arms crossed, unscathed only this time his grin was gone and it reduced to a small smile.
"Are you done, little girl?"
"Shut up! If I don't beat you then I won't get that chest back. I want to get it back no; I need to get it back!" The girl exclaimed as she tried to stand but kept falling.
The man sighed and walked back upstairs and inside of his office, coming back out with the chest in his hands. The man placed the chest in front of her and picked her up, sitting her down as he sat with the chest between them. The man removed his mask, revealing his short graying hair and a small scar that was on the left side of his left eye.
"Let's start with introductions, my name is Monkey D. Garp. What's yours, little girl?" Garp asked grinning as he held out his hand.
The girl stared at him for a few seconds then sighed "Cut it out with the little girl crap, old man. My name is Yoruichi, Soul D. Yoruichi and I guess it's nice to meet you." Yoruichi replied giving him a small smile and shaking his hand.
Garp laughed and soon Yoruichi started laughing along with him.
"So you gonna open that chest or do you already know what's inside?" Garp asked as he eyed the key around her neck.
Yoruichi widened her eyes "Oh right!"
Yoruichi took off the key and put it in the chest and turned it, unlocking the chest. She opened the chest and saw a note on top of a fruit. Picking up the note, she began reading.
'Hello Yoruichi!
I hope you made it out and will start living your life the way you want it to be. This is a little something that might help you on your adventure and my last gift to you. You have a dream, everyone does. So when you finally achieve that dream of yours then you can thank me, have fun, make friends and I know you'll be a hit with the ladies~. I'll see you again.
Sincerely
Kisuke
Yoruichi cried as she finished reading the note and picked up the fruit. The fruit was a small apple dark green apple that was covered in swirls, an orange twig with a spin at the end. Yoruichi looked at the fruit and back at Garp who was watching her intently.
"That's a devil fruit." Garp stated
"A devil fruit?"
"One of many legendary fruits that grant the ones who have eaten it a power but the cost is losing you-" Garp couldn't finish as he jaw-dropped watching Yoruichi eat the entire fruit, even the twig.
Yoruichi looked down as her bangs covered her eyes "It…"
Garp leaned in "Yes?"
"It…"
"Are you okay, Yoruichi?" Garp asked concerned
"IT TASTES LIKE CRAP!!!!!!" Yoruichi shouted as she cried.
"THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE CONCERED ABOUT!!" Garp shouted shocked as his eyes were white and had comedic shark teeth.
~
Garp and the man with the cap watched Yoruichi as she snored away on a couch in Garp's office and as her snot bubble inflated and deflated.
"We'll be arriving soon."
Garp nodded "I'm aware."
"So what are you going to do with her?" The man asked
Garp grinned "Well, she'll be coming with me. I think her and Luffy will get along just great."
The man smirked "Another one?"
Garp laughed while nodding.
"By the way, what was the devil fruit she ate?"
"I don't have a clue but I know who it's from." Garp responded as he hands the letter to the man.
The man read through it and narrowed his eyes "Is this the same Kisuke?"
Garp nodded "Luffy might have been influenced by Shanks but we don't know how long Yoruichi has known him."
"So what are you going to do?"
"The same with Luffy, Train her to join the marines!" Garp laughed as the man sweat-dropped.
~
The ship sailed away as Garp stood at the docks and watched it leave with Yoruichi standing right next to him. Garp now wore a yellow Hawaiian shirt with white shorts and black sandals while Yoruichi wore a black vest and black shorts with some sandals.
"Garp-san!" they both turned to see a woman with green hair, wearing a blue shirt and a long orange dress with white sandals running towards them.
"Ah Makino-Chan! Long time no see!" Garp exclaimed as he put his hand on Yoruichi's shoulder, ushering her to follow.
"It has!" Soon Makino looked at Yoruichi who looked right back at her, soon Makino found herself blushing slightly but shook it off. "Who might you be?"
"I'm Soul D Yoruichi! Nice to meet you, Makino!" Yoruichi answered grinning
"Nice to meet you too, Yoruichi."
Garp cleared his throat making them both look at him "So, where might Luffy be?"
"Oh, he's been busy spending time with Ace. At least that's what Dadan told me."
Garp nodded "Well, I think it's about time I pay them all a visit."
"Hey old man, who's this Luffy you keep talking about?" Yoruichi asked as they walked through the forest.
Garp bonked Yoruichi on the head and she screamed in pain "ITTAI!"
"It's Garp not old man! And Luffy is one of your new brothers." Garp said walking ahead as she froze, jaw-dropping.
"EH!" she screamed running after Garp.
"What do you mean? One of my new brothers?" Yoruichi asked frantically.
"Exactly what I mean, you're my new granddaughter!" Garp exclaimed happily.
Yoruichi jumped on Garp and began stretching his face "You don't get to decide that you, old fart!"
"What did you say to me, you little brat?!"
The two continued to argue not noticing the fact that they were arguing in front of a small house with the occupants all standing outside. A boy with wavy black hair and freckles who was wearing a red tank top with brown shorts and black dress shoes cleared his throat catching the attention of the arguing two.
"Grandpa?" A young boy with black hair, a scar on his left cheek. Who wore a blue tank top and black shorts with sandals and a straw hat asked.
Garp grinned "Ah! Luffy! Ace! Good to see you!"
Luffy looked towards Yoruichi who looked back at him "Who are you?"
"Who are you?" Yoruichi asked back.
"Me? I'm Monkey D. Luffy and I'm going to be the Pirate King!" Luffy said grinning.
Yoruichi frowned "No!"
"What?" Luffy asked, tilting his head.
"I say no to what you said." Yoruichi stated, confusing everyone around her.
"What do you mean?" Luffy asked now frowning.
"Because I'm going to become the Pirate Queen!" Yoruichi shouted whilst smirking.
"EH!!" Everyone shouted as they jaw-dropped.
