SUMMARY: Tony and Pepper adopt a 11-year-old Peter after losing his last living relative in a tragic way. Little did they know that this kid held a secret beyond their expectations. The story will follow their relationship and their journey as a family from being a family with one superhero to a family with two.

This is my first spider-man story. I'm completely new to the Marvel Universe being that I just recently watched the movies. I had watched some before, especially the spider man ones but not being a fan and not following the other stories, I wasn't' caught-up on them. That being said, I fell in love with Tony Stark and then some more when he met young Peter Parker, which led me to think there must have been some fanfiction, because I couldn't possibly be the only one that loved their relationship, right? And of course, I was right so I spend the last two months or so reading soooo many wonderful stories which obviously led me to start making up my own and because I can't get them out of my head and I can't talk about them with anyone who understands the Tony/Peter father/son thing, my only solution was to write it down and share it with those who are on the same side as I am.

This story is sooo non-canon but that just gives me room to make it more lovable.

FYI, I made Peter a bit younger at the beginning of this because for where I want their relationship to go, I think the younger, the easier. I want to say as well that I really like May and her relationship with Peter, and I don't want to kill her in order for Tony to be able to have Peter so I decided to introduce her to Peter in another way. She'll still be aunt May but not the way we already know.

Also, the story may contain a bit of spanking because I've read so many stories like that, that it started to make sense. It won't be the main plot and it won't be explicit because that's not my thing. And, just so I'm clear, this is pure fiction and not how I think situations with children should be handled.

Last but not least, English is not my mother tongue, so if you catch any mistakes, I'm open to learning from them and of course, correct them. And because this is being written during quarantine, one might think that I have all the time in the world but NO, that's not the case. I have three jobs, many tv shows, two books, and all the fanfiction I'm reading, so this may take a while. Still, if you've read this far, I hope it means you're on this with me, so without further ado, here's my take on Peter Parker and Tony Stark. I promise I won't talk (write) as much in the next chapters.

"Heeeelp! Heeeeelp! Just, please. Someone!" Tony heard the screams before he saw their source. He was on his way back from a 4-day-should-have-been-2-hours-mission. He was exhausted and drained but looking down, his heart shattered when he spotted a kid, a little kid, leaning over a man covered in blood. He landed next to both the kid so busy crying and shouting for help that he didn't even notice Tony's presence.

"Hey hey, buddy," he said approaching the child "Can you tell me what happened?"

"My uncle… he.. I …. He needs a doctor...please!" He cried. Tony felt for the kid but crying children were not his forte, he was really having trouble keeping up with what the kid was saying but he didn't need the kid to tell him that the man needed a hospital, he didn0t even though the man needed one anymore, he clearly has left this world already, of course, he wasn't going to be the one to bring the news to the uncontrolled child. He asked Friday to call an ambulance and opened his helmet to approach the kid. Kneeling beside him "Hey buddy, can you tell me your name?"

"P-p-Petter" – he said through tears

"Hey Peter, my name is Tony, can yo…"

"You're Iron Man" Peter interrupted "you can help my uncle, right?" he said, with what Tony thought, was a glimpse of hope in his young eyes.

"An ambulance is on its way. Can you tell me what happened?"

The uncontrollable sobs came back again, but still, Peter managed to tell Tony that some guy stabbed his uncle several times, leaving him bleeding on the floor. "He was looking for me, I wasn't supposed to be out, and he came looking for me. The guy…the guy who stabbed him didn't see me because my uncle hid me behind that dumpster" he explained, pointing towards a garbage can "but when I saw what he was doing I yelled at him and he saw me and he ran. Everything happened so fast, but he was not alone because he shouted something and someone else came behind him and that second guy, he took out my uncle's wallet, opened it and threw it back at him and then shot him before running behind the other guy. This is all my fault! I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry" -that's all that Tony could get out of the kid before he buried his face in his dead uncle's chest. Tony knew that there was not much he could do to help the kid at the moment, the murderers were probably very far away but he could stay with the kid, at least until the ambulance came or maybe he could call his parents, tell them to pick him up.

Deciding to do just that, he stood up and stepped completely out of the suit just to kneel back down and resting a hand on the kid's back. "Hey, I think you should call your parents. Do you know their phone numbers?

"I don't have any parents, I don't have anyone" Peter answered, crying even more if that was possible.

"What do you mean?" Not being able to understand anything the child was saying through his tears while having his face buried in his uncle's, he tried to help him get up. "Hey, buddy, c'mon. Can you look at me? Come on, come sit with me over here" He said, trying to stand up along with the kid. He failed but the kid's face did stay up. Finally, tony heard the sirens of an ambulance, he knew there was nothing to do for the guy, but he thought Peter should still get checked out. "Can you repeat what you just said?"

"It's just my uncle and me. My parents died when I was little, and he's been taking care of me ever since and now it's my fault he's hurt" That's what he managed to say before going back to his position over his uncle's torso. "I'm so sorry uncle Ben, I really am sorry. But Iron Man is here and he's going to help you" Tony was relieved when the ambulance arrived because he did not have the heart to tell the kid he couldn't do anything to help his uncle. He explained what he could to a young paramedic, and she left to go check on the kid. He saw another one, a more mature paramedic, checking on the kid's uncle and nodding his head to another one as if confirming that they were too late.

He didn't need to see the kid to know when they brought the news to him, his cries were more than enough. Tony would let to live many years, but he would never forget those cries. They tattooed themselves so deep into his heart, that no amount of happiness would get them out.

I'm sorry I kept it short but I really wanted it to be up there. I'm working on the next chapter already and I hope it can be uploaded soon.

If you read this far, thank you. I hope you enjoyed it.
