AN: this will be a stand alone filler one shot about what happened between when Onikage tells Toxica and Jindrax about his plan, and when they show up on the animarium later that night.

"I'm still not sure about this." Toxica hissed as they followed Onikage deep into the forest.

He put a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"Hey ... you want to get back on Mandilok's good side, right?" He quipped

"Yes, of course!"

"Well, then do you know any other way to do that?" He replied.

Toxica opened her mouth, then closed it again.

"No." She admitted.

"Then we really got no choice. We gotta trust him."

He playfully nudged her shoulder.

"And hey... Don't worry, I'll be there, we ARE a team, remember?"

She offered him a small smile.

"Right."

Onikage came to a stop so suddenly that they both almost walked right into him.

"At last, we have arrived." He said

Looming in front of them were the ruins of an ancient temple.

The ninja Org spun to face them.

"Here I will teach you the skills you will need for the mission tonight."

"Um ... okay?" Jindrax said as he and Toxica shared a nervous look.

"Fear not, for these tricks are easy to learn, especially for two Orgs as skilled in combat as you two are. I for one think that Mandilok's treatment of you is quite unfair, which is why I offered you this opportunity to aid me in the capture of the princess." Onikage said.

Jindrax and Toxica nodded to one another.

"Okay, we're in, where do we start?" Jindrax said.

They practiced over and over again until Onikage was satisfied, by then, it was nearly dark.

"Now just one more thing remains ..." Onikage trailed off as he produced two sets of clothes.

Jindrax's eyes fell on the beautiful black leather outfit that he realized was intended to be Toxica's.

He swallowed hard and he felt a traitorous blush creeping across his face as his mind was suddenly flooded with images of how she would look in that.

His excitement quickly soured into disappointment as Toxica eyed the outfit with a look of disgust on her beautiful face.

"I ... don't need ... whatever THAT is." She said as she plucked at it with her fingers.

"I can conjure my own disguise. "

Onikage shook his head.

"It wouldn't work. These outfits have been enchanted to make you undetectable to the animarium's animals as well as the rangers. "

"So I... HAVE to wear... that?" She replied

Onikage nodded silently.

Toxica blew out a long suffering sigh.

"Ugh! Alright ... FINE! I will wear it, for the good of the mission." She said begrudgingly.

"Yes!" Jindrax blurted out before he could stop himself, his face immediately turned a bright shade of red as he clapped his hands over his mouth.

Toxica whirled around to face him and he gulped, knowing fully well that she was MORE than capable of blasting him to kingdom come

"Yes because with these outfits we ... Have a better chance of nabbing the princess!" He covered quickly.

Toxica's gaze lingered on him and he could've sworn he saw amusement flickering in her beautiful dark eyes.

"Um ... Uh ..." He stuttered as he found himself unable to tear his gaze away from here.

Onikage's voice brought them back to reality.

"Good, put them on and meet me at the quarry once night fully falls. Tonight is a new moon, the perfect night. " Onikage said as he disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"Ugh, I can't believe I have to WEAR this... monstrosity!" Toxica said as she looked at her reflection in a large mirror she had conjured.

"Well I don't know about you, but I like mine, it's much more breezy and comfortable than my armor ... " He trailed off as Toxica stepped into his view.

The ninja suit fit her like a second skin, and the skirt was quite short, allowing him a generous view of her shapely legs. A pair of slim knee high pair of black leather boots completed the outfit.

"Well?! How do I look?" She asked

Jindrax didn't answer, his eyes seemed to glaze over as they slowly traveled the length of her body, all the way down to her feet and back up again to meet her eyes.

"You look ... how do the humans put it...? HOT!" He said with a flirtatious grin.

"I will say that this thing is remarkably comfortable and... wait ... what did you say?" She said.

"You look smokin' hot in that!" He repeated.

"I feel so foolish wearing this." She admitted

"Well don't, because you look gorgeous ... not that you don't ALWAYS look gorgeous!" He said quickly as she looked sharply at him, her eyes flashing dangerously.

He rubbed the back of his neck as a blush crept up his face.

"It's just ... you look extra amazing in that outfit. " he added

Her gaze softened

"Really?"

He grinned

"Really.

She suddenly dashed at him and threw her arms around his neck.

He knew he shouldn't, Orgs weren't supposed to show affection or compassion, and if they were caught, they'd be in even bigger trouble than they already were. But that didn't stop his arms from wrapping around her waist and embracing her tightly.

In the back of her mind, Toxica knew what they were doing was forbidden, but she couldn't stop herself from nestling her cheek in the crook of Jindrax's shoulder and inhaling deeply, comforted by his unique scent, which was oddly akin to cotton candy.

Suddenly, she released him

'Too soon.' Jindrax found himself thinking as her scent swirled around him, teasing him; dark and spicy, mysterious and sultry.

'Just like her.' he thought to himself

He was suddenly aware of her hands grasping his

"Thanks ... for doing this with me."

"Hey, were a team, right? You're also my best friend, and what kind of best friend would I be if I let you do this all by yourself?" He said as he looked around at the darkening forest

"Onikage will be waiting for us, we'd better go. Ready?" He said as he offered his arm.

She smiled as she slipped her arm through his.

"Ready!"

And with that, they teleported out of the forest.
