With my head on the passenger seat window and my headphones at full volume, we take the exit into forks washington. "are you ready for school sweetie?" my mom asked. "I'm really nervous, I'm a junior taking senior classes." she nods. "i understand sweetie.'' I turn my head back to the window thinking about junior year. "do you think i'll ever get a boyfriend, mom?'' I asked. "Honey, you've never been in a relationship, nor been in love. maybe try and focus on school. but then again it's always your choice." she says. I nod and put my earbuds back in.
{I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE- maneskin}
A couple minutes pass and we end up in our new driveway. We get out and start bringing boxes in. a couple more hours pass and all of my things are in my room. My twin bed next to my window, bookshelf next to my closet door. Dresser next to my bedroom door, fairy lights hanging on my bed frame. A huge soft navy blue rug in the middle of my hardwood floor. With my closet door covered in polaroid pictures of my friends from New york. This is very new for me. I'm used to big stores and big homes, not small markets and even smaller schools. While I was unpacking my books I heard my mom call me for dinner. As I ran down the stairs in my fluffy socks, the doorbell rang, "I'll get it." I muttered walking sluggishly to the door. I opened it and there stood an average height brunette girl with what seems to be her dad. "Yeah?" I asked. "Hey, im charlie and this is my daughter bella, we meant to come here earlier but i got called into the police station." he added. "Oh hey, I'm Cody, and this is my mom rebecca." I said while my mom walked towards us. "Oh hello, would you like to come in? But take your shoes off first we just got the floor mopped." she asked. He nodded, pushing his daughter inside while taking their shoes off. We led them to the dinner table and began eating spaghetti. We were talking about random things. Bella and I finished eating before our parents did. as we walked up stairs to my bedroom. "Well this is it, I guess." I muttered. "Oh. It's a lot nicer than my own. I used to come down here in the summer when I was 6. But I stopped when my mom got remarried."
