Chapter 1: Awake
I awake in the cold of the night tied to a wall I groan as I struggle to move in any way shape or form Struggling to open my eyes all I see is a stone floor. What the hell happened to me?
Why am I tied up? Don't they know that has no effect on me? Why am I even a prisoner in the first place? What….what did I do? So many questions my mind racing all this while I was struggling to move I feel like I've been in a coma for… how long have I been asleep god my head is spinning.
I go wide eyed as the memories start flooding I've been asleep these past years. My purpose is clear and me being here is obvious just by sensing the presence here theirs powerful beings in this base potentially the strongest combination of Teigu users I've ever felt in my entire existence I remember my name now what happened before… I came here looking for a new wielder but that doesn't explain why I'm tied up do they just have trust issues?
My head was pounding I barley remember how long I've been out so many questions race to my mind.
I decide that patience is the name of the game here right now its the literal dead of night I rest my head against the wall and begin focusing my energy to regain my strength by the time dawn hits I should be at my potential again.
6 hours later
My eyes beam open someones coming, someone with a powerful aura yes someone who's killed hundreds of people this person knows what loss is they know the horror of war is I feel it getting closer and closer until they get to the door
when It opened I saw a black haired girl with red eyes relatively short with a Teigu in the shape of a sword Murasame the one hit killer.. seen it one to many times
"if I die before I see another Teigu in the shape of a sword ill die happy"
"I see your awake.. do you mean my Murasame?" she asked
"what else would I be talking about?"
she stood there with a blank face for a few seconds blinked twice then started talking
"how many Teigu's have you seen in your life?"
"just forget about it for right now"
I stood there in silence studying her some more she did the same
"you need to eat; its been about a day since we found you"
"I agree"
They found me? From where I barley remember when I was last conscious.
she then pulled out of plate with food on it. It was a simple meal rice with a sliver of Kuka tuna a delicacy in the world because of how hard the fish is to catch. Did she not know who I was?
"I'm not eating that"
she took a fork piercing the tuna and brought it up to my face
"now's not the time to be picky"
I turned my head so she couldn't spoon feed me
"I'm not eating that"
I said in a menacing tone it wasn't happening I decided. I looked over and her eyes were full of determination over something so simple… who the hell was this person?
"you will eat"
I opened my mouth to retaliate but before I could she seized that moment and shoved the fork with the tuna straight into my mouth I went wide eyed she was so fast I should have seen that coming. She holds my mouth in place to make sure I swallow.
After its down and she lets go, I start coughing and gagging
"how did it taste.. delicious? heavenly?" she asked failing to notice me about to throw up
I don't answer my eyes just start to water from the disgust of the thing she just put into my mouth
"ar-are you okay? Your really pale" she asks realizing my state of being
"ye-yea heavenly Is not the word Id use"
"my apologies the fish must have been raw"
no one here knew who I was and this whole fish ordeal has proved it so.
"when well I be released of my binds?" I asked with a polite voice
"when boss wishes to speak with you which should be soon im going to inform her that your awake" she turned to leave
"whats your name?" I ask
"Akame of Night Raid"
"your from a city called night raid?"
she makes a confused expression
"have you never heard of us?"
"I cannot say that I have"
she had a blank face on her before leaving with her food in her hand and her sword at her side
30 minutes pass and I feel another powerful Teigu wielder on there way to my room
my head peaks up before the door even opens
a blonde woman with the Lionelle Teigu a fiery aura enters the room she's a killer just looking at those eye's of hers you can tell.
"cmon kid boss wants to speak with you. Let me free you of those restraints"
I followed her through halls made of brick and stone as we passed room after room. We were in a fortress from the looks of this whatever this night raid was they definitely were expecting an attack at all times the other thing I noticed was how big place was going from where I was being held to where I was going was almost 15 minutes of walking which is more then it sounds.
"Here he is boss" the blonde says
the presence of power is finally revealed all that patience has payed off I now get a good hard look at all of them
the same black haired girl with Murasame that I've already met
a strong muscular man donning Incursio
a green hair kid with dragon wires something I've never seen used in action
a purple hair cltuz who was donning Extase
pink haired girl wielding Pumpkin one of the strongest Teigu's
and in the middle of it was was a white haired woman with a stern expression and cigar in her mouth with a robotic metal arm and eye patch over one of her eye's, you can tell she's seen battle not only from her scars and missing limbs but from her face as well. She may not have used any imperial arms but she definitely has before and is still a fearsome warrior. the white haired woman spoke first breaking the incredible tension and silence
"may I ask your name?"
I hesitate to answer but I do know what I was called after all
"Tatsumi" I answer
"well Tatsumi lets turn the clock round about a day ago. We found out a group of mercenary's were scouting out our location and selling it to the empire by the time we could make out move all we found where torn apart bodies. The bodies had claw marks all over there bodies and ripped flesh We assumed a danger beast got to them but that was highly unlikely there's nothing big enough to kill 15 men all heavily armed in the nearest 40 miles by this base"
I look at her. Did I do that? I thought I've been in hibernation this entire time
"we determined that this had to be the work of someone but we couldn't tell who until we found tracks"
I look over at all the members they were looking at me waiting for any change in facial expression from me, they got it
"that's when we found you Tatsumi. You were laying on the ground out cold"
"you think I killed them?" I ask
"everything seems to point to you Tatsumi but even if you did all we want to know are your intentions"
she was cold calculated with the way she spoke
"OK cut the shit pip squeak" the pink one said
I look over to her
"you killed that many guys with NO Teigu? Im not buying that its hidden here somewhere."
I look over at the pink haired one and then around the room at everyone else, they really don't know
"my Teigu?"
"yes YOUR Teigu we all know you have one no freaking way did a little guy like you take out 15 guys with no sword. So what is it huh lets hear it"
"Mine." the leader said shutting her up
"your going to have to forgive Mine shes really nice once you get to know her!" said the blonde one
I kept silent not saying a word lost in thought I would have know if I Had killed people right? But I did do it this was intriguing my body must have made its way here on autopilot and found those guys and decided to kill them. I look up at them they can clearly tell I'm in thought my silence is deafening to them
"maybe he just needs an introduction to us" the burly black haired on states
I look over to him "yes that would be nice. Ill tell you all you want to know if you just tell me who you guys are, do we have a deal?" I ask in a well mannered sort of way
"yes we do" said the white haired one taking a puff out of her cigar
everyone then introduced themselves to me and what Teigu they used I already knew the last bit of information but that doesn't matter.
"Akame, Lubbock, Mine, Bulat, shelee, Leone and Najenda" I say repeating their names Lubbock looked a little uneasy when I called the boss by her real name
"its wonderful to meet all of you" I say with a light smile on my face
they are a little of put of by my sudden kindness but they seem to be ok with it and bared smiles on them except mine who had a disapproving look on her face the entire time
"nice to meet you to, now I recall we made a deal" the boss said
"yes we did, ask your questions"
"did you kill those men?"
"I think so.."
"you think so? Tatsumi we made a deal here" Leone cut in
"I know its just… Its been so long…. Yes I believe I killed those men"
"well Tatsumi before I ask about your past and who you really are so we can decide if your friend or foe let me ask this? Do you have a Teigu?"
I look around the room they expected an answer all of them wanted to know how those men ended up dead including me. This was something I would have to reveal here and now so they understand my situation and possibly help me and I can help them.
"no I do not wield a Teigu… I am the Teigu"
Well that's the first chapter done I'm REALLY enjoying the story so far tell me what you guys think. Also the whole story will not be in first person I just wrote in first person for the first chapter so we get a perspective
