Severus Snape Shocked

Severus Snape was walking down to an apothecary in Diagon Alley when a little girl bumped into him and smiled.

"Sorry." The little girl said.

"Quite." Severus said, "Where are your parents?"

"Um..." The little girl said.

"Lily Elaine Snape!" A woman's voice said.

Severus froze at hearing the little girl's name then he saw a woman approach them and wondered who she was.

"Mummy, I am over here." Lily said.

The woman suddenly froze looking at him and said, "Severus?"

"Yes and who are you?" Severus questioned.

The woman blinked and said, "Ah...that's right I haven't told you yet how I feel about you yet and probably won't until after I'm done with some things and change my name because of that idiot goat!"

Severus was confused.

The woman giggled and said, "I'm assuming you are still following my cousin, Lord Voldemort and he knows the truth. I don't tell you until our courtship starts which my cousin approves of by the way."

"Mum, you mean this man is my daddy?!" Lily said.

"Yes, but Lily you will stay with your father. Sweetie, I know that mine and your father's past wasn't exactly peachy but you must listen to him." The woman said.

"I understand, Mum because daddy is working for Uncle Voldemort and not the goat." Lily said.

The woman smiled at Lily and then looked at Severus and said, "My darling husband, I know our daughter will be safe with you after all she is the Heiress to a powerful bloodline." Then she disappeared.

"Dad?"

Severus looked at the little girl.

"Your assumptions are correct, dad. I'm from the future and you always hate it when mum makes an exit like that because it reminded you that mum was the Misteress of Death but also that mum was a mixture of a Slytherin and Gryffindor. " Lily said.

Severus' eyes went wide with shock at hearing that.

"Mum said that you were very clever and that you could probably figure out who she really is before it's time for her to tell you." Lily said.

"Your mother assumes that I will figure her identity out before then?" Severus questioned.

Lily nodded and said, "Mum personally gave you a clue. Also, Mum 's magic will know that I belong to you both before hand."

Severus sighed.

Suddenly, they heard, "Severus, when did you have a daughter?"

Severus and Lily turned to see the Weaseleys approaching them and Harriet Potter was with them.

Harriet stared at the little girl standing with Professor Snape and just smiled.

"Find something amusing, Ms. Potter?" Severus questioned.

Harriet looked at Professor Snape and said, "I find it amazing that you have daughter and that she's beautiful. " Harriet answered.

Severus blinked.

"Oh come on, Harri!" Ron whined.

"Ron, I am pretty sure that Professor Snape has a personal life that he doesn't like to share; so what's not to say that he may have a beautiful wife and daughter. " Harriet said.

Lily giggled.

Harriet just smiled and then said, "Professor, you have a beautiful daughter."

"Thank you, Miss Potter." Severus said.

"But when did you have a daughter, sir?" Hermione questioned.

Severus sighed.

Harriet noticed that Professor Snape didn't like the questioning and said, "Mione, no offense but don't you think you're invading Professor Snape's personal life?"

Severus was surprised by what James's and Lily's daughter was saying to her friend.

"Harriet, I am just curious." Hermione said.

"I know but leave it alone." Harriet said.

"But?"

"No, Mione. It's Professor Snape's personal life."

"Well, Dumbledore will want to know." Molly said.

Harriet immediately turned and said, "Professor Snape is allowed to have secrets and may be he didn't want anyone to know about his daughter for a reason!" Harriet said.

"Miss Potter, while I am confused about you coming to mine and my daughter's aid. Thank you for it." Severus said.

Suddenly, they all heard a thud and turned to see Lucius laying on the ground.

"Severus, is it true?" Narcissa questioned.

"Yes. This my daughter and she told me that her calls her by her nickname at times." Severus said.

"Well, what is her nickname, Severus?" Narcissa asked.

"It's Elly or Ella." Severus said suddenly.

Lily blinked but smiled at her father because he had guessed her nickname correctly well both of her nicknames anyway.

[Time Skip to 5th year at Hogwarts/ the beginning of when Harriet learns the truth]

There was complete confusion at Hogwarts as to who would have a daughter with Professor Snape. A lot of the student body threw theories out there and some of them were far fetched.

Some students thought that Professor Snape had made a love potion for Elly's mother to love him. Others thought that Elly was a secret love child between Professor Snape and another person.

Lily well Elly thought it was funny how people thought that she had come into existence.

"Elly?"

"Yes, father?"

"You seem to be curious about the Golden Trio?"

"Well, Mum told me that the only one that wasn't trustworthy was Ronald Weaseley. As for Miss Granger, she'll rock her husband's world and her husband isn't Ronald Weaseley. "

Severus was surprised by that.

"Besides, Mum can communicate with her past self some how but she says that you will always rock her world, Dad." Elly said looking at Snape.

(Mind you that this conversation between Severus and his daughter is happening during double potions class Slytherins and Gryffindors)

Snape was stunned to hear that and he saw that Miss Granger heard about her husband and she rocking her world. However, he noticed that Miss Potter was completely focused on her potion for once.

"Would you prefer I call you Ella instead of Elly?" Severus asked his daughter.

"Either one is fine, dad. Mum says that you call Ella when I surprise you and Elly when I disappoint you." Ella said, "Joking, Dad. Both you and Mum either call me Elly or Ella."

"Professor Snape?"

Severus turned to see that it was Draco and said, "Yes, Mr. Malfoy?"

"Is it legal for parents to have their children with them to work?" Draco asked curiously as well as concerned.

"No but Elly is here for a reason and she seems to be at least either four or six years old. " Severus answered.

Lily giggled at her father.

Severus looked at his daughter and said, "What's so funny, young lady?"

"Well, Mum had me at sixteen but she was emancipated at the age of fourteen." Elly said.

Hermione's eyes bugged as she said, "That would mean that your mother would be twenty-two years old, Elly. It also means that Elly is in fact six years of age which means that Elly's mother married Professor Snape either before her sixteenth birthday or that Elly was born before her mother's seventeenth birthday."

THUD

Everyone looked to see Professor Snape passed out on the floor.

"Granger, I don't think Professor Snape was expecting what you had just said about him marrying Elly's mother when she was sixteen?!" Pansy said.

"Who would allow Elly's mother marry at sixteen?" Blaise questioned.

Elly laughed and said, "That would be Uncle Slytherin because Mum informed him about everything. "

All the students were stunned by that.

Professor Snape was around and Harriet Potter was beside him, which surprised him in some way.

"Are you alright, Professor Snape?" Harriet asked concerned.

Severus was surprised by her concern for him and said, "Yes, it seems that since Elly has arrived in my life; I have been shocked constantly."

Harriet smiled and said, "I can only assume that you and her mother have raised her well. She does seem to hate Ginny and Ron though?"

"I've noticed that as well and she seems okay around Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson, and Blaise Zanbini as well as Hermione Granger, the Weaseley Twins, and the two elder Weaseley brothers. As well as some others from the holidays at certain Grim place." Severus said.

Harriet knew that Professor Snape was referring to Grimmauld Place.

The 5th year was going well until Harriet was being sent visions by Voldemort, which caused Harriet as well as few others to go to the Minstery of Magic.

A week later...

Harriet was at Private Drive praying for a miracle of sorts; because she missed Professor Snape and Elly. She also missed Sirius who surprised everyone by apologizing to Professor Snape. She knew that Professor Snape was probably dealing with being a spy as well as a father. She also hoped that Voldemort wasn't harming Elly to get Snape to corporate.

Suddenly, an owl entered and dropped a letter on her lap which was from Gringotts. Harriet realized it was important and asked her uncle to drop her off at the Leakey Calderon.

Meanwhile at Riddle Manor...

Lord Voldemort was stunned to see a little girl with Severus Snape as well as the rest of the Death Eaters.

"Severus, where did she come from?" Voldemort questioned.

"Well, her mother left her with me and said something in context to the future." Severus answered.

"Like what?" Lucius questioned.

"All I know is that Elly's mother said that she hadn't told me who she was yet and said that the Dark Lord was her cousin." Severus answered.

"Severus, are you telling me that I let my cousin marry you?" Voldemort asked.

Bellatrix laughed.

Elly glared and said, "Mrs. Le Strange, my mother thought you were very slutty towards Uncle Voldemort. Yes, Lord Voldemort is my mother's cousin but I call him uncle. Mom also says that you just want to get into Uncle Voldemort's pants and that you truly don't respect him."

"HOW DARE YOU, YOU ARE DAUGHTER OF A WHORE?!" Bellatrix screamed ready to attack Elly.

The DeathEaters gasped in horror when both Voldemort and Severus protected Elly from Bellatrix.

"Bellatrix, you're insulting my cousin's and Severus' daughter! I don't know my cousin as of yet but I will not tolerate you insulting her, Severus, or Elly! But let me make this perfectly clear, I must have chosen Severus for my cousin's husband for reason!" Voldemort ranted angrily.

"But my lo..." Bellatrix trailed off when an owl dropped a letter in front of Voldemort.

Voldemort gave the owl something and then opened letter and read it to himself:

Lord Voldemort,

I am writing to you from Gringotts and it seems that there is a lot that has been kept from myself and you. I learned that both you and I hail from the Peverell bloodline that married off into the bloodlines of Salazar Slytherin, Guants, Godric Gryffindor, and Potter.

You're a descendent of both Slytherin and Guant side of the Peverell bloodline; while I'm a descendent of both Gryffindor and Potter of the Peverell bloodline. It also means that Dumbledore has manipulated both of us in some way or another.

I am sure you can figure out the rest, but I wish to known as Selene Rose Peverell for now and not as Harriet Jayme Potter. Basically, I changed my name for now.

Also, my future self had been talking with me constantly about our relationship with Severus Snape. I must admit that I actually did have a crush on Severus Snape before any of this started, but it will be upto you whether I marry Severus at sixteen or not.

Voldemort continued reading the letter and when he read to the end it said:

Your Cousin unexpectedly,

Harriet Potter now known as Selene Peverell

Voldemort just smiled which surprised his followers.

"My Lord?" Lucius questioned.

"It seems that my cousin has come out of hiding and she will be coming here." Voldemort stated.

Severus blinked in shock because he knew that he would be meeting Elly's mother today and he was going to have to report back to the Order of the Phoenix about this.

Elly looked at her father and said, "Daddy, Mummy has already been aware of this and I have a feeling that she's happy to see you finally."

Severus sighed and looked at Elly then said, "I am not exactly sure what your mother is thinking for leaving you here in the past with me then I get to meet her past self now and I am completely nervous. "

Elly replied, "I think mum feels the same way, dad."
