Luz and Amity found out from Eda that her old friend Raine was being held by Darius, head witch of the Abomination Coven. Hunter provided them with the exact location. With no time to lose, Luz, Eda and Amity made their way to where Raine was being kept.

In the distance, they could see the tower where Raine was being held. In the window, they could see Darius.

"Be careful," Eda said. "This guy is no joke."

"We got this, right Amity?" Luz said while looking over at Amity.

Amity became flustered and nodded her head.

Luz, Amity and Eda snuck into the castle. They would need a distraction. Luckily, Eda was good with distractions.

"Hey, slimeball! Over here!" Eda shouted from the hallway.

"Hey, get back here!" Darius ran out the door, chasing Eda.

"Now's our chance..." Amity whispered.

They went over to where Raine was being held and tried to untie them. Suddenly, Raine's eyes opened and they grabbed Luz and tossed her aside, untying themselves. They appeared to be under some sort of mind control.

Darius appeared from behind Amity.

"Well, well...Alador's youngest...won't the Emperor be disappointed..."

"Let Raine go!" Amity yelled.

Darius laughed. "Oh please, what're you gonna do? You can't possibly match my power!"

Amity summoned an abomination.

"Don't make me laugh..." Darius clinched his fist and the abomination dissolved.

"What?" Amity was dumbfounded.

"Be gone..."

Darius morphed into his abomination form and launched Amity at the wall, knocking her out.

"Amity!" Luz yelled out.

"Ah, Luz the human...I've heard so much about you...how you managed to escape the wrath of Emperor Belos is beyond me, but I'm not so merciful..."

"Bring it! I'm more formidable than you think!"

"Heh, sure you are..."

Darius swiped towards Luz, who jumped out of the way and used a fire glyph to blind him.

"Gah!" Darius was irritated. He morphed his eyes to get rid of the soot, and looked to find Luz was gone.

"Where the hell are you, human? You can't hide from me!"

Using the invisibility glyph, Luz snuck behind Darius and used an ice glyph, which started to freeze him.

"What?" The ice glyph quickly froze Darius solid.

Luz stopped holding her breath and ran towards Amity, who was still unconscious.

"Amity, wake up! We gotta go, now!"

No response.

"Amity, please!"

Amity stirred. Her vision was blurry, but she could just barely make out Luz.

"Luz..."

"Amity, are you okay?"

Amity started getting up. Her vision was coming back.

"Amity, we gotta go...I don't know how long he'll..."

Before Luz could finish, Darius suddenly broke free of the ice. He formed his arm into a blade and impaled Luz through the chest.

"No! Luz!"

Amity looked on in horror as Luz was bleeding from the chest, with Darius laughing behind her.

"You should've just stayed in your world, human..."

Darius pulled it out of her, Luz clutching her chest as she began to lose consciousness.

"Ami...ty..."

Luz fell onto the ground.

"Luz, noo!"

Amity suddenly felt a burning anger inside that was beginning to boil to the surface. Her eyes went pitch black. You took the one I love...you will pay!

Amity could feel her whole body beginning to change into an abomination unlike anything she's ever created. This was pure, concentrated hatred for Darius being unleashed in the form of an abomination.

"What?" Darius couldn't believe what he was seeing. I thought I was the only one who could harness that kind of power...

"Give...her...back!"

Amity lunged toward Darius and they clashed, the force shaking the whole tower.

Eda ran in and grabbed Luz.

"Don't you die on me, kid!"

Eda ran with Luz, but was soon confronted by Raine, who was still under control. Raine took out their violin.

"Raine, please...it's me, Eda..."

Raine readied their instrument.

"Rainestorm...please..."

Raine was about to go after Eda, but something stopped them. They saw a memory of the two of them, sitting in a meadow together. Eda gave Raine a pair of earrings as they sat together in an embrace. They felt around their ears and noticed one was missing and the other was singed. A tear came to Raine's eye as they began to fight the control, and was able to break free. They fell to their knees and Eda helped them up.

"Raine, are you okay?"

"Yea, I should be...what happened?"

Raine noticed Luz had blood on her.

"I need to heal her right away, or she could die!"

Eda and Raine ran out with Luz. The tower was beginning to collapse with Amity and Darius inside battling it out. They were pretty evenly matched, but Amity managed to gain the upper hand by smashing him through the window in the tower. Amity looked down as Darius plummeted nearly 200 feet to the ground below.

Amity had to get out of there fast. Utilizing her newfound abilities, she moved through the stairs as fast as she could as the tower was collapsing around her. She got out just as the whole tower came down.

As Amity started to come back to her senses, she saw Eda and Raine in the distance carrying Luz. She went after them.

Luz woke up. She was in an unfamiliar room. She noticed that she was bandaged up on her chest. Did I...almost die? It turned out Darius missed her vital organs, and Eda was able to get Luz to the healing coven in time.

Luz looked out the window. It was dark out. Eda was nested right beside Luz on the right side of the bed. Luz then looked at the left side of the bed and saw Amity. She sleeps like an angel...

Luz woke them both up.

"Luz! Oh my Titan, I thought you were..." Amity was in tears at the thought of losing Luz.

"It's okay Amity...I'm here..."

Amity hugged Luz, crying her eyes out, thankful that her Luz was still alive.

Meanwhile, outside the ruins of the tower, Darius emerged, shaken but very much alive.

"Looks like the young Blight has the gift...I gotta hand it to Alador...his kids are getting more powerful..."
