Chapter 1: Nervous and Love
POV: Arle
RINGGGG
"Ugh. Shut up alarm."
I had just woken up from this weird dream I had. It was just me in a room with paintings of cats.
Don't ask.
Anyway, I was starting to wake up, and I noticed it was raining. Hard.
"Of course it's raining. It is July after all."
I went downstairs and made some breakfast. All we had was cereal. Which I'm fine with.
To mention something, I have some plans today. First of all, go get groceries, and second, I am going to go out today and see this boy that goes to Primp Magic School. His name is Sig, and from what Amitie and Raffina told me, he is pretty weird. I haven't seen him much, but maybe we will be friends, despite how weird he might be.
Any who, I finished my "amazing" bowl of Lucky Charms, and went to take a shower. However, something changed real quick. The past 2 days, I didn't really think much about me meeting Sig, even I forgot it a few times. But now, ever since I walked into the bathroom, I just couldn't stop thinking about him. Maybe he is cool. Maybe we could be friends. Maybe, we could love each other. Maybe.
But anyway, I finished my shower and was ready to head out. But then,
KNOCK KNOCK
"It's open."
The door opens and I see,
"Raffina? What are you doing here?"
"Oh, I wanted to pick you up and take you to the mall that's a couple of hours away. That is where you are meeting Sig, right?"
"Yeah. How are we getting there?"
"Remember that bus service that has a stop in Primp?"
"Yeah."
"We can just use that to get there!"
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that! How much are the tickets?"
"They are about 20 dollars a person. I already paid for the tickets."
"That's nice of you, Raffina!"
"Thanks. Anyway, I can help, I try my hardest to do. Also, we should get going. The bus leaves in about 15 minutes."
"Yeah, we should."
So that's what we did. We went to the bus stop, got some snacks, and took off on the 2 hour bus ride.
And boy was that some bus ride. Nothing crazy happened, it was just everything I was thinking. I really want to love someone, and Sig might just be the one. Should I tell him? Should I? But right as I was thinking that, we arrived at the bus stop. We got off the bus and saw the big mall across the street. It was huge. It almost looked bigger than the entirety of Primp!
"This mall is HUGE!"
"It is really big. Anyway, where did you and Sig agree to meet up at?"
We decided to meet up at this place that sells chicken. I can't remember its name, though. All I remember from it was a big chicken on top of each location. So I said to Raffina,
"That place with the big chicken."
I really should have mentioned that they sell burgers and chicken. So she says back,
"You mean Chicken Land?"
"Yeah... Sorry, I forgot its name."
"It's OK. Let's go inside. Sig just texted me saying he is here."
We went inside the mall, which I just found the mall's name, being, Grand Puyo Mall. A solid name if I do say so myself. Anyway, we made it to the giant food court. We needed time to find Chicken Land, which gave me time to count all the restaurants. I counted and found out there were 56 options. Yes, 56. This mall is the greatest thing ever.
After a minute, we found Chicken Land. And there he was. He was just reading his bug encyclopedia he got from the book store back in Primp. I was VERY nervous.
"Something wrong?" Asked Raffina.
"Kinda. I'm just nervous."
"But why? You have seen Sig a few times."
"Yeah, but I need to tell him something."
"What is it?"
"You'll see."
We both walked over to Sig. I was so freaking nervous. I just barely made it to the table.
"Hey Sig!" Said Raffina.
"Hey. I see you brought Arle."
"I sure did! Say hi Arle!"
"Uhh, Uh, H-H-Hi S-Sig."
"Is she nervous?" Commented Sig.
"Yeah. By the way, what do you guys want for food?"
"Just get the 10 piece fried chicken bucket." Said Sig.
"Alright, be right back!"
So this is great. Raffina just left me alone with Sig, who I am scared to possibly confess my love to him, and my nervousness is probably making him confused because every other time I acted normal and fine around him. I guess it's time to talk to him.
"Hey, S-Sig."
"Hey. What's up?"
"W-Well, I-I-I really don't k-know how to say put this, but. Oh god, this is hard."
"Just say it. After all, we like each other."
"Ok. Sigh Sig, I think, I think I love you."
Well, I actually said it. But how will he react?
"Arle, I have those same feelings for you.
"Really?"
"Very much so."
Wow. He feels the same way? I'm getting so lucky, it's like this is scripted!
I said, "Wow. That was unexpected. I thought you would reject me immediately."
"Nope. You are really cute."
Huh, no one ever calls me cute.
"Really. Well that's good."
"Yeah. Now, should we kiss?"
Oh lord. Up until this point, I had never kissed a boy before. So this is a first. A big and nervous first.
"S-Sure."
So, he came closer to me and we did it.
We kissed.
We freaking kissed. And not only that, it was a great kiss. Long, peaceful, and just felt great. And this proves 1 more thing.
I love Sig. I love him.
NOTES
Well, never thought I would write a fan fiction, but here we are. So, this story should have more charterers in it(like Carbuncle) and hopefully I will update it more.
In other "news", I updated Steam and saw that Montana has been announced for American Truck Simulator. I play that game a lot(like 200 hours), and of course, I am excited! And, I am of course I am excited for Texas as well.
