Chapter 1: Advice

Naruto Uzumaki never had an easy life, he was hated by everyone in the village except for a few. Ever since he left the orphanage at the age of 5-6,he lived by himself in an apartment he got from the Old man. A few years later when he was around 7-8 years old, Naruto decided to enter the Academy and become Hokage so that everyone could acknowledge and respect him like the Old man. But he realized that school was hard, now at the age of ten Naruto was dead last of his year.

Naruto always pulled pranks around the village instead of training and studying leading him to being the dead last of his class. He had failed the first two semesters and now they were getting a new semester which would be the last before they became genin.

Iruka looked at Naruto who was sitting in front of him, all the other students left since the school year was done. They had a six month break before they came back to school. "Naruto, what should I do with you?" Naruto looked up not knowing how to answer Iruka's questions "I don't know".

"Naruto you are the dead last of this year again. I told you to train and take your lesson's seriously but it seems that you have better things to do in life like pulling pranks." "Naruto, your chakra control is the worst in the class. You are physically one of the weakest students in the class except for your stamina in which I have no idea how you have it with you not training. So again what am I supposed to do with you"

Naruto looked down, he knew what Iruka said was right, he did love pulling pranks and people at least acknowledged him but training is difficult when you have no one to train you "What am I supposed to do when everyone in the village hates me. I have no one to train me or teach me anything. Ramen is the only thing I can buy with the money I have. The other shops won't let me buy anything. And that stupid leaf chakra thing, I do it everyday but it doesn't work. It's like trying to take a drop of water in a big ocean. If you don't know what to do, how am I supposed to know?"

"I understand what you are trying to say but this time I will give you another chance. Meet me at Ichiraku Ramen tomorrow and I will help you." Naruto nodded and ran back home ignoring the glares.

Next Day.

"Hello, Ayame Nee-san" Ayame looked back to see Naruto sitting in the stall, " hello Naruto how are you?" Ayame and Teuchi were the owners of the Ichiraku Ramen shop. Naruto always came here to eat his food since Ayame and her father always fed him as far as he could remember.

"I'm good just waiting for Iruka sensei, '' Naruto replied to his big sister figure "Well, do you want to eat anything?" Naruto nodded,"Let me have a bowl of Miso"

"Can I get a bowl too?" Iruka entered the Ramen stall with a scroll on his hand. "Sure, coming right up" Ayame left and went to the back to make the ramen.

"So why did you call me Iruka sensei" Naruto asked obviously happy that Iruka would help him become Hokage,

"That's a good question Naruto, I will be helping you with this" Iruka put the scroll he was carrying, on the counter. "This Naruto is a scroll that will help you become strong.."

"Woah is it like a cool jutsu that will make me powerful-" Naruto interrupted the Chunin, before he finished what he was saying. Iruka grabbed the scroll and hit Naruto with it. "OWW"

"No Naruto, this is not a jutsu. This scroll contains information that will help you become strong. You complained about the chakra control exercise not working so I did a little research and found an exercise that might help you. This scroll also contains a physical training regimen and what you should eat."

"Ehh Sensei thank you for all this and all but how am I supposed to buy food when the other shops won't allow me to"

" I was getting to that Naruto, do you remember the transformation jutsu we learned a few months ago?" Naruto nodded, "Good I know that you can use that jutsu so I want you to transform into a random person and buy food from stores, the civilians won't be able to pick it up since they don't have any Shinobi training."

"Here is your Ramen" Ayame put two hot bowls of miso Ramen in front of the teacher and student pair and went back to doing her job. "Thank you"

"Wow I never thought of that Sensei, so if I transform into a random person I can just go buy the things I need without worrying about anything" Iruka nodded and started eating his food.

"So Can i read the scroll Sensei?" Naruto took the scroll and started reading, not even waiting for Iruka to answer.

"Hm, it says here that I should do 50 laps, push ups, sit ups, Mountain climbers. Jumping jacks and a lot of physical exercise. It also says something about tree walking, what is that.?"

"Tree walking is another form of chakra control exercise Naruto, by pushing chakra on your feet you can climb trees and walls. If you master this exercise then you will have good chakra control. The reason why I'm giving you this scroll is because this will be your last chance to become strong because after this six month break ends, we will start teaching difficult jutsus and taijutsu.. If you don't come back with good chakra control and you aren't stronger than you will no doubt fail and never become a genin."

Naruto grabbed the scroll and stood up " Thank you for this Iruka sensei, I promise when I come back after the break, I will be stronger than ever. I will become Hokage so believe it." Naruto yelled as he rushed out of the place to a training ground..

Iruka smiled. "That's one of the good things about the brat, he never gives up." Iruka nodded " Yeah you are right Teuchi-san. Well I have work to do so bye" Iruka placed some money on the table and turned to leave

"Where do you think you are going, you better pay for that student of yours" Teuchi grabbed a big spoon. "whoa-What? Why do I have to pay for the bra- '' Iruka didn't finish his sentence as he looked at Teuchi who had a dark look on his face..

"Damn that brat," the Chunin mumbled, leaving the Ramen stall.

Training ground behind Academy

"Ok so this thing says, I have to do fifty laps around the training ground." Naruto put the scroll near a tree and removed his orange jacket. "Let's do this, I'm going to train so hard that when I beat Sasuke, Sakura -chan will go on a date with me". With that said, the young boy started running laps around the lap.

"And 50…." *pant* *pant*. Naruto dropped down on the ground tired. He had just finished doing 50 laps around the training ground and he was already tired. "I can't slack off like this I need to become strong if I want to be hokage"

Naruto jumped up and started doing push ups followed by sit ups, Lunges,squats, burpees, side planks, 30 second planks and much more exercise to get his body in a good shape and increase his stamina.

After 6 hours of training, a tired and limping Naruto went back to his apartment, promising himself to bring water next time...

Next day

Naruto woke up the next day, his body hurting so bad. Naruto got up and went to his small washroom and took a cold shower since that was all he could do with no one able to fix the water system. Naruto put on his orange clothes and went to eat his breakfast.

"Hmmm what should I eat, ramen or bread?" Naruto started looking around his cabinets, realizing that there was no bread or ramen left. Naruto went back to his bedroom and got his frog wallet, he checked around and realized that there was no money.

"Aww man come on, I already spent my monthly money… Ugh now I have to go ask the old man for money" Naruto sighed as he grabbed on his table and left to go get some money. The young Jinchuriki opened the door only for him to jump back and an Anbu landed in front of him..

"Who the hell are you?" Naruto asked, the masked ninja placed a package on the floor and disappeared without saying a single word. Naruto grabbed it and went back inside. Naruto put the package down on his small table and took out a kunai. He tore the package and an envelope fell from it. Naruto grabbed the envelope and opened it, he took the letter and opened it.
"Hello Naruto, this is the sandaime delivering this to you. The envelope in there contains 15,000 ryo. I couldn't bring it myself but I sent one of my anbu to do it."
 Ps: Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Naruto smiled as he took the money and put it inside his toad wallet, "Good, now I can buy the food I want. But before that, I have to transform" Naruto stood there thinking who he should transform into.

Konoha Market:

A figure walked around the Konoha market, a place where all types of different foods and groceries were sold. The figure took out a small paper from his pocket and walked to a stand.

"Good morning Sir, what can I help you with? " asked the stand-owner. The figure looked at the man revealing his brown eyes and black hair.

"Yeah, Can i have a basket of apples, oranges and pineapples? " The man grabbed a basket and started arranging the customer's order. 'They are acting normal when I'm not around' Naruto thought in his mind, after getting the money the young boy hinged into a black haired brown eyed 6 feet man. He went to Ayame and asked her for food he would need. "Good thing Ayame-neechan gave me this note about the foods that I would need and how much it costs"

"Here is your order sir" The man handed Naruto a basket full of oranges,apples and pineapple. "Thank you" Naruto placed the basket on the floor and took out his frog wallet. "How much would that be?"

"That would be a hundred and fifty ryo, Sir." Naruto took out 200 ryo and gave it to the store owner.

'How to cook all three meals for beginners' Naruto looked at the book he was holding, he never was a fan of reading but he needed to learn how to cook since he couldn't buy food from the restaurants in the village other than Ichiraku.

Naruto took the book and continued his grocery shopping, for the next hour or two the young jinchuriki wandered around Konoha's marketplace buying food.

Naruto walked in his neighborhood block and dispelled the transformation jutsu, turning into his 10 year old self. The young Uzumaki entered the apartment that he lived by himself with no-one else. Naruto placed the bags and basket he was carrying on the ground, rubbing and stretching his arm. Naruto grabbed his keys and opened the door, he then proceeded to carry the food he bought inside the apartment and locked his door.

The ten year old then dropped himself onto his small couch and laid there for a while. He was tired from carrying all of that grocery by himself. It had taken him 2 hours to finish his grocery shopping but he was finally done buying enough food for a month. He had bought three bags of white bread, 2 cartons of eggs, 3 gallons of milk, ramen noodles and cooking oil even though he could only cook/make instant ramen.

He had also bought some nutella chocolate, butter, and jam for his bread. He also brought apples, oranges, pineapples, avocado, banana and vegetables. Naruto got up and placed all of his food in the fridge and cabinets.

2 hours Later : Training ground

"Forty-five, forty-six, forty-seven, forty, eight, forty nine, fifty". A young boy with blonde hair could be seen doing push ups in a training ground, Naruto's hand started trembling from the amount of training he had been doing for the last hour. After bringing the groceries home, Naruto ate some instant ramen and went to train after doing 50 laps around the training ground, pull ups on a tree, he went to do push ups.

Naruto grabbed a bottle of water, glad that he brought one today unlike the previous day. Naruto decided to take a thirty minute break and started reading the scroll about the tree walking.

"All right, all i have to do is channel chakra in my legs and walk in this tree. Sounds simple" Naruto put his hand in a ram sign and started gathering chakra onto his leg, Naruto walked towards the tree and placed his leg on it. He took one step another and went to take another step only for him to slip and fall down.

"Owww, that hurt what the hell." Naruto got up from the ground holding his head. Naruto grabbed a kunai and started doing the tree only for him to fall down again and again. This continued for two more hours and Naruto didn't even reach half way through the tree. "Damn it, this is so hard. But I can't give up right now, I never will if I want to become Hokage, I have to master this stupid tree walking even if it takes me a whole year." Filled with confidence Naruto started doing the tree climbing still not making any progress but the young boy never gave up doing the exercise until he ran out of chakra.

Somewhere in a deep forest.

A figure could be seen falling down from a high tree, the figure fell on to the ground. The figure opened its eyes, realizing it was surrounded by wild animals. Before the animals could do anything the figure released some of it's chakra and all the animals fell down.

The figure closed its eyes and started sensing for someone, finding the chakra source he wanted the figure teleported somewhere near the person it was looking for. "I have finally found you, Uzumaki Naruto" said the unknown person staring at Naruto who was sleeping on the training ground near a broken tree.

Author note: All right, I'm done writing chapter one. I hope you guys like it. All right, something to clear up.
1: Naruto will not be OP in this fanfic, not right now.
2: Naruto is not a smart/ hidden prodigy. He is a loser who will work hard to become strong. I've shown this in the tree walking exercise above.
3: I will follow canon and make some of my own arcs and things like: new places, better world building, foreshadowing, more villains, better characters and much more..
4: I will do my best to cover most of the plot holes in Naruto.
5: No child of prophecy
6: More screen time for Konoha 12 and jonin
7: More summoning animals/ diverse
8: You will see some techniques or forms from other anime. I will reference them and give credits.
