Some people wonder if they'll do anything important in their lives. I don't have that problem. I don't have many problems, in fact, since I have a nearly perfect life and am nearly perfect. Even more perfect than usual lately, since the latest Resurrection Games had the highest ratings in Games history. The people were overjoyed to not lose any of their children and they loved Caio as a Victor. So while I wasn't sure what to expect from the meeting with Snow, since I already got paid plenty and already had my dream job, I knew good things were in the works.
President Snow said a lot of boring stuff I wasn't paying attention to. Then I heard "reward" and my ears pricked up.
"So I'm curious, Qin. What would even be a reward for you?" he said.
I interlaced my fingers on the table as my smile went from polite to genuine. "I do have an idea..."

I have another Tribute who slipped through the cracks enough times that I have determined they deserve canonization and am making another special Games to make things right. The winner is somewhere in that list and the others are red herrings carefully chosen to be the most believable for maximum SuSpEnSe. The red herrings either had submitters who gave permission (I told them they'd be herrings because that's only fair) or submitters who are gone (but the Victor might also have an absent submitter so checking for absent submitters won't give away the secret) or submitters I tried to reach but couldn't. If you have a Tribute here and I couldn't get to you, you can remove them if you want or you can request to know the winner and make your decision from there. Or if you don't care just ignore it.
