"Why?" thought 5 year old Naruto as he drifted off to sleep, "Why does everyone hate me?"

He had a dream, but it wasn't like an ordinary dream as it didn't feel like he was dreaming, he could feel, touch, and smell. It was a sewer. Then, he looked up, and he saw a cage, in that cage was...the 9 tailed fox. More specifically, it was the Yin half of Kurama, but Naruto didn't know that. Naruto was really scared, he was trying to run, in his "dream"(it was actually his mindscape, but Naruto didn't know that).

Then the demon spoke, "Hey kid, I ain't gonna hurt you so you don't need to worry about that, but there are some things I need to tell you, then you'll understand your past, why the villagers hate you, and stuff like that."

Naruto just nodded. Then, Naruto asked, "W-what's your name?"

The 9 tailed fox was surprised as no one asked him that, then he said, "My name is Kurama, but everyone knows me as the 9 tailed fox. And I already know your name, Naruto."

Then, Naruto was a bit more relaxed, still scared, but not as much. Naruto then asked, "How do you know me, and how can I talk with you, and…"

Kurama cut him off and laughed, "You sure are curious, I'm gonna explain everything now, so you better pay attention." He said, "So first of all, how can you see me, interact with me, and all that? Well that's because I was sealed inside you by the 4th Hokage, Minato Namikaze. You also asked why I'm not trying to hurt you or something? Two reasons, number 1, there's the cage that locks me in, number 2, even if that cage wasn't there, I wouldn't hurt you as I'm not all that bad as y'all portray me to be, during the 9 tails attack I was being controlled by someone, I'll tell you who that was once you get a bit older. If my other half, the Yang half was sealed inside you, then he would be a bit harsh, and would probably hurt you if the cage wasn't there, but I'm not like that idiot, I'm the Yin half. And the villagers hate you because...well you're the jinchuriki of the 9 tails, and since they're so dumb, they can't see that you're just a kid, instead day see you as a demon. The kids don't know about all this because they were not alive/just babies when the attack on Konohagakure happened, but their stupid parents probably told them not to interact with you. Also, since I'm in your mindscape, I can see what all is happening on the outside, and I see they're trying to hurt you, which is why I'm gonna train you to become as strong as you can be!"

Naruto asked, "Okay, I have some more questions. One, do you know who my parents were? If yes, then who were they? Second of all, why did the 4th hokage seal it in me specifically, why not some other random person? Lastly, WHEN DO WE START TRAINING CAN WE START TODAY!?"

Kurama replied, "Wow you sure are excited for training."

Naruto then said, "Yeah, I'm gonna be the best hokage in Konoha, believe it!"

Kurama said, "As for who your parents were...well, I don't know(he actually did know, but didn't want to tell Naruto right now). I do know however why the 4th hokage sealed it in you. That was because you are an Uzumaki, which means you have a ton of chakra, much more than your average person, which means you had enough chakra to have me sealed inside you and not die."

Then, Naruto asked, "Alright sensei, is that actually all true?"

Kurama said, "Firstly, just call me Kurama, don't call me sensei. And you'll find out if this is true once you wake up!"

Then, Naruto woke up, "Was that all a dream?" he asked himself.

Then he heard a voice, the exact voice that was in his "dream," "No it wasn't a dream," the voice said.

Naruto then thought, "Ah so Kurama wasn't lying." Then Naruto asked out loud, "So how do I interact with you?"

Then Naruto heard Kurama's voice in his head, "I can read your thoughts, so just think of what you want to say, and I'll know."

Naruto replied(to himself), "Alright cool!"

Then Kurama said, "First of all, you have to have a better diet, you can't just eat Ramen for every meal."

Naruto replied, "Common, I thought you were cool."

Kurama said, "Well I guess you were wrong."

Naruto then asked, "Well then, what do I eat?"

Kurama replied, "How about...salad and non-expired milk!"

Naruto groaned and said, "I don't have any vegetables, and the milk I have is expired."

Kurama said, "Well then go ask the Hokage for them you dummy."

Naruto walked towards the Hokage's office, then he heard Kurama say, "USE BODY FLICKER."

Naruto replied, "I'm only 5, do you expect me to know any jutsu?"

Kurama said lazily, "Uzumaki, I have to teach you everything all the way from the very basics don't I…"

Naruto replied, "YES! Which is why I gotta train 24/7!

Finally Naruto reached the Hokage's office. Naruto told Sarutobi, "Hey old man, I need some vegetables and milk."

Sarutobi was really surprised as he's never seen Naruto eat anything that was healthy. Hiruzen said, "Yeah sure I'll send a clone to get you some."

After that, Naruto left and went back home. As usual, all the villagers were shouting at him and some were even pushing him. Kurama was mad.

Kurama told Naruto, "Hey I'm gonna show you a trick." Then, instead of Naruto looking like Naruto, he looked like a mini version of the 9 tails. This made all of the villagers back off.

Naruto exclaimed, "Wow Kurama you gotta teach me how to do that!"

When Naruto reached his home, he ate the food, and he asked Kurama, "Alright we have to start training right now."

Kurama was thinking, "Give me a break." But he replied, "Alright fine, let's go I guess."

Naruto screamed out loud, "LETS GO! YAHOO!"
