"Monty!" Minerva McGonagall said to her older cousin, Fleamont Potter, who was climbing up a tree in a attempt to get Minerva's toy Snitch. "Its alright, we'll get Uncle Harry to get it! Get down from there!"

Fleamont climbed even further up the tree, determined to get Minerva's Snitch. He climbed even higher and Minerva squeezed her eyes shut.

Fleamont grinned as he caught the Snitch in his hand.

"Minnie, look!" Fleamont cried out. "I've got it!"

"Brilliant!" Minerva said anxiously. "Get down from there!"

Fleamont saw how scared Minerva was, so slowly he began to climb down from the tree.

Then, a branch snapped from underneath Fleamont. He yelled and he tried to cling onto another, but that branch snapped too.

"NO!" Minerva shouted as Fleamont fell from the tree, the branches falling with him. Fleamont threw out his arms and he landed with a earsplitting crack on the hard ground.

"MONTY! MONTY!" Minerva screamed. "CHARLUS! EDDY! DAN! JACK! ANYONE! HELP!"

"Fucking hell, you're going to me go deaf." Fleamont said weakly from the ground.

"HOLY SHIT!" Charlus Potter shouted, running over to Minerva and Fleamont. Minerva dragged him over to Fleamont.

"He fell from the fucking tree! I tried to fucking stop him!" Minerva sobbed as she kneeled down beside Fleamont and wiped his bloody forehead.

"Go to the house, get the book on Healing Charms in the kitchen!" Charlus said urgently to Minerva, who ran to the house so fast that she was a blur.

Charlus kneeled down beside Fleamont.

"Come on now, Monty, stay awake for me." Charlus said encouragingly when he saw that Fleamont's blue eyes met his dark brown eyes.

"Okay then." Fleamont mumbled as Charlus gently laid Fleamont on his back. Charlus felt his stomach do a backflip when he saw how much blood was streaming down Fleamont's forehead.

"Stay awake until Minnie comes back with the book, alright then?" Charlus whispered to Fleamont, trying to stop the flow of blood on his little brother's forehead.

Fleamont whimpered as he felt the blood on his forehead.

"Try to stay calm." Charlus said sadly as Minerva came running back with the book. "Thanks Min. Run back and get a Calming Draught, a Blood Relishing, bandages, a cloth and a bottle of water." He said.

Minerva nodded and ran towards the house once again.

"Come on, stay strong Monty!" Charlus panicked as he opened the book and turned it to the page entitled Serious Injuries.

"I'm trying..." Fleamont mumbled sleepily as Charlus gently whispered Healing Charms over the bloody cut on Fleamont's forehead.

"Talk, keep talking." Charlus panicked as Fleamont's eyes fluttered.

"I'm trying." Fleamont shrieked in pain as Charlus gently touched both of his arms, which were at a very frightening angle.

"I'm sorry." Charlus whispered as Fleamont sobbed. "But I'm going to have to straighten your arms out."

Fleamont's eyes widened.

"No, no, no, no!" He sobbed. Charlus stroked his bloody forehead, tears streaming down his face too.

"But I have to." Charlus said sadly.

Fleamont's small body shook with fright.

"Okay then." He said quietly, trembling as Charlus gently took hold of his arm. "Please be qui- AHHHHH!!" He screamed as Charlus straightened his arm out as quickly as he possibly could.

"I'm sorry!" Charlus yelped as Fleamont howled with pain underneath him.

Minerva came running back with the things Charlus had asked for.

"There you go." She said, placing them beside Charlus. "Anything else?"

"Floo Grandda or Mum or Dad." Charlus said as Fleamont's sobs decreased slowly. Minerva nodded as she ran towards the house once more.

"The other arm now." Charlus said. Fleamont nodded, gulping back tears.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!" Fleamont screamed as Charlus straightened out his arm.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Charlus said as Fleamont shook with sobs. "Here, calm down, I have to put the bandages on your arms now."

Fleamont nodded as Charlus gently stroked his forehead.

Charlus took the bandages and picked up his wand.

"I'm healing your arms now." He said quietly. "It won't hurt as badly."

Fleamont nodded as Charlus gently pointed his wand at both of his arms.

"Healio."

Fleamont began shaking violently with pain and tears.

"It's alright now, buddy." Charlus said as Fleamont shivered violently with cold, pain and tears. "It's alright now. I'm just going to bandage your arms."

Charlus saw Fleamont close his eyes and he felt tears building up in his eyes.

"Monty, stay strong, alright? Charlus is here." Charlus muttered as he wrapped bandages around Fleamont's recently Healed arms.

"Thank you." Fleamont muttered softly as Charlus began washing the blood off of his forehead with the water and cloth.

Charlus smiled sadly as Fleamont opened his eyes once more.

"I love you." Charlus said, giving Fleamont's hand a small squeeze. "Now let's check for any other injuries."

He saw Fleamont's panicked face. Charlus squeezed his hand softly.

"I'll try not to hurt you." Charlus said softly as Fleamont gripped his hand weakly.

Charlus muttered spells for the next few minutes as Fleamont wavered in and out of consciousness. Charlus pressed his left hand down on his forehead, stroking his hair.

"Right then, you'll be bruised and battered for the next couple of weeks or so, but I'll reckon you'll be alright." Charlus said to Fleamont, who was looking at him worriedly.

"Can we go inside now? I'm quite cold." Fleamont shivered violently as the clouds darkened over them. Charlus kissed Fleamont on his forehead and smiled at him.

"I'll give you my jumper." Charlus said, tugging the jumper over his head and tucking it around Fleamont's icey cold body.

Minutes past, and Fleamont was warm as he leaned against Charlus's shoulder, who absentmindedly stroked his hair.

Fleamont said. "Is that Minnie with Grandda? Heya Grandda! Ouch ouch!" He groaned, when he tried to sit up.

"Goodness, what happened to you?" Alexander Potter said, kneeling down beside Fleamont and his eyes widening when he saw the blood on his clothes.

"I fell from the tree while trying to get Minnie's toy Snitch." Fleamont mumbled, yawning loudly as Alexander muttered a couple of spells.

"Well, you're healed quite a bit." Alexander said. "Was that you, Charlus?"

Charlus nodded.

"Great job." Alexander said quietly as Fleamont yawned again.

BANG!

Fleamont yelled.

"Holy shit." Minerva muttered.

Fleamont was shaking violently in Charlus's lap and Charlus was trying to soothe him.

"It's a storm." Alexander said, looking up at the sky.

"We better go inside." Charlus said, standing up with Fleamont in his arms.

"Charlie, I can walk." Fleamont mumbled into Charlus's shoulder, where he had placed his head.

"Too bad, I'm carrying you." Charlus said as Fleamont settled in his arms. "Minnie, get all of the stuff you brought out here."

"No, I'll take it." Alexander said. "Minnie, go Floo Lottie and Harry. Because if I know Lottie, she'll go nuts if we don't tell her."

"Yup." Minerva shouted over the loud winds as she sprinted towards the door.

"Monty, how are you feeling?" Alexander asked quietly.

Fleamont groaned and went very pale. "I feel weak, as if I'm about to vomit, and I feel tired and sore. Other then that, I'm fine."

"Blood Relishing potion? Here, drink up." Alexander said as Fleamont coughed, due to the rain that was falling down.

Fleamont drank all of the potion, grimacing at the taste. Alexander chuckled at the look on his face.

"Here, I'll put you on the couch." Charlus said as the three entered Potter Manor. Fleamont sighed at the sudden warmth. He yawned as Charlus placed him on the couch.

"Can I sleep now?" He groaned as Charlus placed Fleamont's head on his lap and began stroking his messy black hair.

"Can he? I'm not an expert." Charlus said to Alexander.

Alexander nodded.

"Yeah, you can." Charlus whispered to Fleamont as he stroked his forehead. "Have a nice rest there. I'll be here when you wake up."

Fleamont smiled sleepily at Charlus and closed his eyes. When Fleamont was finally asleep, Charlus could feel the tears falling down his face.

"What's wrong?" Alexander asked.

Charlus wiped away the tears. "For a moment outside, I thought Monty was going to die." Charlus sobbed. "My baby brother."

"He's alright, thanks to you." Alexander said comfortingly as Charlus gently cradled Fleamont in his arms.

Minerva suddenly tumbled out of the fireplace.

"Minnie?" Charlus asked.

"They're coming now." She said.

"Thank Merlin." Alexander said as Charlus gently laid Fleamont on the couch.

"MONTY!" Charlotte Potter yelled, tumbling out of the fireplace. "Holy shit." She swore.

"What happened?" Henry Potter asked, emerging out of the fireplace, his face going white when he saw Charlus with his tear stained face, Fleamont looking very pale.

"He fell from the tree, trying to get Minnie's toy Snitch." Charlus said. "He broke both of his arms but I Healed him alright..."

"You're being fucking modest." Alexander said.

"But it only took fifteen minutes-"

"There goes the modesty again!"

Minerva smirked.

"But still-" Charlus said, yawning loudly as he shifted Fleamont in his tight grip and Fleamont's head fell onto his chest. "It only took fifteen minutes." He mumbled sleepily, surrendering to sleep and exhaustion.

Charlus closed his eyes, exhausted with the afternoon's events and he was just so tired, he just to close his eyes just for a moment... Just for a moment...

The others watched as Charlus fell asleep, his breathing deep and slow. Charlus's grip on Fleamont loosened as they both slept peacefully, absolutely exhausted.

Henry stepped forward and scooped Charlus and Fleamont in his arms. Charlus moaned softly and his eyes flickered.

"Here, Dad, take Monty." Henry whispered. Alexander willingly took Monty in his arms and over to Charlotte.

"Hey, Charlus, it's only Dad, you're fine." Henry muttered as Charlus gently stirred.

"Is Monty okay?" Charlus asked anxiously, fidgeting.

"He's fine, you're fine." Henry said gently, stroking Charlus's hair.

"Are you sure?" Charlus asked.

Henry smiled gently as Charlus closed his eyes.

"I promise."

Charlus smiled gently at his father one last time and everything went black.

Everything was dark, and Charlus was in a cocoon of wonderful sleep. He didn't want to wake up but he was being drawn from the safe cocoon of sleep. He could feel someone sitting down beside him.

Charlus turned over in the bed, groaning softly.

"Charlie?"

Charlus could feel his hand clench and then someone slipping their hand into his.

Charlus felt someone shake his shoulder gently. He wasn't happy about that. He was just so bloody tired and wouldn't this person let him sleep?!

"What do you want?" Charlus mumbled sleepily.

"Come on, Charlie, open your eyes."

Charlus struggled to open his eyes but the person squeezed his hand encouragingly.

"Hey Charlie." Henry said softly as Charlus looked at him with his brown eyes.

"What's going on Dad?"

"Well, you've been asleep for around twelve hours now." Henry said, feeling Charlus's forehead. He frowned. "Hmm, you feel a bit warm."

"D'you think I'm sick?"

"Probably." Henry said. "Monty told me you gave his jumper so he wouldn't get cold when he fell from the tree, so I guess you got sick because of that."

"How is Monty?" Charlus asked, sitting up in bed with Henry's help.

Henry grinned. "He's great, currently playing Quidditch with the others in the garden. Speaking of which, d'you want to go outside?"

"Alright then." Charlus said, standing up but not before he'd fallen onto the bed again, hit by a sickening wave of light headiness.

"Best take it easy there, Charlie." Alexander said, smiling from the doorway. "Minnie sent me up."

"Of course she did." Charlus said, smiling as he stood up carefully.

Charlus exited the back door, Henry's arms around his shoulder, making it easier to walk.

Charlus may be sick, and he might not be able to play Quidditch, but there was one more thing that Charlus thought about Monty.

At least he was alright.
