SAVANNAH'S P.O.V.
"Savannah, are you listening? Did you hear what I said?" District Attorney Tyne Patterson asked me as I sat in her office the following Monday morning. "Yes, Ma'am." I replied trying to shake off the fog I was still in. We weren't alone in this meeting. We were joined by U.S. Attorney Lincoln Potter (who looked like he should have retired about 10 years ago) and three other suits from the ATF, DEA & FBI. They didn't waste any time letting me get settled or maybe give me a full day before they were ready to put my life on the line.
I looked at Potter. I hated the man and had considered killing him since I had first met him a year before. Even now I couldn't help but glance at the letter opener on Patterson's desk. I could slit his throat with it. Maybe I was more like my father and Gemma than I would like to admit. But when it came to Potter and what he was holding against me I didn't think there was a jury in the world that would convict me. The man basically had been holding my baby hostage for the past nine months.
The past that my parents were so desperate for me to escape on the East Coast followed me through boarding school, college and law school. The job of my dreams in Boston had only become a reality because of my last name and my connection to SAMCRO. They basically gave me no other choice after Kenny came to Boston. It was either send the man I had been in love with my entire life to jail for the rest of his life or find a way to infiltrate SAMCRO and turn certain members over to the ATF, DEA & FBI. My family was probably going to disown me, and Gemma would probably murder me for destroying everything she and my grandfather had built.
But if I agreed to what they were asking, I could walk out of there with my son. With Kenny's son. Connor Jackson Winston had my blue eyes but the rest of him was his father. Connor had been under the care of a Nanny hired by Potter since just before I left Boston. I was not allowed to take him with me. Part of the agreement to keep Kenny out of jail.
I looked back at Potter and then at Patterson. I ignored the other three suits. I sighed as I picked up the pen that was on the desk in front of me and signed the document. I would have done anything at that point to walk out of there with Connor. It would also give me a little time to figure out how to protect my son, his father and my family.
KENNY'S P.O.V.
Three days later I still couldn't wrap my head around it. I had so many questions and nothing made sense. Nothing except for the fact that I did break her heart when I left her in Boston. But pregnant!? What the fuck!? Where is the baby? What happened? These thoughts had kept me up for days. It was now Monday afternoon, and I knew Savannah was at work. She had been there since early this morning. Since I followed her from her house to her office. She hadn't spoken to me since Friday night. She refused to come out of the bathroom while I was still at her house. When I went by on Saturday, I was told by my sister that Savannah did not want to talk to me. I knew by the way Ellie looked at me she knew what happened between Savvy and I in Boston.
I knew it would only be a matter of time before the rest of the family figured it out. I knew that I should talk to my dad and Jax sooner rather than later. But I couldn't yet. I couldn't until I could get the details from Savannah. Did I have a child out there somewhere? Did Savannah and I have a child together? Where is the child?
I couldn't take it anymore. I looked at the time on my phone. It was 4:15pm. Savannah should be getting off work soon. I didn't care that it was her first day. I was going to wait for her outside of her office, and we were going to either have this conversation in the parking lot or she was getting on my bike, and we were going on a ride to somewhere private where we could talk, and I could explain why I had to leave her so unexpectedly in Boston and she was going to tell me about her pregnancy and our child.
I grabbed my kutte off the chair in my room and the clubhouse and threw it on as I walked out the door into the hallway and into my dad. "You're needed in the Chapel." he said in his soft no-nonsense tone. A tone I would never question under normal circumstances. But nothing had been normal in the past 72 hours. "I have to take care of something. Whatever Club business is going on needs to wait or needs to be discussed without me." I replied, attempting to walk past him.
"Son..." he began...but before he could continue, we both heard shouting coming from the main room of the clubhouse. I looked back at my dad, his eyes meeting mine filled with concern and questions.

I followed my daughter from her house to the clubhouse. The shit was really about to hit the fan and I didn't know how to prevent it. I looked over at Sophie who was in the passenger seat. She looked like she was about to throw up.
"She had a baby without me being there. Without any of us knowing. Without telling Kenny she was pregnant. That is never the way I would want my daughter to experience pregnancy and the first few months of my grandson's life." I said to Soph.
We had been asked to meet Savvy at her house for lunch. We didn't realize it was going to be a party of four. Savvy, Soph, me and my grandson. Holy shit...I was a grandmother! Jesus, Jax is a grandfather! A grandfather who was probably going to kill our godson...the father of our grandson. There were so many questions Savannah would have to answer but first things first. This baby needed to meet his dad and the rest of our family.
When I held him and he looked at me I swear I was seeing Savannah in his eyes, in my eyes. That sapphire blue. He obviously had been loved very much by my daughter in his first nine months, and probably the nine months before he was born. He was happy and healthy. And Savannah was a good mother. I could tell their bond was strong by the way he looked for her when either Sophie or I was holding him. The way he yelled "Mama" if she wasn't looking at him and then start laughing right afterwards. And when he grinned you could see his little dimple pop out. Jax's dimple.
"Lexi don't let Jax hurt Kenny. It's not going to help the situation." Sophie said a few minutes later as we pulled into the lot at TM. I pulled into the spot next to Savannah and scanned the lot and the garage. I didn't see Jax, my sons, Opie or Kenny outside anywhere.
The plan was to get them into the Chapel and then have Savannah bring Connor in. Soph and I walked into the main room of the clubhouse. It was quiet, which was the norm for a Monday afternoon. Jax was walking towards the Chapel when we walked in. He smiled when he saw me. Surprised I was there. Sophie hugged Opie and whispered in his ear. He then walked down the hall to find the three boys. Abel and Jack came into the Chapel moments later. Before I could text Savannah, I could hear yelling coming from the main room of the clubhouse. Gemma's voice followed by the angry voice of my daughter.

"Who did you whore yourself out to?" Gemma yelled at me. I should have known she would have been skulking around the clubhouse up to no good. I had been waiting just outside of the door to the clubhouse, with Connor in my arms, when she came up behind me.
I decided it was better to take my chances inside with my dad then it was to fight with Gemma. She followed me inside. She was on a tangent and not being quiet about it. I stopped in the middle of the main room, put Connor's diaper bag on a table and turned to face Gemma head on.
"Will you shut up already? Once again you know how to ruin everything! And you are so self-centered you can't even look at your great-grandson? The only good thing about being sent away ten years ago is that I was able to live 3,000 miles from you!" I replied, much louder than intended.
At that point I heard noise coming from behind me. "Her great-grandson? You had a baby?" my father roared. Not use to sound of yelling, Connor started to cry. "It's okay baby. You're okay. Mama's got you." I said softly as I rubbed his back.
I turned around to face my father and as I turned, I saw Opie and Kenny. I met Kenny's eyes and felt mine fill with tears. I faced my father, who stood with Abel and Jack on either side of him. "Dad, I'd like to introduce you to your grandson, Connor. His middle name is yours." I said as I turned Connor around in my arms so my Dad could get a look at him. Before anything could be said I turned to Kenny and said "His last name is yours."
