Considering what happened the last time they were in Wisconsin, Yakko wasn't sure why his siblings were so eager to come back. He was even less sure why he actually agreed to it. But this November had been unseasonably hot, even for Burbank, and he was just as ready as them for a break from the heat. And considering that their antics just drove the aliens batty, he doubted they'd be in any hurry to abduct them again.

That didn't stop Yakko from sleeping with one ear open, though. Confident as he was in his little sibs' ability to handle whatever got thrown at them, no way was anything getting to them without going through him.

Suddenly, something landed hard on his bunk, jolting him awake.

"Yakko! Wake up!"

He found himself looking at his sister, who was perched on the bunk beside him and shaking him, eyes wide and eager.

"Dot, wha…"

But before he could finish, Dot was scrambling up the ladder to the top bunk.

"Wakko! Wake up, c'mon, wake up!"

Yakko heard a jolt in the middle sibling's snoring before he answered, but his words were too sleepily slurred to understand. Dot let out an impatient huff.

"Come on, wake up already!"

By now, Yakko had climbed up the ladder himself to find Wakko still half-asleep with their sister shaking him.

"Uhhh, care to tell us what we're wakin' up for, sister sibling?"

Dot turned to face him, a huge grin on her face.

"It snowed!"

Wakko immediately jolted upright, completely awake.

"It snowed?" he repeated, eyes wide.

Yakko's own eyes immediately moved to the window and widened at what he saw. The trees and ground outside were covered in a thick coat of white.

"Yeah!" Dot said in an impatient voice. "Now come on, get up!"

Wakko scrambled out of bed and leaped off the bunk, not bothering with the ladder. Yakko quickly climbed back down, and Dot slid down after him. Within a few minutes, they had pulled on the coats they brought. Yakko reached over to zip his brother's up all the way, grinning. Toons couldn't get sick as easily as humans, but it was still possible.

The siblings raced to the door, and when Yakko threw it open a rush of chilled air blew in. Without hesitation, Wakko leaped out with a loud whoop, landing face-first in the snow before he began rolling around like an enthusiastic puppy. Dot let out an excited squeal as she jumped out too, pouncing on him. Yakko hesitated for a moment, taking in a lungful of the crisp air before jumping out as well. He snatched both his siblings as he landed, and all three went rolling in the snow, laughing.

There was hardly ever snow in Burbank, and certainly never enough to play in; they'd only ever had the opportunity a few times. It might be way colder than they were used to, but none of them really minded.

After a few moments, Dot flopped on her back in some undisturbed snow, sweeping her arms and legs to make a snow angel while Wakko romped around on all fours. Yakko sat back with a grin, closing his eyes as he drew in another deep breath of cold air. He enjoyed having fun just as much as his siblings, but part of that enjoyment came from seeing them happy. Lowering his head, he opened his eyes just in time for a snowball to smack him right in the face. Sputtering, he shook the snow out of his eyes to see his brother standing there with a huge grin, tongue hanging out.

Yakko narrowed his eyes in a mock glare before scooping up some snow and chucking it back at Wakko, but he ducked just in time. Straightening, he stuck out his tongue.

"Can't get me!"

Yakko smirked, raising a brow.

"Oh, really? I wouldn't get so cocky, pal."

Before Wakko could even move, his older brother had jumped to his feet and leaped at him. The middle sibling let out a startled yelp as he was caught in a tackle, then a playful growl as the brothers tussled. Yakko heard Dot laughing and knew she was watching. Grinning, he snatched Wakko in a headlock and began scrubbing his fist over his head.

"No, no!" the middle sibling yelped, laughing. "Not the hat!"

"Sorry, sib! Loser's gotta take it!"

"Dot, help!" Wakko called. Without hesitation, she leaped on their older brother's back, and when Yakko's grip loosened the middle sibling pulled out of it and pounced on him too.

"Hey, no fair!" Yakko protested as his siblings wrestled him to the ground. "Okay, okay, I give!"

Wakko and Dot both cheered, high fiving each other. Still wearing a fond grin, Yakko sat up and pulled them both into a hug.

The clouds had cleared, and the stars were bright in the night sky. Yakko gazed up at them with an arm around each of his siblings, all three laying on the roof of the cabin. Night had brought colder temperatures, but none of the siblings felt like going in yet. The eldest Warner glanced at his brother, smiling at the distant look in his eyes.

"See a wishing star up there, Wak?"

Never taking his eyes off the sky, Wakko nodded.

"Uh-huh."

"You gonna wish for something?" Dot asked, a smile on her face too.

For a few moments, Wakko didn't answer… only gazed up at the sky. Then he smiled.

"Nah. Don't think I need to."

Yakko's smile widened, and he patted his brother's shoulder.

"I know what ya mean, baby bro." He pulled both siblings a little closer. "Love you, sibs."

Wakko and Dot nestled against him.

"Love you, too," both said at the same time.

The three of them spent a lot of time together, Yakko knew… almost every waking moment, really. Some people might think that spending all your time with the same people might get old, but Yakko couldn't care less what they thought. It never got old for him, and he knew it never would for his siblings either. As far as they were concerned, there was no one else in the world they'd rather be with.

We're a family, a set… and that's all we need.
