It was 1200 in the afternoon, Gibbs had gone out to get his 7th cup of coffee, as well as Kate's cup. McGee and Kate were down in the Forensics Lab with Abby, and Tony had just come back from his favorite diner with a bag of his favorite burger and his drink in his hand when he noticed a girl sitting at Gibbs' desk. She had red hair with blue eyes. Tony frowned when he realized she looked much like his boss. She couldn't be much older than 19.
"I wouldn't be sitting at that desk if I were you." He said as he put down his stuff. The girl looked up from her book and raised an eyebrow.
"And why not?" She asked making Tony look at her and chuckle.
"Well. Unless you have a death wish, then I suggest sitting at another agent's desk." Tony replied making the girl scoff and continue reading her book.
"Don't say I didn't warn you." Tony said as he sat down and started eating his lunch.
The elevator then dinged making Tony look up to see McGee walking out with Abby.
"Hey, Probie. Think fast." Tony said as he threw his trash at McGee who caught it. Abby glared at Tony.
"Oh, come on, Tony. Stop picking on him." Abby rolled her eyes before spotting the girl sitting at her boss's desk.
"Um...Who is she? And what is she doing at Gibbs' desk?"
"Don't know. Don't care." Tony said as he pulled up his emails to see if anything new showed up. Abby sighed and walked out of the bullpen just as Gibbs walked past her.
"Hey, Bossman!"
"Hello, Abby." Gibbs said as he dropped off a cup of coffee at Kate's desk before stopping when he saw the girl at his desk.
"Kelly? What the hell are you doing here?" Gibbs asked as he walked over to her.
"Well, you forgot to pick me up, Daddy." Kelly sighed as she put her book down and stood up while McGee and Tony's jaws dropped down to the ground.
"Daddy?!" The two exclaimed making Gibbs glare at them before turning to his daughter.
"I'm sorry, honey, it must've just slipped my mind." He said as Kelly smiled at him.
"No biggie. I had a friend drop me off here. No one is at home and after what happened this morning, I don't want to- Oh, shit."
Gibbs looked up from the file on his desk and raised his eyebrows at his daughter.
"What the hell happened at home?"
"Um-"
Being oblivious that Gibbs had a visitor, Kate walked into the bullpen without looking up.
"I can't believe you, Gibbs. What the hell is wrong- Oh, hi Kelly. I-" Kate's head snapped up and looked at Kelly with a shocked expression.
"Kelly!?"
"Hi, Kate!" Kelly said as she walked over and hugged the agent, all three forgetting that Tony and McGee were watching them.
"What are you doing here? Didn't you have an exam today?"
"Yeah. But I finished it."
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Who is she? And how do you know her?" Tony asked as he stood up walking over to the group.
Gibbs sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Tony. McGee. This is my daughter. Kelly."
Kelly turned to Tony and McGee.
"Ohhh! So, you're the annoying, perverted Italian and you're the geek!" Kelly said before Kate's eyes widened and covered Kelly's mouth before she could say anything else.
"Annoying?" Tony asked with a shocked expression.
"Geek?"
"Pervert!?" Tony exclaimed, looking at Kate with a fake hurt expression.
"Wow, Kate. I never. Ever thought you would say something like that." He said as Kate rolled her eyes and uncovered Kelly's mouth.
"I-I-I-"
Kate was interrupted by the ringing of Gibbs' phone. He sighed as he answered his phone.
"Gibbs." He said in a gruff tone. The others tried to listen to the conversation but Gibbs had already put the phone down.
"Dinozzo, gas the truck. Kate, grab the gear. McGee, get Ducky. We've got a dead Petty Officer found at a park." Gibbs ordered as the three agents nodded. Kelly gasped and started jumping.
"Can I help! Can I help! Oh, please, Daddy!"
"Go home, Kelly."
"Oh, pleaseeee." Kelly said as she pouted at her father. Kate giggled as she finished grabbing the gear and put on her hat.
Gibbs sighed before answering, "Alright. Fine. But, you're riding at the back with McGee."
Kelly gasped and threw her arms around her father's neck and kissed his cheek.
"Thanks, Daddy!"
Gibbs smiled and gave her a hug before breaking the hug.
"You're welcome, but what have I told you?"
Kelly frowned before realizing what he meant. "Oh! Right. Thank you, Agent Gibbs."
Gibbs smirked before grabbing his cup of coffee and walking out of the bullpen, Kelly, and Kate in tow.
