Chapter 1: A Rough Day

It was an ordinary day in Litwak City for most citizens. However one of the citizens, Honey Shaw wasn't having that good of a day. She didn't have that many customers in her store, so she decided to close up early.

"I can't believe the store only got two customers." she said to her bees.

"Don't worry, Honey. Everyone has those days." Buzz told her.

"It's probably for the best. You can't work too hard now that you have a bun baking." Bumble mentioned, flying close to Honey's stomach.

A few weeks ago Honey had found out she was pregnant.

"Well at least I can catch up on some reading."

And she went to her little office to read a book.

"This is going to be a long year." Honey said as she sat down and opened a book.

"I miss going flying and my old adventures already."

"It'll be nice to settle for a bit. And since you made your droids house servants rather than working here, it'll be just like old times." said Bumble.

"Just the four of us."

"Sure you don't want to go back to Lucy's navy?" Stinger asked.

"And have a boring desk job like Tori? No thanks. Ever since I got pregnant Lucy won't let me go on the fun missions. At least here I have humans to talk to besides droids." said Honey

"Hello? Anyone here?" someone called.

Honey knew that was the sound of a B1 droid, Lucy must be here, because she didn't know many others who had one of those. She went to the counter and saw Lucy in a nice new dress with Star patterns covering it.

She had with her 2 B1 battle droids, a B2 super, and a commando droid.

"Hi Miss Honey, I'm here to stock up for my castle." said Lucy.

"Of course Lucy, anything for my favorite customer. That's a pretty dress you got on." said Honey as she got Lucy's usual order set up for her.

"Thanks, it's custom made, and it fits my title as queen of the stars. I have a meeting with the imperial Grand Moff in a couple hours to discuss the scrapping efforts on Equestria." said Lucy.

"That was some battle that week. Glad that's over now." said Honey as she bagged items up.

Lucy looked at the counter and saw several colorful jars.

"Hey, what's in these?" Lucy asked.

Honey turned to Lucy.

"Oh those are just some new flavors of honey. Sweet and sour, and tangy citrus. Those are my free sample jars."

"Sweet and sour? Ew."

"Come on, they're not..."

Honey leaned too far over the counter and spilled one of the open jars over Lucy's dress.

"Oh princess, I'm so sorry."

Honey grabbed some paper towels and went to Lucy, trying to clean her up.

"My beautiful dress, you ruined it. Ew it's all sticky and gross." Lucy whined.

"I'm so sorry, I'm trying to remove it. Oh it's spreading." said Honey worriedly.

Honey failed to see she was standing on part of the dress, and she accidentally ripped a portion of it off. The B2 raised its arm blaster at her.

"Step away from the queen." the droid commanded in a deep voice.

Honey backed away nervously as the other droids raised their blasters at her.

"Do you know how much this cost me? It's all ruined. Moff Williams would make fun of me if he saw me like this" Lucy cried.

"I'm sorry Lucy." Honey pleaded.

"Please, Miss Honey. Just leave me alone." Lucy told her.

The droids grabbed her stuff, and they all left the store.

"Well that didn't go well." said Buzz.

"I haven't seen Lucy that upset with me since I hit her." Honey said quietly.

"It's okay, Honey. Why don't we go see what Kevin's up to?" Bumble suggested.

"Yeah." she agreed.

And so Honey left the store, locked up, and went to the castle.

As she walked to the castle, Honey and her bees passed by the airfield. There she saw Rancis and Tails working on a plane. Honey perked up a little, perhaps they would be happy to see her. She opened the gate, and walked to the plane they were working on.

"Hey boys." she greeted.

She startled them so much, they shot up and hit their heads on the plane.

"Oh, sorry. Are you guys all right?" she wondered.

"We were until you interrupted us." Rancis sneered.

"Yeah, thanks a lot Honey." added Tails.

Honey could sense she wasn't wanted here, and quickly hurried away.

"Great, now Rancis and Tails are upset at me."

"It's okay, Honey. It was just an accident." Buzz told her.

But Honey didn't look very convinced. Her bees decided to nuzzle her cheeks in an effort to comfort her. She then went into the castle, and learned Kevin was in his room. Once she got to his door, she knocked.

However no one answered.

"Kevin, you in there?"

"Yeah." he called from the other side of the door.

She opened the door, and saw Kevin kneeling on the floor.

"Hi, Kevin. What are you up to?" she wondered.

Kevin turned around with a sour expression on his face and in his hand some broken pieces of something.

"Well I was admiring my new model of a rocket ship, but your knocking made me drop it and it shattered." he told her upset.

Seeing that she had caused another "incident", Honey just left the castle.

"So far this day completely stinks." Honey complained, as she walked down the road.

"It wasn't your fault, Honey." Stinger told her.

"Yeah, you just walked in at the wrong time, and the thing with Lucy was an accident." added Bumble.

But Honey didn't look convinced.

"How about we stop by Daniel's place, he and the guys are always happy to see you." Buzz suggested.

Honey managed to give a little smile. They stopped by their restaurant, and went inside. She spotted Daniel and couple of his guys talking with some people in business suits.

"Hi, Daniel, boys." she greeted.

"Hello Honey." Paulie greeted.

"What's going on?"

"Daniel's discussing business with these people. They're thinking of investing in our restaurant." he explained.

"Oh how exciting." Buzz whispered.

"They've sure come a long way." added Bumble.

"Yeah, at first they were bad guy gangsters, but look at them now." Honey said to her.

Unfortunately, the business people heard her.

"You used to be gangsters?" asked one of them.

Paulie, Daniel, and the others looked at them nervously.

"We've cleaned up our act now, we're legit." Daniel tried to explain.

"I think we may need more time to think about this investment." another said, and they all left.

Daniel looked sharply at Honey.

"Honey why did you do that?"

Honey was flustered.

"I-I'm sorry. I was just saying..."

"Please...just leave." he ordered.

Honey just hung her head, and left the restaurant. Once again, she'd caused a problem.

Honey didn't know what to do. She decided to go talk to Tori, but she arrived at the wrong time when she had a pile of work. Tori snapped at her, and Honey left with her bees.

"All my friends are all upset with me." Honey told her bees.

"Let's just get on home." Stinger told her.

"Yeah, at least my family will be happy to see me."

After she got to her house, she found her daughter, Sophie video chatting with her friends in her room.

"Hi, Sophie." she greeted.

"Hey, Mom. So anyway..." Sophie replied distracted.

"Uh, well what do you say tomorrow we go shopping. We could stop by that dress store you like?" Honey suggested.

Sophie froze, and she blushed.

"(Giggles) I thought you didn't like dresses, Sophie." teased one of her friends.

"Maybe you're more girly than we thought."

"Mom! Thanks for embarrassing me!" Sophie snapped at Honey.

And she slammed her bedroom door.

"Sorry." Honey said quietly.

"Well that didn't go well." Buzz replied.

"Great, now my daughter's sore with me too."

She then heard the door open and close, indicating that Zeke was home. Honey went out to greet him, hopefully he would be happy to see her. Zeke however was in a foul mood, he threw his armor off, and plopped down at the kitchen table.

"Hi, Zeke." Honey greeted.

"Hey, Honey." he grumbled.

"What's wrong?"

"I had an awful day at work. I accidentally blew up a building while trying to disable a bomb, now I've been demoted recruiting."

"Oh I'm sorry. I've had a bad day too. You know maybe we can go out together, have dinner or see a movie."

But Zeke was so frustrated and upset, and Honey's words weren't helping. Then he snapped.

"Honey! Will you please just leave me alone!?" he yelled.

Honey just stood frozen, and Zeke stomped to their bedroom. It was officially the worse day ever. All her friends were mad at her, and even her own family didn't want her around at the moment. Hurt and sad, Honey quickly left the house.

Her bees looked at each other worriedly, and followed after her.
