The Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman season 5 finale had just ended. The world had been saved from the Golden Fetchie brainwashing device made by the organization P.U.R.R.S., a group of evil cats, thanks to the Fetchers and Ruff's long-lost parents, whom Ruff had recently discovered were spies. The Fetchers had just gone home, and the party was over. Blossom and Chet began cleaning up the command center, which was Ruff's doghouse, while Ruff was saying goodbye to his parents, who he had just been reunited with.

"We have so much to catch up on," Ruff told his parents. "I have so many questions."

Before he could ask any, though, Blossom came up to him and pointed to the mess that had been made, suggesting that he help them clean up.

"In a minute, Blossom. Can't you see I have more important things to do, like talk to my parents?" Ruff asked, a little annoyed.

Blossom sighed and left the command central to go into Studio G.

Ruff's mother said, "It's okay. We'll come back by tomorrow."

"We'll explain everything that happened and get things cleared up," added Ruff's dad.

"Alright. I guess I should wrap things up here. I'll see you guys later."

After Ruff hugged his parents goodbye, they went home.

Blossom ran back into the doghouse, alarmed. She went to Ruff and tugged on his arm while he was instructing Chet to clean up the confetti. "What is it?" the dog asked the cat.

Blossom pointed to the door, towards the direction of Studio G.

"There's someone in Studio G?" Ruff asked, confused.

Blossom nodded.

The three went to Studio G., and Ruff opened the door. "No one is supposed to be in there." After looking around, the orange dog's eyes widened. "There's a kid in here!" he exclaimed, bewildered.

A human girl, who looked about 12-15, was lying down by the flamingos, curled up in a fetal position, asleep. When Ruff spoke, his loud voice woke her up. Startled, she sat up and saw the dog, cat, and mouse staring at her.

The girl had short, light brown hair that was tangled in knots. She wore a red and black varsity jacket that was a little big on her, an orange T-shirt, and a pair of blue jeans. Her shoes were white sneakers, though the color of them was difficult to see since they were so dirty.

Immediately, the girl tensed up and pulled out a pocketknife and pointed the blade at them.
